Twenty-nine-year-old Lissy has a secret that destroyed her last relationship. She relaxes by playing with dolls. When her new boyfriend Dan finds out, she is terrified he will leave her. Instead, he embraces her little side and becomes her daddy. He even finds ageplaying friends for her to hang out with. Dan takes care of her no matter what trouble she gets herself into, and Lissy knows she has … has found her soulmate.
Yet, she can’t help noticing she’s the oldest adult little girl at her ageplay group. At almost thirty, she’s still irresponsible and impulsive. As Lissy’s birthday approaches, she worries that it’s time to grow up and settle down. Will they eventually have to give up their new lifestyle?
Note: This 40,000-word book contains extensive ageplay and spanking. There’s a little non-ageplay BDSM. Toys get played with. Bottoms get spanked. Bedtime stories get read. There are bubble baths with duckies. If that floats your toy boat, this is the book for you! All characters 18+.

This is my first Katie Douglas book and it won’t be my last.
Lissy is a little, though she doesn’t know that’s what she is.
To her, she is just an adult who likes to unwind playing with her dolls, something she is ashamed of after her ex finds out and leaves her, mocking her along the way.
When she starts dating Dan she does everything she can to hide that side of herself. But as fate would have it, Dan not only finds out about her secret desires, but also wants to give her everything she needs, including a Daddy.
I have read my fair share of ageplay romance and to be honest, a lot are lacking or are just there to shock the reader or with seeing how many times they can say “Daddy” on one page.
Thankfully that is not the case with Katie Douglas’ book.
Watching these two stumble and grow into a new world of DD/lg was something I would like to read more of.
I’ve said this before when I’ve read other Daddy/Little Girl stories; this isn’t my kink and yet there are so many aspects of the relationship that intrigue and fascinate me. Katie Douglas has presented Lissy and Dan with very real-life scenarios which put the world-building within my point of reference. Then gave Lissy and Dan such personalities, including their flaws, that made each of them relatable and easy to connect with. I fell in love with this story and am so glad a copy of this story was given to me. I’m proud to recommend this book and give my honest and voluntary review.
I am glad she finds Dan.
This one starts off with some harsh treatment by Ben just because he found Lissy’s toys. Just because she enjoyed age-play Ben thinks she is not normal. Ben is probably one of those guys that if he had a son it would be beneath him to get down and play cars. I am glad she finds Dan he is a good guy. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
I love to explore and expand my boundaries, and Katie does that in this age-play book. I can’t say I still play with dolls, but I still have them. My feelings were definitely touched. Lissy is struggling with her little girl proclivities. Heck, her last boyfriend left her because of this. Enter Dan. Yeah Dan! When love comes into play, anything can happen. I’ll leave what happens for you to read!
This was a quick read that had some really steamy scenes. It was enjoyable because of the fantasy aspect of having one of your Daddy Dom.. This was a well written book and it was very enjoyable. It gives you a different look in a relationship.
I thought that this was a cute read with a strong emotional edge. I felt that the doubts and fears Lissy had were realistic. I liked the relationship and chemistry between Lissy and Dan. I found it very refreshing that both of these characters had so much to learn and experience about what they wanted and what would work for them in the BDSM world.
Lissy doesn’t find anything wrong with the fact that she still likes to play with toys, but she does try and hide the fact that she does. How odd is it, a grown woman still playing with dolls? When her last relationship ended just for that very reason, she made a point of making sure that Dan wouldn’t catch her playing. But he did, and to Lissy’s surprise, he didn’t get angry, he didn’t storm out and didn’t demand that she stop right that moment. What’s more is that he embraced that and decided to go to a friend that he knew could help guide them with this new development. Can the two figure out a way to make this “little” thing work for them?
This was an ok story for me. I wanted this to be more about Dan and Lissy’s relationship, and this was more about Lissy learning and embracing being a little. If you are looking for a book about how to embrace, learn and accept the little aspect then this is for you. If you are like me and want more kink and naughty bits, then you will be disappointed. I give this 3 stars.
This was my first book by this author. It was an ok read for me. It was a quick read. The characters were ok. This book just didn’t stand out to me. This was an ageplay romance and that is what you are looking for, then this is the book for you.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
really enjoy reading age play books. And Katie certainly does a really tremendous job of it, her books are loveving and kind with tendernous which daddies most certainly are.
This is lissy and Dans story, lissy loves her dolls, but is rejected and called a freak by her first boyfriend, so sh e is hesitant ot tell Dan. Dan has caught lissy playing with her dolls which isnt a problem, so when he meets up with an old friend he invites tyhem along to a BDSM Club. That is where everything comes out and lissy slowly starts calling Dan Daddy.
Although I liked this book overall, I was not as in love with it as I thought I would be. Our lead female is a little but is confused about how long she can continue to be one and she lost a boyfriend over playing with dolls. Her new boyfriend is willing to learn about what it means to be a little and how to be the daddy in the life. It is a Dom/Sub situation but it is different and can be confusing to those not in the lifestyle.
What I had problems with was the confusion with our lead character who is the little. I kind of feel like she would have done some research on her own to figure out what she needed, if others were like her, etc. But it took the new boyfriend to do it. Maybe it comes from the sub part of her nature but I was a little put off with how clueless she seemed.
Dan was a really good lead male character who embraced what she was and chose to explore and find out what they needed to make the lifestyle work for both of them. It was a learning curve and he was great! He made a good “daddy” who was kind, considerate, firm and willing to fully give Lissy what she needed and found that through trying to make her happy it was a side to him he hadn’t known he was capable of or would truly get into.
Lissy has to learn how to open up to Douglas but she’s been burned once and has some understandable fears. But Douglas does a great job of working together to find a way that works for both of them.
I absolutely love this sweet book. Totally love it. There’s not a lot of sex in it, but there is a lot of love and passion, and in this book, that’s more important.
Lissy knows she just doesn’t adult right. She tries so hard to adult, but it feels like it’s a mask she is putting on. When her boyfriend finds her dolls, she ends up kicking him out of the house and tries to live without it. Then she finds Dan. When Dan finds her dollies, he doesn’t break up with her. Instead, he tries to figure out what she needs and how he can give it to her. When he talks to his friend Trent, they figure out that Lissy is a little. She has an inner little girl that needs to be cared for, loved, and cherished.
This book really is wonderful. It’s all about Lissy’s journey to figure out who she is and what she needs and Dan’s journey to help the woman he loves figure out who she is and their journey together as a couple. There isn’t any bad guy they have to fight, it’s just these two trying to figure out who they are and how to meet their needs together. It’s truly a beautiful love story.
A great age role play tender story. I really enjoyed Lizzy’s journey to truly express who she was. She thought something was wrong till she met Dan. She works hard mon thru Fri but on the weekends she just wants to be. Dan offers his love, protection and discpline loving her no matter what. An enjoyable sweet romance.

