It’s hard to do the right thing. It’s especially hard when the wrong thing feels as good as Quinn does. She’s kryptonite, a bullet to the brain. The one girl Javi could never have. The one girl he could never resist. Four years and two fights with his best friend stands between them, yet Quinn’s presence affects him as much now as it ever did.Chasing her means trouble, both for him and for his band. both for him and for his band.
Unfortunately, trouble is Javi’s middle name.
Quinn and Javi’s journey is raw and real. As such, the book contains subject-matter that may make some readers uncomfortable.
Lithium Oasis is Book Three in the Lithium Springs Series.
A complete standalone novel.

Lithium Oasis will leave you wanting more.
Javi and Quinn will leave you feeling like you’ve just run through every emotion imaginable, but leave you wanting more and mourning that this is the finale of what has been a fantastic journey that is Lithium Springs. Bravo Carmel. You deserve a standing ovation for bringing us all on this epic journey.
What a perfect end to the Lithium universe. Ryder was the sweet one— the prince that stormed the castle and saved the princess. CT was the dark knight, the bad boy— and ironically the one I fell in love with. But Javier Santos… JAVI. I love him so much in a different way. Maybe because I saw a lot of myself in Quinn. Maybe because I felt his pain the most. Maybe because he was the most unsure of himself of the three and we watched him grow through the pages. Maybe because LS had hit it big by the time we learn his story so we watch him deal with pain and grief all with the spotlight on him.
And then there’s Quinn. Probably one of my favorite heroines ever. The sweet shy redhead with big dreams and an even bigger heart that gave it away and never got it back. She is one badass chick, and I loved seeing her come into her own. I loved seeing her not only ask but demand her HEA. I loved watching her take control of her own narrative and at times— his too because she loved him harder than he loved himself.
This story has the angst, the steam, the passion, the tears— omg did I cry. There are glimpses of the other couples (YAY!) and you see how the family has grown stronger despite all the obstacles.
I’m always in awe when I read her writing. How she paints a picture. How her words evoke emotions I didn’t expect. If I could give this book 50 stars I could. I already miss these six crazy kids but it’s safe to say she sent them out with a bang!
Javier, the Joker, the bassist for Lithium Springs, is the most adorable and messed up guy? Yes. Javier is a playboy, there is no doubt about it, but when he is introduced to Quinn, CT’s baby cousin, Javi just can’t get enough of her. Even still 4 years after their first time, Javi is still captivated by the girl interested in biology over fashion, interested in others’ well being more than her own, the girl with untamable red hair and a dark past.
Quinn, the Joker’s Puddin’, CT’s little cousin, the young girl with a sad past with a drive to make the future better. Quinn doesn’t get around, at all, until she meet one of CT’s band mates, Javi. The delicious bass player for Lithium Springs. After one night together she took a heart and Javi took hers without intending to.
While reading, I was constantly feeling everything that Quinn and Javi were going through. Feeling the heartbreak, jealousy, curiosity, and everything in between. They were each other’s kryptonite, but when they were together nothing could stop them, except for CT.
All the the Lithium Springs novels were wonderful, seeing how a woman could break down each of these wonderful men into nothing but love driven, in-love men. Being able to catch a glimpse of the other character’s lives after so long filled a hole, not even I knew was there.
This was a wonderful novel and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone interested in love, lust, rock n’ roll, and traditional Hispanic food.
Rhodes sucks you in from the very first few pages! *Squeeze *Pulse* *Thump*
The prologue is so strong, powerful, and deep.
As you get pulled into the story, even more, you soon learn that this story is more than just about Javi Santos, the bass player for Lithium Springs, the Joker. He has more layers to him. He’s not the person’s who’s painted on the tabloids and he’s not exactly who he lets everyone see.
Javi has issues too.
He hides it well behind the mask, behind his jokes, behind being the bassist, behind all of the money and fame. He was the one out of the three who was still on the path of trying to, find himself.
Then there’s the woman that came back into his life, Quinn Thayer. She’s sweet, smart, red-headed girl, CT’s cousin, and buried herself in her books. I did admire and love how she progressed and grew on her own, how she took control of certain situations, how she chooses herself, and what she thought was best Javi.
Especially when he didn’t see that at first.
Quinn was the one who saw him and accepted every bit of who he really was. She was always open, willing, and honest with him. Even when it was tough.
And she helped him see himself for who he was.
*****
I loved how we got to see the rest of the other couples! I loved seeing how much they’ve grown, have families, and all the fun times they got to share.
I’m also so glad to have invested myself into these books, into these characters! I love them so hard! She really wraps up the Lithium Series so amazingly well! Every time I read a story that Rhodes’ has written, I’m always blown away by the way she tells a story. She evokes so many emotions and passion through her words! Always steamy, angsty, and real!
This story takes you on an emotional ride and it is great to watch both Javi and Quin grow. It is a great ending to an incredible series.
