I recommend this book with the conditions mentioned in the following review.
Started off fantastic!
I love to get lost in a book, whether it is a mystery, a thriller, SciFi, Fantasy, History, Biography…it doesn’t matter, as long as the writing is good, the mistakes kept to a minimum, and the characters engaging with a good and believable plot. …
Face paced and Riveting !!!!
Lots of action. Needs a good editor.
Starting with a mundane security detail to keep the owner of a drug research and development business safe, we become immersed in a plot that seems more evil than what Hitler did to the Jews.
To say much more would spoil some of the more interesting parts of the story. Fast paced and curious, can a drug company actually be this insidious?

Great characters, unpredictable: a great read
Good Read
Love the main character
Lots of action. Easy plot to follow but not easy to anticipate what comes next. Lock is insightful and courageous. He and Ty make a team that gets things done with knowing looks and nods. This delves into corporate corruption and human test subjects.
Made you think!
Entertaining
A bit too much graphic violence but a good read.
This book was a riveting page turner for me.
It lasted too long. The next section seemed contrived. If you want a second part, it should have been a serial.
Great fast paced book to read!
Lock is a bad ass
Terrorism is not my thing in the political climate we have today. Not interested.
Have not finished it yet! Can’t wait to find out how it turns out.
A fantastic,well written thrill-ride guaranteed to please
This was an entertaining story with lots of intrigue and suspense. There were some unbelievable, over-the-top moments, but it still made for an interesting read. I liked the ex-soldier, turned elite bodyguard, aspect. I’m amazed at the training the author went through to develop his main character. Kudos, Mr. Black! I can’t wait to read book two, …
Real page turner. Realistic story and great character development. Want to read more!
