Logan is a wonderful tale of chasing your dreams! It can be read as a stand alone, but will make you want to read the other books in the series as soon as you finish. Two people from very different worlds, reconnect after years apart. I enjoyed watching Piper break the mold of what you expect of a leading female character. A very enjoyable romance that will have you cheering out loud and wanting to follow your own dreams!
Logan is book six of the 7 Brides for 7 Blackthornes, a series written by multiple authors. I really enjoyed Piper and Logan’s story. Their issues were real, and the emotions they felt were easy to feel and connect with. This is definitely one not to be missed.
Samantha did a great job with Logan and Piper’s story. I loved Pipers sassy personality and the easy banter between her and Logan. It’s funny, romantic and you really get lost in the story and their developing relationship. Wonderful job Samantha.
A very well written story by Samantha Chase. Logan Blackthorne can’t decide which of the family business he wants to work at. So he tries them all. He travels to King Harbor, Maine to help out at the Whisky Vault, This is where he runs into Piper, the caretakers daughter. They grew up together, but has not seen each other in a few years. Piper is no longer the little girl he remembers. Things heat up between them, but it is just a fling or will in turn into a long lasting romance. Only time will tell
I absolutely adored Logan and Piper’s story. Samantha Chase has woven everything I look for in a romance and more beautifully in this book. ‘Logan’ is the perfect heart-warming romance to snuggle up for the afternoon and get lost in Ms. Chase’s incredible ability to draw the readers into her characters and their world.
I loved the banter and chemistry between Logan and Piper. With both at cross-roads in their lives, trying to determine which direction to go in the future, they never expected, or were prepared for, yet another factor in their decision process. I loved how they reconnected and grew as people and as a couple.
I highly recommend ‘Logan’ and know you will enjoy it as much as I did!
Logan is book 6 in the series 7Brides for 7 Blackthornes, you can either read it as part of the series or as a stand alone. This book jumps off the pages and comes alive.
Logan is the youngest in his family and feeling the pressure to find his place I the family business or his father would have to find him a spot. Logan goes up to Maine to help out his families restaurant but doesn’t expect to meet a beautiful women. He had no idea who she was until the manager has said her name.
Piper just graduated college and goes home to Maine to see her father and figure out if she wants to start a gaming company with her friends. While she is back home she works at The Vault which is owned by the Blackthornes.
Logan and Piper have an instant connection and Logan wants to explore the possibilities of dating Piper, but Piper has some reservations and over thinking things.
Once Piper stops over thinking everything she sees that things could work while they were both home. But she nor Logan had bargained for what was to come..
I loved this book for the moment I started reading it. Samantha has a way with words and creating the scenes that just jump off the pages.
I love any story that Samantha Chase creates. It is a bold but oh so true statement.
Every story takes me into a new world full of characters that I wish I could meet and have in my life. They are vivid and fun, caring and humorous, occasionally snarky and always realistic with their problems and attempts to solve them or help others.
Logan’s story has all the above and more making it a great read that I didn’t want to put down. There are laugh out loud moments, sweet moments, moments of suspense…I mean …what is that secret!!! And overall just a great read. Piper is a strong female whose love of family and sense of self worth is very admirable. I loved her relationship with Logan’s grandma and found the connection to the garden lovely.
I have not read the other Blackthorne books, but I will be remedying that shortly! Thanks for the chance to read this book and share my opinions!
Logan and Piper
Logan is book six in the series about 7 brides for 7 Blackthornes and admittedly I’m a Samantha Chase virgin, having never read any of her work before, but this series drew me in and I wanted to reach the conclusion with Trey next week, so thought I’d give it a go
I’m so happy I did as Logan’s story is slightly different to his brothers and cousins. The other six know where they want to be and what they want to do, whereas Logan has worked in each division with a more hands on approach. Now he’s back in King Harbor looking after the Vault while the manager goes away on his annual vacation when he sees Piper again, not recognising her initially
Piper is back in King Harbor because she can’t make a decision regarding her future and is hoping for her father’s input. When she starts working at the Vault again, she’s surprised to see Logan bartending but when she realises he doesn’t recognise her…she plays it for all its worth
Very sweet ending and I’m looking forward to the conclusion next week
Samantha Chase’s book always delivers the feel-good story. “Logan” is that. The youngest of 7 seems to get overlooked as a kid so he was always pushing himself to do better and be better. Now as an adult everyone thinks that he is just a playboy with no ambition. But he’s worked and learned every division of “Blackthorn with the ambition of being at the helm. Coming home for a visit he works the bar at the Blackthorn tasting room and runs into a pretty redhead employee. He flirts and she flirts back. What he doesn’t know is he’s known the woman all his life.