Finally the last book of the Lithium saga!
Javi and Quinn are so beautiful inside and out, strong and fragile at the same time. You will fall in love with them, and cry with them (and I don’t want to spoiler more). It’s amazing to see all the characters that we met and love (CT ) in the past interact in this book.
Carmel Rhodes is growing in each book she wrote, and I thank her to share her passion with us!
“Are you sure you can handle my madness” only reading Lithium Oasis you will know!!!!
I love the lithium springs series. So sad to see it ending. Javi and Quinn have amazing chemistry. Can’t wait for what comes next.
This book will give you all the feels!!
I knew that when I had tears at only 2% in that this was going to be a special book. Carmel definitely closes out the series with a BANG! POW! SMASH!
I was expecting Javi to be different than he was but I so loved his character. He has definitely given Ryder a run for my favorite Lithium guy.
And what can I say about Quinn, there were so many times I wished I could just reach into the pages and hug her.
This book will make your heart squeeze, pulse, and thump all the way through. I cried, smiled, laughed and threw my phone down in anger. But the journey through Javi and Quinn’s story was so worth it.
I am so very sad to see the end of this series but I can’t wait to see what else Carmel comes up with.
The perfect end to the Lithium Springs series. No matter how perfect, I’m sad to see this series end. With each book, I fell in love with the characters. They’re all flawed and perfect in their own ways. Javi and Quinn put me on a roller coaster of emotions from laughing to heartache.
Perfectly written with just the right amount of drama, humor, and sexy as sin scenes.
I’m in love with Carmel Rhodes writing. The chemistry she makes you feel along with the amazing characters that you don’t want to let go of make for late night binge reads you can’t put down.
Carmel Rhodes does not disappoint she knows how to drag you in from the first page giving you a story more addictive than Javi’s stash.
This book gives you sadness, loss, grief, lust, scheming, jealousy, anger, love, sex, joy, sass, witty sense of humour, great friendships and all the gang from the first 2 books with new additional characters.
SOME SPOILERS
Javi loves his music but because he’s not doing a regular job like his brother, he feels like the oddball in the family. He plays hard on and off the stage. There’s one person he can’t get out of his mind, she’s the total opposite of his normal hookers, she’s also out of bounds, she’s CT’s little cousin. But he can’t help the pull he feels for her. She’s real, she’s shy but sassy and she can see straight through his BS façade. He wants all in with her, but would it be cost him his best friend and bandmates?
Quinn lost her mother at a young age, was taken under her cousin CT (Carter’s) wing. She studies hard, keeps to herself hiding in the background with her head in a book. Her life is quiet until Javi comes cavemanning his way back into her life. She shouldn’t have these feelings for him, it was only sex – twice, CT wants her nowhere near him, she sees him the real him hidden under his cocky Joker smile and she’s falling for him. For some reason he wants her with her nerdy glasses and oversized clothes, so would he be able to keep in in his pants with groupies and sexy women handing it to him on a plate?
Will Javi & Quinn get their HEA?
Or will fame, stupidity or friends destroy them?
I love this book and the series. It is amazing! CT is by far my favorite but I love the complexity of the story. I feel like it’s a little bit more serious in some ways than the other two books. At times I wanted to smack him and I definitely want to smack her.
Loved it! Now I want more CT and Kensie from CT POV!! Actually, I want more about them all but especially CT.
Lithium Oasis is not just the epic finale of Lithium Spring series by Carmel Rhodes, but also a wholesome stand-alone that covers relationships of all kinds. With developments in friendship, couplehood, brother-/sisterhood, and even parenthood, Rhodes definitely writes Oasis in a different level than other rock star romances.
Rhodes never disappoint. All the required hotness in romances, Oasis is, no doubt, hotter than ever. The heroin, Quinn, is brainy, defiant, and bold. Such combination makes the lethal attraction to the free-spirited bad boy, Javi. They seem as the opposites, but yet, under all layers, they have the most similar kind of love for each other and of compassion for people around.
Relationships are hard, and Rhodes never skimp on angsts in her stories. Neither does Lithium Spring series, but Rhodes always makes her characters work through the challenges. Reading their struggles in life would surely make you angsty and sometimes even mad, but the fulfillments at the end of the journey would be worthwhile. You’ll cry their cry and love their love. I’d come to love for this bittersweet kind of “tortures” again and again. With every work that Rhodes puts forward, you’ll want all those emotions to never end as well.
What’s more Tragic than finding the person you’re meant to be with but knowing you can never have them?
Javi the sexy as sin bass player of Lithium Springs and Quinn the brilliant Harry Potter loving bookworm that has become his obsession. Are they too different or is their connection strong enough to overcome the crazy groupies, distinguished doctors, and the objections of the man they both love?
Carmel Rhodes closes out the Lithium Series with a raw love story that will make you question everything you thought you knew about your own feelings and beliefs.
