Holly Lane has spent her life under the crushing thumbs of her cop father and controlling mother. Now, well into her twenties, she’s finally getting a fresh start and moving into her own apartment. Breaking away from her parents should be easy, but how can Holly begrudge their overprotective nature when their other daughter was murdered by an outlaw biker years ago? With his brand-spankin’ new … brand-spankin’ new patch, Little Jack has a satisfying life in the Hell’s Handlers MC. Sure, the town’s new sheriff is messing with his club, but it’s nothing they can’t handle. Life only gets better when LJ’s dream woman walks out of his fantasies and into the vacant apartment next to his. Holly is sweet as sugar, curvy in ways that make LJ’s mouth water, and the woman can bake like no other. Personal demons keep LJ from chasing a long-term relationship with any woman, but that doesn’t mean he can’t have a little fun with his hot new neighbor.
Holly is pretty sure life is finally on the right track when she meets LJ on her first day in town. Incredibly tall, bearded, tattooed, and strong enough to unload her car without breaking a sweat, her new neighbor just might be perfect.
With outrageous chemistry and a genuine liking for each other, Holly and LJ seem destined for an explosive encounter until a tornado rolls through their budding relationship in the form of Holly’s father. As the new town sheriff, her father only has one item on his agenda: eliminate the Hell’s Handlers MC.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Whoa buddy you need a fan before you sit down to read this awesome new MC romance!! Atlas has created one steamy yet fantastic new book. Holly is a surviving twin raised by really overprotective parents that adamantly hate any MC’s. She moves to a new town to be near them yet gets her own place. Enter LJ her new neighbor and newest patched member of the Hell’s Handler’s. This leads to all kinds of fights between the two worlds, lots of tension, and so much more. Add in the fact that LJ is a veteran with some severe PTSD, which is handled beautifully, and you get a book that you just cannot stop reading. A must read for fans of the genre. I totally loved this one so I give it 5/5 stars.
This book absolutely wrecked me! There were some parts I cried my eyes out, and some parts I laughed until I cried. There was a little bit of everything in this book, and it kept me on my toes. I absolutely love the Hell’s Handlers MC, and LJ and Holly just might be my new favorites!
Holly has an absolutely devastating past. Her childhood started out idyllic, but tragedy destroyed everything she held dear. Nothing has ever, or will ever, be the same. But she’s come to the realization that if she doesn’t do something to pull herself from the spiral she is in, she will never move past what she lost. And a new move just might prove to be what she needs. And who she needs.
LJ is everything that a MC member is supposed to be. He’s rough, tough, and secretive. His past is his own, and he deals with it in his own way. But Holly has a way of getting past his barriers, pushing him out of his comfort zone. Makes him want to be more.
I just couldn’t put down this book. LJ and Holly had so much against them, so many obstacles to overcome. It seemed that they would get past one hurdle and another would pop right up in their face. I really had my doubts that they’d be able to find their HEA. But I should have known that this author would never leave us (or them!) hanging, and they would always find their way to happiness!
What an emotional roller coaster. I just love this couple. They both fight hard for their relationship. LJ has demons that has got battle. They are each other’s rock. Their chemistry was sweet and hot from the start. I just love all these characters. I couldn’t pick a favorite. On to the next book.
Wow ! Lilly does it again ! What and amazing story and we loved it from the beginning to end .We love that this author always creates these wonderful characters each and every-time that we are bound to fall in love with and we did so this time around to as we loved Holly and LJ right from the very beginning.
Holly was bit of a firecracker and outspoken and so sweet and kind and so funny.Right from the onset of the story we new that she would be the perfect fit with all the other old ladies.
LJ – that man is sexy as sin and such a smooth talker and they way Holly described him sex on a stick and we totally agree.
Overall we absolutely loved it! LJ had been floundering a bit for months and dealing with some personal demons but, once meeting Holly it was like a switch went off inside him and everything changed for him but, like everything in life it was a uphill battle for both for himself and them as a couple.
We loved the fact that we saw so much change happen for Holly and as some would say really spread her wings for the first time ever and really started living her life trying to break away from a toxic relationship she had been in with her parents for a very long time.
The story was funny and had really great characters and those old ladies know how to make us laugh to.As always we loved that Maverick made us laugh with his antics and how he always seemed to be getting in trouble with his old lady and we almost forgot how crass that man is.
Grins….
Was this a typical story where the sheriffs daughter falls in with the outlaw heck know it was so much more and it had some very interesting twists and turns and a whole lot of lies and betrayals and we loved every minute of it.
