He’s looking for a life free of commitments or obligations. She knows he’s wrong for her. She shouldn’t want him for more than one night.

A fun and sexy afternoon’s reading.
We all have a number of authors that we auto-one-click every new book that comes out, and Noelle Adams is one of mine. I love everything she writes. Living With Her One Night Stand is a stand-a-lone in a new series about three young women who had shared a loft apartment above the Tea For Two cafe.
In attempting to push her own boundaries, Jill does something she’s never done before. She met a sexy stranger and had a one night stand, no names, no attachments, just lots of fun discussions and a great time between the sheets, making sure she’s well and truly home before dawn. She wants to be up bright and early to meet the new room mate who is going to be sharing the loft apartment with her and her friends for six months. You can see where this is going right?
Lucas used to be serious until an incident in his past made him turn his back on everything he thought he wanted – his family, a dependable job, a fiance, and a house. This watershed moment turned him into a cruiser, drifting from place to place, nothing serious and no attachments. He’s just got to town, and waiting to catch up with an old friend with whom he’s going to be sharing space for six months. Out for some air, he sees a gorgeous curvy and tiny blonde who catches his interest unlike ever before, and suddenly he’s keen for a night of unattached sex. She doesn’t do one night stands, but she’ll break her own rules this one time.
Jill and Lucas both have the night of their lives, but that one night is all there is, until Lucas arrives to the apartment where he will be staying for the next six months.
Each time I purchase Noelle Adams latest releases, I know I’m in for a great read, and to date, I’ve not been disappointed. This book combines a sweet story with some hot chemistry between Jill and Lucas. The secondary characters are well developed and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. 4.5 Stars
Jill wants a forever man. When her online date doesn’t show up she decides to try a fun filled night with the handsome stranger she met instead. Now she’s face to face with Lucas the man she thought she’d never see again.
Lucas had a “bam” two years ago and walked away from his life. He now lives day to day, riding the tide, and only stopping for brief times in temporary places. His life goals do not mesh with Jill’s. He does not want a forever but he does want a now.
This couple! OMG! I loved and despaired over them. They were so perfect together and yet they both knew they couldn’t be more. Their chemistry may have sparked their beginning but getting to know each other set fire to their soul deep need.
Lucas was caught in the past, unable to let go and move forward, unable to even share a bit of himself with Jill and that absolutely broke my heart. He was a good guy but he no longer saw himself in that light. Even while Jill struggled between yielding to Lucas and keeping her distance, I saw her as a strong heroine. She wanted the happy ever after and despite knowing that Lucas couldn’t give that to her, she was unable to let him into her heart.
This book had me laughing and crying and my heart being pulled in so many directions. I love when a story pulls me in so much that I ignore everything around me and just fall into it without a second thought. Living With My One Night Stand definitely did that. It was fast paced, well written, pretty steamy and had about a mid level of angst.
I loved every moment, every word, every step these characters took no matter how painful or sweet. Bring on the next, please!
Jill and Lucas have a great evening forgetting their lives. They both want different futures but over time become close friends.
I enjoyed this book and read it in one sitting. It is easy to read and entertaining.
Naughty and fun.
Forever is today…
I liked the concept of this book. To have a one-night stand thinking you would never see this person again, and then find out you just slept with your new roommate – it is just delicious! The sex scenes were steamy but the story was much more than just sex, which is refreshing. The building feelings between Jill and Lucas were interesting. Both of them were damaged but in different ways. Jill’s unstable childhood left her wanting stability and Lucas’s BAM event shook his foundation and trust. I never quite understood what was going on between Michelle and Steve but that is probably for another book that I will hopefully get a chance to read.
A very pleasant read.
Loved It
Jill had a date she made with a guy online, she it up to meet at a bar. While waiting another guy started talking to her, her date never showed up. She went back to the hotel with the cute guy she was talking to and they had fun, she is not a one night stand for of girl. When she got home she know they were waiting for their temporary roommate who was a friend of her roommate boyfriend. When Lucas walked in it was a shock because he was the guy from the night before. They have to see where it goes
Love this author!
This is an enjoyable read!
Once again Noelle Adams has done it again.
She has to be my favorite writer! The books In this series just get better and better. Thanks for writing them, Ms. Adams.
Hot. A good story with just the right amount of complexity.
I really enjoyed reading this book. The plot is original and the characters are well built and feel emotionally authentic.
I’m glad I’ve come to know this writer (thank you bookbub!)
Nice spin on story!
Disappointed. I am normally a big noelle fan but this did not come up to her usual standards. Not enough chemistry almost felt it was robotic and programmed to fit a standard format. Don’t waste your time.
It was well written & I enjoyed it, but not sure how realistic it is.
Pretty predictable, but a pleasant easy read with lovable characters
Wasn’t crazy about the main make character going from very confident to wimpy (due to his past). I started to lose interest at that point. Last resolved and lived happily ever after.
This was enjoyable and entertaining. Two people had to get over their individual personal issue in order to get together.
A good read!