Logan and Piper get their HEA but they have to go through the tough part first. Well written, well researched and smart. The continuity between these six books so far is flawless. I highly recommend this book.
This book is part of the 7 Brides for 7 Blackthornes Series where each book in the series is written by a different author but is a complete standalone. Logan is book 6 in this series
I love the romance story’s that Samantha Chase usually brings us and this one is no different.
Logan is the youngest of the Blackthorne brothers and cousins. He has come back King Harbour to run the family bar, The Vault. He has no clue what he wants out of life until Piper helps him. She has grown up around the Blackthornes as shes the daughter of their Manor’s caretaker. Shes come back home so she can set up her video gaming business.
What starts out as a holiday fling turns into so much more. The chemistry between Piper and Logan is sweet but scorching hot at the same time.
Logan, the baby of the Blackthorne brothers, hasn’t settled on a career within the Blackthorne Company yet. He travels around and fills in wherever he feels he is needed. He’s temporarily working in Maine filling in for the manager who is on vacation where Piper is also working temporarily while debating her future employment options.
These two are great together. There is quite a bit of humor and I loved their ‘gaming’. Having several adult child that love playing games I could actually visualize their playing.
I had quite a smile on my face while reading this story. I really enjoyed it.
Logan & Piper were childhood acquaintances that had lost touch – this book had a bit of a “swan” feel – particularly given how they re-meet and how Logan didn’t recognize her right away! I particularly liked how both were looking for what they want to do when they grow up – or how they want to do it.
I highly recommend reading the rest of the series – this 7 part family series builds on each other and there are a number subplots that run through the series.
I received this book as an ARC in order to provide this honest review.
Logan by Samantha Chase
is part of the 7 Brides for 7 Blackthornes series and is book
#6 in the series however is a complete standalone.
Logan has returned to Maine to help at one of the family businesses. Having being pressured by his father, Logan needs to soon make a choice as to which area of the company he’s interested in running, or he’ll have one picked for him.
Piper the caretakers daughter is back in town also. Visiting her father also trying to d
is back in her hometown to spend time with her father while she decides what exactly she wants to do with her life.
Logan and Piper have an immediate intense connection and their chemistry is HOT! When they embark on a casual relationship, what’s to be expected? Neither expect to fall for the other, and what about their futures in their businesses? Can love conquer all?
I was hooked from the start, while I haven’t read the other stories in the series, I had no trouble following along. Mrs Chase has a way of captivating her readers attention with her words and her characters are so lovable. I loved this story!
Logan by Samantha Chase
Another awesome book from Samantha!! So sweet and charming. Very well written.
“It doesn’t matter if you win or lose; it’s how you play the game…”
Very highly recommend.
I loved this book and this wonderful series! This is Piper and Logan’s story. It had a great storyline and wonderful characters with amazing chemistry! It was a fantastic book and I really enjoyed it!
I Loved Logan’s addition to the 7 Brides for 7 Blackthornes series. I could so relate to him. Being the youngest of 3 in my family I felt his turmoil of always feeling like he had to do more or be the best in order to get any kind of recognition. Oh don’t get me wrong, like Logan I was loved but often just not taken as seriously as my siblings. The author did an outstanding job with Logan’s story in my humble opinion. She gave us a very romantic, light hearted storyline full of emotion and determination and romance. Kudos for a job well done.
Logan, like I said is the youngest of the Blackthornes. He’s a jack of all trades when it comes to Blackthorne industries. He has learned all the fascists of the business, he can fill in anywhere and never miss a beat. He just can’t seem to settle on one area he wants to spend his life doing and his father is pressuring him to decide. While filing in at the Vault, their restaurant in Maine, he runs into Piper, the groundskeeper daughter. But she is no longer the little kid he knew, she is now a grown woman, home from college, who he wants to get to know (in more ways than one). Piper is drawn to him as well but will she ever be more than just the groundskeepers daughter? Would they ever fit into each others world; which will soon be miles apart when? Can Logan appease his father while convincing Piper she’s meant to be his? What about the Big Secret their mother is keeping????