This current story made a great edition to this on going series and we have to say LJ is definitely up there with some of our favorite MC characters now for the year 2019 and goes into our keep pile to read time and time again.
Little Jack has been through a lot to be a patched member of the Handlers. And if you’ve read the others in the series, you know some of what has happened to him. It seems it is time for him to find his HEA & conveniently she moves in next door. Holly is striking out on her own after years of complying with her parent’s suffocating rules. LJ & Holly are drawn to each other, too bad her overprotective pop is the new sheriff determined to bury the Handlers. Fast moving acting and great story.
I’m absolutely head over heels for LJ! Coppers book used to be my favorite but I’m pretty sure LJ just nudged his way ahead. He is exactly the kind of man I would dream up both physically and emotionally. He’s absolutely perfect and I felt so bad for him and what he went through because of his PTSD. Holly was also such a wonderful character to read. She’s so sweet and loveable and everything I wish I was as a female. Her story is devastating and I’m so glad she was able to become her own person. LJ and Holly both grew together in this book and they were absolutely perfect together. Lilly did such a great job with this story, I can’t wait for more!
This is the sixth book in the Hell’s Handlers MC Series. It is a complete stand alone, but you do see the previous couples in this as well.
LJ is now a fully patched member of the MC. We do learn about the issues he has because of his PTSD.
His new neighbor really flips his world upside down.
Holly is a really good person. But, she really didn’t have a backbone when it came ot her parents. I do like that she finally grew one.
What happened to her when she was younger, was horrible. The loss of a twin, I can’t even imagine. Especially with the way that Joy was murdered.
And then with her parents, and what they put her through. All because of a deep seated hatred.
I do wish we would have seen her meet up with Curly at the end. And I’m curious as to how her brother feels about everything that happened.
This is a very good read.
Omg. LJ was everything I wanted and more. I always wondered about him since he turned up as a prospect.
This book had so many twists and turns. Revelations I didn’t expect, that I wanted to scream and cry.
I loved Jack and Holly together.
I loved Holly even though I just wanted to shake Holly to make her see sense for ages.
I loved Jack he was supportive and loving even though he was battling his own demons.
I highly recommend this book and series.
Wow, Just Wow!!
Holly had lost her twin sister years ago after being kidnapped and murdered so her parents kept her under their thumb. Now with her family moving to TN this was her time to finally move out and start living her own life at 25 years old.
Holly was moving into her apartment when she first met LJ and he spent most of his day helping her lug her boxes up to her apartment. How could she be so lucky as to have this sweet, sex on a stick man living next door to her?!
LJ was an ex seal trying to live his life with PTSD with the Hell’s Handlers MC. With that being said Holly’s father just happened to be the new sheriff in town and had a real hatred for bikers. It didn’t matter that his daughter lived next door to one and was spending a lot of time with him. He was out to take the whole club down.
This was the first book in this series for me and it has me totally hooked. Ms. Atlas knows how to write a sexy MC romance with strong women and twists and turns you never see coming. I definitely recommend this book!!
I’ve read all of the Hell’s Handlers Mc books and enjoyed all of them and with each one I think “Wow, best one yet”. This book is no exception! Little Jack sheds incredible light on the horrors of PTSD that too many of our veterans suffer. While that isn’t the theme of the book, it does play a big part in the life of one of the main character. This book has it all, mysteries, murders, family, the bikers, babes, sexy situations galore and lots of angst to work through and cops you really learn to hate.
Read: 10/2/19
Little Jack was the sixth book in Lilly Atlas’ Hell’s Handlers series.
I loved everything about Little Jack “LJ” and Holly. They were two people who would never likely meet except Holly moved into the empty apartment next to LJ and the sparks ignited from the onset.
LJ had just patched into the MC and was as loyal as they came. He had some past military demons that he rivaled but was otherwise golden. Holly had grown up to dislike Bikers. Due to a childhood tragedy, Holly’s parents hovered over her, even at twenty five. She was ready to break free of their chains, live independently and grow her pastry business.
I enjoyed how Atlas took us through a friendship between LJ and Holly while also developing a plot around an MC conflict. It added depth and dimension; keeping the pages turning. The only downside was the numerous editing errors.
In the end, it was a quick, intriguing and entertaining read. Additionally, all of the MC characters were front and center displaying a tight bond, loyalty, humor, uber alpha protectiveness and sexy fun. It looks like Screw and Jazz are next with promise for another explosive story and I can’t wait!
