Lisa is an attractive, successful, and recently engaged woman. Her life is planned out for her. She should be happy, but isn’t. Something is missing from her life but she is unsure what. Until a meeting of the eyes; a meeting of chance in a restaurant. Now she knew what was missing. The feeling of a deep and passionate desire and love to last a lifetime. Patrick is a man who appears to have it … to have it all. Good looks, money, a job he loves, and women whenever he so chooses. Never looking for a consuming desire, let alone love. Until he notices her and then he can’t take his eyes off of her. Or later get her off of his mind.
Can Lisa go against everything she was raised to believe in for two nights of the passion and desire she is craving? Can Patrick watch her go?
Little did they know two days downtown would change them both forever.

Love Lisa and Patrick’s story, the chemistry they had with each other was so captivating. It was an amazing book RK. Can’t wait for your next book.
As I write my review I will not tell you about the story, because I want you to read it, but I will say what a fantastic story RK Hawthorne wrote. For his first book it is amazing. Lisa is a very strong lady and you will enjoy seeing her grow. Enjoy reading.
Finding Love in Unexpected Places…
Let’s end the year with beautiful words and new stories to be told. This debut author will capture your attention with his gorgeous story. What a beautiful read, from the very first word to the last word at the end – passionate, sexy Intensity & smokin’ hot with touches of dramatic angst and humour. Lisa’s Conversion will involve betrayal… but it’s her journey to deal with the lessons she will experience. I’d like to think that as we gain experience, we gain a better understanding of ourselves, what makes us happy, our desires, our passions. Choices made aren’t always easy, they can be difficult but with loving support – the relationships built are beautifully nurtured into completeness. This is the dilemma facing Lisa.
A life that you’ve lived for family, to please and honour them, yet you feel somewhat dissatisfied, unfulfilled. Pressured under the weight of family beliefs and expectations. Can we reach out and find love in unexpected places? To experience and feel that amazing capacity of love, care and intense desire, to find that passionate love.
Can someone special literally step in to your life unexpectedly and the world as you knew it, is tilted, forever changed, consequences be damned. A lingering glance that escalates into so much more. Lines are crossed, boundaries blurred, to pursue an attraction that will scorch the depths of your heart and soul. Decisions are made as you follow your heart and silence the doubts and guilt that weigh you down. You finally live your truth with wholehearted passion but does it come with a cost?
I found the tempo of the first few chapters felt hurried and desperate, which certainly worked with the instantaneous awareness and that inherent need to pursue their passion. Then… the tempo of the story shifted in a good way. Filled with a tantalising, romantic beat, the story turned into the building up of intense desire and heated passion – a seduction of the senses, mind and body. The story became words that you felt.
RK gives you an astonishing debut story in Lisa’s Conversion – Lisa and Patrick share their journey, their intensity and chemistry. It’s an attraction that burns from the first catch of the eye. The heat becomes an inferno but is it at the cost of guilt and at the expense of others? A journey of self discovery, angst and intense passion with minor twisty curves to keep you guessing, and to keep your fingers turning pages.
RK… WOW!! For your debut novel, you have knocked this out of the park. It’s honest, raw emotion. It’s edgy, it’s pure sexy intensity, erotic heat and drama filled with risky conflict and turmoil.
I look forward to more stories from this talented author.
Side Note: Then you find that secondary character (Shelly) that just gives you beautiful and humourous honesty. You fall in love with them dearly.
ps: (hint) Shelly needs her story told 🙂