I read this book in one pop as I just couldn’t put it down. It Fun, Flirty, Sexy, Romantic and so much more. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for a terrific addition to the series. While all the books could easily be read as standalones I Highly Recommend reading them in order for a much better reading experience and I suggest grabbing them up ASAP, you won’t be sorry you did.
Logan met his match in Piper. He didn’t know the daughter of the hired help had grown up to be so beautiful and intelligent and independent. Piper always had a crush on Logan but that didn’t mean that she would let him be above her because he’s from a wealthy family. They had this pull and push type of relationship but made it work. He wasn’t your typical rich guy; he was actually pretty humble. She had a heart of gold.
LOGAN by Samantha Chase is the sixth instalment in the multi-authored 7 BRIDES FOR 7 BLACKTHORNES romance series focusing on the Blackthorne family. This is youngest brother Logan Blackthorne, and video game designer Piper Stewart’s story line. LOGAN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Logan and Piper) LOGAN follows the building relationship between Logan Blackthorne, and video game designer Piper Stewart. Piper is a recent graduate and has been offered a full-time position with her friends on the West Coast, a position that will see her gaming ideas come to fruition but Piper struggles with leaving behind her father, and the possibility that her friends’ business is less than ideal. Working the summer at the Blackthorne family owned restaurant The Vault, Piper will come face to face with the boy-now-man that she has lusted after most of her childhood and adult life. Enter Logan Blackthorne, the youngest Blackthorne, and the man with whom Piper will fall in love. What ensues is the building friendship, relationship and romance between Logan and Pipes, and the potential fall-out as misunderstanding, miscommunication, and Logan’s time in Maine comes to an end.
Logan Blackthorne is ambivalent about his future within the Blackthorne organization. With the ability to do everything but choosing nothing in particular Logan hopes one day to sit at the helm of the family business but Logan’s reputation as a womanizer, and his indecisiveness as it pertains to the family business has earned our hero a less than stellar track record amongst family and friends . Piper Stewart’s new game design has yet to take off but working at The Vault gives Piper time to rethink her future, including the possibility of working alone, or with someone else. Rekindling her friendship with Logan Blackthorne gives Piper pause for thought, and the possibility of falling in love never entered into the equation. The $ex scenes are all implied.
LOGAN is a story of family, friendships, revelations and love. The premise is flirty and engaging; the romance is sweet and passionate; the characters are sassy, colorful and energetic but their issues of trust set up the relationship to fail. LOGAN is a fast paced, character driven and inviting instalment in the 7 Brides for 7 Blackthornes romance anthology.
I have to say once again how I’m loving this unique series and Logan is the perfect addition.
Logan is the youngest Blackthorne and he has struggled to find his way in this dynamic family , his father wants him to decide where he is going and where he sees himself in the many divisions of the Blackthorne empire but he finds himself jogging along with no real vision until he meets Piper in the Vault the family run bar. Piper is the groundskeeper’s daughter and when Logan first meets her again he doesn’t recognise the girl he was friends with in childhood but she recognised him……
The attraction is instant and the chemistry sizzling but Piper is only back visiting her father she is destined for better things and moving away is always on the cards for her will Logan make the choice to move with her or will he let his father ruin the best thing that has ever happened to him ……
This is a book with all the feels, I laughed, I swooned and I sighed a fair bit as i found myself willing Logan to stand up to his father. Am I sad to see this series coming to an end off course but I will certainly read this series again because I have loved all the authors different styles of writing as well as falling for everyone of these swoon worthy Blackthornes.
Chase took inspiration from my favorite classic movie and gave it a modern twist that’s all her own. Logan holds a special place in my heart. Piper is the girl next door with big dreams that she has longed to have come true. Logan is the guy who seems to have the perfect life, but can’ t manage to allow himself to be happy. If a dream is a wish your heart makes, be careful what you wish for because it just might come true. From family drama to romantic heartache, no one does second chances like Samantha Chase.