Holly moves to a new town to be nearer to her parents, parents that are extremely overprotective of their daughter. Holly’s dad is the new sheriff with a hatred of MCs so when Holly starts a relationship with Little Jack, a member of the Hells Handlers MC it is definitely not well received. Will Holly finally stand up to her overbearing father and get to live her life, or will her father succeed in his efforts to destroy the club with his main objective being to take down LJ?
I loved this, it was such a good story it grabbed me and wouldn’t let me go until I had finished it. Lots of drama, lots of steamy times and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I give Little Jack 5 stars and can only hope there will be more to come from this world.
Lily Atlas has hit it out the ball park again with Little Jack. I swear she gets better with each book. Although you could read each book as a standalone it is recommended to read them in order so you get to see each characters from the previous book in the next book. I have to say that this one really did it for me because I love Little Jack. He has gone through so much in life that it has effected him. He served his country and now suffers from PTSD and has issues with getting close to others. That is until he meets his new next door neighbor and his heart decides it wants to change.
Holly has suffered a terrible life. She has lost her twin sister to a murderer at a young age. So her parents are very controlling and not to mention her father is a police officer who has taken a sheriff position in a new town. Holly has decided she needs to prove to her own parents she can live alone and be fine so she gets her an apartment on her own and when she meets her new neighbor her heart definitely knows what it wants and that is LJ.
But what happens when they find out who each other is see Holly’s father is the new Sheriff in town and LJ is a new patched in member of the Hell’s Handlers MC.
Wow!Wow!Wow! This book was one heck of a ride. The story spans years and takes one through so many emotions! Jack and Holly go through hell and back in this next installment of Hell’s Handlers MC. This series has been a total pleasure to read and this book may just be the best to date. If you are up for a wild, action packed and emotional ride, this book is for you!!! I cannot recommend it enough!! I do not want to tell too much, so I’m just going to say…. get your copy as soon as you can!!!
Rating: 4.5 Stars
Little Jack “LJ” has a whirlwind enter his life. Holly Lane wants to be out from under her family’s thumb. She wants to spread her wings and do something she loves – and make you hungry at the same time. They both have some real life issues and that’s part of the reason I kept turning the page – were they able to get past what may or may not be holding them back.
If you’ve read the other books in the series you may find, as I did, that they were hot but this one tips the scale. It’s not hard to see the chemistry our author has created. It bleeds into any scene where these two are in the vicinity of the other. The author makes them seem real even when Holly has moments of insecurity.
Some of you may not be fans of those in blue but just remember this is a work of fiction. The author does such a good job in the things they do here that it does seem real. Do I think the circumstances are possible? Sure. One thing I’m not going to do is believe is that they’re all the same or that my local law enforcement officers could possibly behave this way. But it’s one reason that I feel she’s really good at creating the world of the Hell’s Handlers. She also made me curious about one of our secondary characters, Jazz. She’s a good friend to Holly but I felt there was a story there and found I had the need for more.
Even with the suspense of what was going on with Holly’s dad, I was on the edge of my seat to see what was going to become of LJ and Holly. Now the author creates a great ending but it left me a little sad. I can’t figure out if another book is coming my way or not. Thankfully she has another series I can check out or I can read the books I’ve missed in this series.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
LJ served his country as a Navy SEAL he lost so much while he was serving it really has taken a toll on him which is why he normal does a hit and run act when it comes to women. But when he “Bumps” into his new neighbor Holly his hit and run act doesn’t seem like a good idea.
Holly is new to town and for the first time living on her own. Her father is the Town Sheriff and he has always had a strong hold over Holly since her twin sister was murdered when they were twelve years old. I have to say that I hated much of the police force in this town and when Holly’s father became Sheriff it really didn’t help matters.
The Hell’s Handlers Series can be read in any order, although it is meant to be read in order because prior couples do pop up in each of the books there is no running thread through them so each book can be read as a standalone. I have only read Zach’s book which was the first one, although they are all on my TBR list and a few of them are on my kindle waiting for me to get to them, and I was perfectly fine in not reading the book that was released prior to this one.
This story was more than just an MC Romance for me, I felt it was also a Military story as well as a survivor story with Holly’s background. Lilly Atlas did a wonderful job with Little Jack’s story, she showed us a part of the after effects war has on our soldiers that many of us do not get to see because it’s not something that can be physically seen. PTSD is a real factor for many of the men and women who have served but it’s not shared due to embarrassment or whatever but it’s something that can be as debilitating as loosing a limb.
Happy Reading!!!
This was a great book. I have read most all of Lilly Atlas’s books and would recommend her books.
