SURRENDERING TO MY SPY:Lady Rosanna Kendall fell in love with the wrong man. He informed her that he never intended to marry, and even if that changed, she’d be the last lady he’d choose. Shortly afterwards her eldest brother died in a freak accident sending her into mourning. During that time she picked up the tattered remains of her heart and hardened it. One day she’d marry and have a family … a family of her own; however, love would be the last thing she’d expect to find.
Lord Dominic Rossington, the Marquess of Seabrook worked diligently as a spy for the war office. He led a dangerous life that had no place for a wife or family. He couldn’t in good conscience encourage Lady Rosanna–even if she was his greatest desire. Years later Dominic sees a way to free himself of his obligations to the crown and finally claim the one woman he’s always wanted. All he has to do is complete one last mission and convince her she’s the only one for him.
Can they both survive his dangerous life long enough to find their happily-ever-after?
SPELLBOUND BY MY CHARMER:
Zane Rossington, the Marquess of Seabrook is disillusioned and bored. He doesn’t believe in love and lives his life the way he pleases. All of it changes when he finds a mysterious woman roaming around his conservatory at his annual Regency themed charity masquerade ball.
Lady Callista Lyon, the Countess of Marin had one desire–revenge. In the act of finally achieving her goal she is swept over a terrace and somehow finds herself in the conservatory at Seabrook Manor. Uncertain if she succeeded in her revenge, but determined to finally move on, she does her best to adapt to her new life.
In the midst of chaos and uncertainty, can Zane and Callista discover something in each other they both believed lost to them?
STOLEN BY MY KNAVE:
Nothing is quite what it seems…
Lady Elizabeth Kendall grew up on whimsical tales told by her mother. What if they aren’t stories at all? Visions of a handsome pirate in a mirror create questions about everything she believes. The biggest one: Is time travel possible?
A pirate who would be a duke…
Jackerson Morgan Carwyn, the Duke of Whitewood hasn’t led the charmed life some believe, and in fact, grew up in the worst parts of London. Except it was a different time and it’s a secret only he knows. Until he meets Elizabeth… She is far more than she appears to be and has information he believed long buried.
A battle of wits…
Through a chess match they make a bet—the winner claiming all the spoils. As the game comes to an end they are left with a choice. They either decide to be together or destroy any chance they may have at happiness. Will they accept fate’s decision or ignore all the signs that brought them together?

SURRENDERING TO MY SPY is the fourth book in the Linked Across Time series.
SPELLBOUND BY MY CHARMER is the fifth book in the Linked Across Time series
STOLEN BY MY KNAVE is the sixth book in the Linked Across Time series.
Though I had not read the previous three books, I was not at all lost. I do hope to go back and get those ones and catch up.
SURRENDERING TO MY SPY
In this series, the first thing you have to keep straight is which century you’re in. Surrendering to My Spy is set shortly after the Napoleonic Wars. The second thing you’ll be looking for is who is doing the time traveling. Nope, not telling you! I will say that is neither of the main characters this time, but that the character that does travel is important to the overall arch of the series.
Lord Dominic Rossington, the Marquess of Seabrook, was being noble; Lady Rosanna Kendall didn’t know and took his rejection to heart. That is just the beginning of their miscommunication.
I love romance, spies, miscommunication, and historical settings. This story was wonderful with just the right amount of suspense and mystique.
I love that Dom had already decided that it was time to come clean with Rosanna and to properly woo her. I hated that she had the childish habit of eavesdropping, but I can understand it in the male-dominated world in which she lived. I loved her kidnapping and rescue – this was the most important part of the book.
SPELLBOUND BY MY CHARMER
Spellbound by My Charmer is set in the 21st century. Zane Rossington is a descendent of Lord Dominic from the previous book and the current Marquess of Seabrook. Lady Callista Lyon, the Countess of Marin, has traveled from the French balcony she fell off of in the 18th century and landed in the marquess’ conservatory.
This was a lot of fun to read with Callista learning about and adapting to the new century where she has found herself. Luckily, the first person she meets is the charming and handsome owner of the mansion. One glimpse and he is smitten with the unusual intruder.
I love that they are each capable of bringing something more, something positive, out in the other. Isn’t that the best that can happen in a relationship?
STOLEN BY MY KNAVE
Stolen by My Knave is set in the 19th century. Lady Elizabeth Kendall has known about Captain Jack Morgan since she was a child. After all, her mother, Alys, has told her stories about the pirate who kidnapped Elizabeth’s grandmother, Evelyn, in the 17th century.
I love the twists of who is from which century and how are they related. In fact, that is very important to the plot of this story – since Jack is Elizabeth’s half-brother. I love how the author resolves the worry about how Elizabeth and Jack can have their happily-ever-after.
I love how headstrong both Elizabeth and Jack are. No, it’s not lost on me that these are the same names as are used in Pirates of the Carribean. In fact, Jack Morgan is quite a bit like Jack Sparrow.
The three of these books are all fun, romantic, quick, and quirky reads. I will be keeping my eyes open to read more from the series and the author.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

I know when I pick up a book by Ms. Brower I am in for a treat. This boxset is no different. Three wonderful stories linked together through a time travel thread. The stories are all filled with intrigue and suspense and pull you in from the very beginning. You will not want to put these books down until you have finished. Ms. Brower knows how to weave an engaging tale with romance , mystery, and humor all rolled together. I am not much of a time travel reader, but after reading these books, I may have just found a new genre to read! This is an awesome boxset that’s sure to keep you reading well into the night. A definite must have for those who love romance, suspense, and if course time travel. I urge you to pick it up!