This book was really good. It gives you an insight of how Lizzy feels different but doesn’t quite know why or what her condition is called. Her old boyfriend really did a number on herself esteem and walked out calling her a freak. So now she’s with Dan, her new boyfriend who sees her play with dolls but doesn’t know why. They meet his old friend and his girl and then Dan and Lizzy start to learn the dynamics of a Dom/Little relationship. Great read, if you like age/play you’ll love this book.

I really loved Lizzy and Dan’s story. Especially how they didn’t know about the bdsm world and how they had to learn everything together and what worked for them. Lizzy’s little voices and whinning in her head makes me want to scream but at the same time I can understand what she’s feeling. It also leaves a big whole about the couple and wish there was just a little more to the book and what the couple does along with Trent and Lizzy’s friend. Either way it was a Really Cute book.

Lissy is a little who never realized what she was, after a life time of being made to feel that there was something wrong with her, she meets the man of her dreams, Dan, a man who loves her no matter what and who is willing and happy to explore his Daddy Dom side to give his babygirl everything she needs. His love, his protection, and his discipline. This story speaks to all of us, you may not be a Little, but we have all felt unlovable, We have all wondered if the thoughts we have are what others would consider normal, and we have all felt alone and lost at times. This is a wonderful love story. A great age-play romance and a really great insight into how we torture ourselves instead of loving who we are. I can’t wait til the next book, cause this one, ROCKED!!!
I have to admit that age-play is not my particular kink, but I picked up this book because I was intrigued and wanted to explore a bit. And it turns out that I am very happy that I did so.
The story was well written and the characters are rather endearing. This is an exploration and discover for both partners as they discover what they need individually and as a couple. There are bumps along the road, but that is true of almost any relationship. But it was the characters’ ability to learn and adapt that made the story memorable.
While not a short story, it was still a fairly quick and easy read. Come for the romance and perhaps learn a bit about how the other folk live.
Recommended.

Lissy likes age role playing but her last boyfriend did not. Now that she has met Dan with reluctance she lets him in and is pleasantly surprised that he indulges her. They have great chemistry and you see the caring and tenderness that Dan has for Lissy. Great read, and well put together.
