Lily is an orphan and a witch. She was raised by a coven though she was stronger than any of them. She is now attending college in NYC when strange things start to happen.
This book will keep you on the edge of your seat. The world building is really done extremely well as are the characters. You know you’ve got a good writer when even the characters that only appear briefly are sketched out as real people and not just throwaways,
The book does end on a cliffhanger. I can hardly wait for the next book in the series,

Lily is a 19 year old NYU student who was raised by a coven of witches but is now lying low and not using magic. She’s a loner who is happy to actually make a couple of friends in Ash and Raven and then meet the literal man of her dreams, Ash’s friend Roth. Except things aren’t quite what they seem. Ash is a hellhound, Raven is a Nephilim and Roth is a Duke of Hell. Roth is also Lily’s mate and she’s the Heir to Hell. Lily can’t be told the truth yet, just to make things more complicated, so she has to be taught how to protect herself while the others keep her safe. She’s also trying to pass her classes. This is a really good PNR, cleverly well written with some fantastic characters, and a really exciting storyline that keeps you enthralled all the way to the very end of the book!, can’t wait to read more. I’d definitely recommend this book.

Super big fan of Erin Bedford and quickly snatched this up when it was available. Lily is a fun character to follow through her journey and Roth is so tortured. I mean within the first few chapters a bird poops on his head!
Ash and Raven are great supporting characters and as this is titled #1 in a series I hope in Bedford fashion Ash and Raven both make more appearances and are more developed.
The plot is a standard girl doesn’t know who her parents are and turns out to be special although she knows she has some special talents and people of her coven are scared of her but she doesn’t know about the “real world”. But Bedford and May’s writing just takes the plot you know and makes it new and exciting.
Highly recommend and cannot wait for more!
The first book in the Wicked Crown series a well written story that kept me turning pages. I enjoyed reading Lily Star Morgan and Roth’s st5ory of suspense, drama, danger, lies, and romance. Little Morning Star is a paranormal romance that includes interesting characters and takes place in an intriguing world. This book has it all romance, drama, angst, action, secrets, danger, magic and so much more is happening in this unique world. I look forward to reading the next book in this series to see what happens next.
I loved this first book in the series that takes a slightly different take on the angels and demons and their fighting. I loved its take on history and the main characters were a blast. I loved how it sets up the series and what is to come (hopefully). I was hooked from the beginning and had to see what would happen next and how Lily would figure out things. And Roth and Lily were a blast together.
This is just awesome! A fantastic collaboration between two fantastic authors, I immediately got sucked into the story of a war brewing between Heaven and Hell. With an interesting take on angels and demons this is exciting, fun and intriguing. There’s romance, there’s intrigue and there’s some kick ass characters. Looking forward to the next book!

Lil’ Morning Star
The pace of the book was great once the action started. There is plenty of action and mystery that kept me on the edge of my seat. Lily Star Morgan was given to a coven of witches as a baby by her parents. Lily was always stronger than all the other witches growing up. She never fit in. Now she is being hunted. Lily has angels attacking her and she does not know why. Everyone is looking for the Heir to the throne of Hell, who is the long lost daughter of Lucifer and Lilith. Now she is like a weak child who needs protection. She meets Ash, Raven, and Astaroth (Roth), the Duke of Hell. They are all instructing Lily in using her power. They are helping her become stronger. Lily has the potential to be so much stronger. She just needs to learn how to use her powers.
There were some steamy moments between Lily & Roth, just enough to hook you. Roth is the man Lily has been dreaming of for years. Lily is Roth’s mate. Roth is sexy and protective of Lily. Roth is thousands of years old while Lily who is turning twenty is a child in his eyes. Roth says they have to wait until she is twenty five before they can have a true relationship. They are both having a hard time with the idea of waiting five years. I can’t wait five years! Ash is a hellhound and Raven is a nephilim. I hope we get more of their story in future books. The four main characters are well written. There is a surprise cliffhanger at the end. I definitely will be reading the second book. I hope it is released soon! This is an awesome read!!

I loved reading Little Morning Star.. It was a fun and amazing book to read.
A bit of a twist between Angels and Demons of which I found exciting.
I love the characters.. Lily so brave and courageous, Ash the good friend, Raven the best friend, and Roth with his cocky smile. Each character is a key role to the story.. And I loved it through and through.
Highly entertaining, sexy, emotionally thrilling journey filled with dangerous, dark and engaging charters, witty dialog, heart racing twists and thrilling turns. A edge of your seat so hard to put down read.
Lily’s story was an interesting take on a angel/demon/shifter/witch story. The writing was intriguing and I enjoyed the pace of the book. I look forward to book 2 and seeing what happens with Lily, Roth, Ash, and raven

What a great start to a series that I need to see through. The mystery and suspense keep you on edge, especially because we don’t get a lot of answers as to what is going on, but we can feel the tension. It kept me glued and unable to blink. The development with the characters is amazing and I found myself invested in knowing what was going on. Now I am on edge waiting for the next one.
A very encompassing book. Easily a book to surround your senses. Paranormals trying to keep Lily from others like angels that is trying to kill her. A mate, Roth was a vampire and immortal but had to wait until Lily was twenty five to claim her completely. The actions of Raven, Ash and Roth had Lily training and followed her everywhere. Such good reading, can’t wait for the authors to write the next book of the series! Good book.
A fantastic start to a new series
Lily is doing the best to keep her head down and appear normal
easier said than done
She’s always been the odd duck
A little different – A little more
She just wants to blend
Roth is on a quest to find the missing heir. As an old immortal, and right hand to Lucifer he approaches everything methodically. He is about to have his simple life flipped around into complete chaos
Ash has a job to do – seek out the scent and report has findings back to his employer. Easy.
Until a dark haired beauty calls to his beast.
Figures she’s the enemy
Raven is rebelling. Life is meant to be lived. Savored. Enjoyed.
This rag tag bunch of heroes had me laughing, crying, cheering and releasing the occasional “OMG”
A fantastic first in series packed with action, adventure, suspense, frictional romance ( you’ll see) and just a touch of mystery
This is the first book in the series and I’m already hooked. The story pulled me in and didn’t let me go until the very end. The story was full of humor, sass, mystery and lots of action. I can’t wait until the next book of this intriguing and original series.
This is a well written book with strong characters and an interesting story line. It’s an entertaining paranormal story filled with tons of action as well as a bit of romance ,anxiety and uncertainty. The authors do a great job building the story and pulled me in with all the happenings. The scenes are described in vivid detail and they move the story fluidly and delivering a great read!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Lily was raised by a coven of witches after her mother left her. Lily never fit in due to her magic. Lily decided to go to school in New York, just pretend to be human. Lily has made a pact to herself she would not use any magic. Lily is in class when she sees a new student, he seems to be staring her down. Lily is approached by another girl, telling her to be careful with him. He is waiting after class for her. Lily and Ash seem to strike a friendship even if she feels she can’t trust him. He takes her out to a club when Lily sees the man of her dreams.
Lily is drawn to the man Roth she just met. Everything fades to the background with him around. Lily needs some fresh air after he leaves. Lily and Ash are stopped by angel, this when things take a turn that Lily never saw coming
This was an interesting start to story. It is slow to start but gets better as the action picks up. Lily is a character that always knew she was different, never fit in. She was abandoned by her mother at a young and given away to a coven of witches. Lily will be learning more about herself, magic and her future that will blow her mind. I recommend reading this.
