Ten years ago, my high school crush found me during senior finals week in the student parking lot with my car decorated with items you find behind a drugstore counter and a “Most Likely to…” banner that would make a pro blush. And by “pro,” I don’t mean golf.In under an hour, everything I knew about myself was turned upside down and inside out, just as our high school career was in its final … was in its final hours.
Then again, he’s the high school quarterback. He’s used to performing when the clock’s running out.
Me? I perform well under pressure, too.
But not when Will Lotham is about to kiss me.
Or is he?
Little Miss Perfect is a prequel to the events that take place in Fluffy, New York Times bestselling author Julia Kent’s new book. It can be read on its own, without having read Fluffy.

This was my first read of this author, and it defiently won’t be the last. This was such a great introduction of Mallory and Will story.
Great prequel to Fluffy.
Little Miss Perfect (Do-Over, #0.5) was another great read by Julia Kent. Ten years ago, Mallory found herself in the student parking lot with her high school crush during finals week. Her car is decorated with some questionable things and a most likely to be a pornstar banner. It seems like Will may kiss her even though he is the high school quarterback. I loved reading this prequel to Fluffy, and enjoyed the beginning of Mallory and Will’s story. I can’t wait to read more by Julia Kent.
Little Miss Perfect is the prequel to Fluffy which is the story of one important conversation between Will and Mallery that sets the course of their future. The Do-Over series is setting up to be a great series. This was my first Julia Kent book and definitely will not be my last. Erin Mallon is becoming one of my favourite go-to audiobook narrators the more I listen to her narrate.

This is what prequel novellas are supposed to do. Tease the main event. And Little Miss Perfect did exactly that. This was 80 pages set on the last day of exams in high school. Mallory needs a text book and runs into her high school crush, who are both battling for valedictorian.
I have a feeling that Fluffy is going to be their not really but kinda delayed HEA.
I’m so glad I have this entire series to binge. I received a copy of this on audio to review. My opinion hasn’t been influenced.
I listened to the audio version of this book.
Little Miss Perfect is the prequel novella to Fluffy. It gives us a view of the characters as they were in high school. It is hilariously full of high school pranks and angst. You can’t help but wonder how Mallory and Will will even be brought into close proximity in Fluffy, much less become a couple. I’ve already started Fluffy and I’m hear to tell you it is with almost pant wetting laughter (cross your legs!).
I was given a complimentary copy of this audio book. All thoughts are my own.
This was a great prequel for Fluffy. I have always loved getting the backstories of the characters and witnessing their chemistry before their relationship is established.
Little Miss Perfect was a fun, laugh out loud prequel to Fluffy, the first book in Julia’s Do-Over Series. It showed a small moment in time, 10 years prior, on the last day of high school. It gave a little back story of the main characters, Mallory & Will. My favorite line was “We’re hamburger in a tube. On sale. At Wal-mart” I died!!
Julia Kent writes about such quirky and loveable characters. This is a book that will have you laughing out loud.
This is a fun little novella that gives a little history between Mallory and Will. It takes place in the parking lot of their high school on the last day of senior year. It shows a little bit of the silliness you will see with Mallory, Perky and Fiona in their books. This is a quick, easy read if you want a bit of their before.
A must read either before or after Fluffy! Hilarious and explains so much. 😉
Little Miss Perfect is a cute novella that just sets the scene for more stories to come. It is the “meet-cute” for the main characters in Fluffy which I can’t wait to dive right into!
-4 Stars-
This was a great introduction to Will and Mallory. To see what the last few hours of high school was like for them, was an interesting way to start this series. This is a fun, and quick look into their lives, but it leaves you wanting more. Have Fluffy loaded up and ready to play, because Little Miss Perfect is just a tease of what is to come.
Erin Mallon is the perfect narrator for rom-com. She had me laughing out loud at some of the fun scenes with her narration. Ms. Mallon has a sweet voice to narrate Mallory. She has a smooth male voice and narrated Will as I imagined him, a typical high school jock. Ms. Mallon brought this story to life and left me wanting more.
This was my first book by this author but definitely not my last. This is only a prequel , so it is a short read but it really gives you a tempting taste of things to come in this series. Quirky, funny, sweet and heartfelt, this glimpse into the start of Mallory and Will’s story easily captures your interest and leaves you wanting more. This book has a single narrator which does a wonderful job. I felt that Ms. Mallon’s voice fit the character perfectly and a it made it super easy to get completely immersed and invested in the story. A simply delightful book.
“Little Miss Perfect” is the prequel to “Fluffy”, but can totally be read in either order. I actually listened to “Fluffy” first, so it was quite fun and entertaining to discover how it all started with Mallory, Will and friends at the end of their senior year. What a fantastic novella! It focused on a pivotal scene that sparked a connection between Mallory and Will, which gave insight into the depth of Mallory’s crush (just LOVED her quirky comments and inner voice reactions), and stirred Will’s curiosity as he assessed Mallory through her nervous awkwardness. The supporting characters are such a hoot, always adding that “extra” to an already laugh-out-loud rom-com. Erin Mallon was the perfect narrator for this book and this series. She gives such personality to every character, and knows exactly how to deliver on the funny, making it a hilarious tale from start to finish!

This is my first read/listen to Julia and OMG did I laugh out loud! I really loved this prequel about Will and Mallory about their last few hours of high school. Such a great quick funny read.
Erin Mallon does some funny rom-com and I loved her narration! I can’t wait to listen to her in Fluffy.

Quick and cute! Really enjoyed how funny it was. Could feel the chemistry. The narrator was awesome and did a great job on the voices. Can’t wait to read the next book!

Fluffy Book 0.5.
Mallory has had a crush on Will forever, but she never thought he would notice her back. On the last day of finals, both of them forget their books in the car and end up walking out together. As they’re chatting, Will notices Mal’s car has been glitter-bombed and decorated as a prank by her friends. Not only that, but Persephone and Fiona have also left a surprise behind inside the car. Will and Mal end up talking for longer that Mallory can ever remember and her wild teenage dreams run ahead to what could happen in the future.
If you’re looking for a cute story where the geek can get the jock, even for a moment, this is the book for you!

This is a quick prequel that introduced Will and Mallory. I’m glad I read this first gave me some insight for the next book!
This is a perfect companion to Fluffy. I read it before and it didn’t spoil anything. If anything it added a deeper love for Mal and Will knowing their cheeky banter started way back when.
It could be read as a standalone, but why the hell would you do that? The two together is too fabulous to pass up.