SURRENDERING TO MY SPY:
WHAT i LIKED: I love the overall concept of the story of spies, intrigue, kidnappings, a touch of time travel, danger, espionage, murder, revenge, unrequited love and romance. An excellent storyline.
WHAT i DID NOT LIKE: Some of the characters lacked substance. Why is it that the lead female character is confused and addle brained when it comes to love? As the book states “She was a confused ninny” and had a curiosity of a ten-year-old that caused her to eavesdrop when she ought not to. It does not seem the lead male character is so afflicted. I don’t mind anyone feeling vulnerable but for heaven sake do it so dignity and intelligence. Not in an arrogant mishish type of way. Rosanna’s character deserves better. It does not seem right that her sister in law is a progressive forward-thinking confident woman but Rosanna is not even half as much empowered. The lead male character’s personality and life need depth. It felt too shallow as I read about it. The only characters I had no problem with were the twin brothers. They felt real and down-to-earth in speech, deed and action. There is room for improvement.
SPELLBOUND BY MY CHARMER:
Well, the story moves at a quick pace. A lot happens in a short amount of time. Very Interesting but too short. It felt rushed. There were so many avenues this story could have taken and what was written was not enough to satisfy my curiosity. I did enjoy the overall story, I just wish there was more time devoted to the lead characters lives.
STOLEN BY MY KNAVE:
I feel this is the best book in the series yet. I was enthralled from the beginning. Page after page the excitement and intrigue could be felt. I loved all the characters. The main female lead seemed a little spoiled, calculating and demanding however she had a heart that was full of love and kindness. The lead male character is definitely swoon worthy. Even though this is a quick read I found it completely satisfying my romance needs. I do recommend this book.

A well written set of time travel stories, that I will be reading again. The stories are SURRENDERING TO MY SPY= Lady Rosanna Kendall and Spy Lord Dominic Rossington, the Marquess of Seabrook’s story. Then there is SPELLBOUND BY MY CHARMER= Lady Callista Lyon, the Countess of Marin and
Zane Rossington, the Marquess of Seabrook. The last one is STOLEN BY MY KNAVE= Lady Elizabeth Kendall and Jackerson Morgan Carwyn, the Duke of Whitewood. They have suspense, drama, danger, and romance. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
These are interesting time travel stories. They are interconnected involving neighboring families. This was a unique twist to the stories. The romance and intrigue kept me reading. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
In volume two of the Linked Across Time series we get three historical time travel romances each well written, with intriguing characters and HEA’s. Here’s a review of one of the three stories in this book.
Spellbound By My Charmer:
I recently realized how much I love time travel romances and this author writes some of the best I’ve read. In this book we go from the past to the future when the Callista, the Countess of Marin who disappeared in 1818, shows up at a Regency themed ball thrown by Zane the Marquess of Seabrook. He has always been fascinated by his ancestor’s diaries so when he sees Callista he’s thrilled to find out more about her. This is an intriguing well written story with interesting characters, revenge, mystery, romance and twists that pulled me into the story.
I loved all three of these romance stories with great characters, romance and intrigue. Each story was different and of course had a HEA.

I know that I have said this when I have reviewed individual books from this series but it bears repeating. This has got to be the best time travel series currently available!! I love how each book has a main character either going backward or forward in time and how the author does not have only the females do the time traveling. The men get to do a good amount of it also! It is always so entertaining to see how the men adapt to the different time periods they end up in. The women somehow seem to do a better job at it than the men do, probably because women have always had to adapt to change all throughout history much more than men have? Ms. Brower always manages to infuse humor mixed in right along with the elements of danger and suspense and gives the female characters a good deal of backbone and intelligence! They certainly always need it too! If you are a lover of time travel romantic suspense do not pass up this series because you will be missing out on true gems!!

VOLUME TWO gives us three wonderful time-themed stories: Surrendering To My Spy, Spellbound By My Charmer, and Stolen By My Knave. Below is a review of one of the stories to give you an idea of what you will find in this wonderful collection.
*** Reviewing “SPELLBOUND BY MY CHARMER” ***
Lady Callista Lyon, the Countess of Marin, looked around the ball room at the fancy clothing and elaborate masks. The Comte de Dreux hosted the best balls, but he was the man responsible for ruining her happiness, responsible for killing Edward, her fiancé and the first Duke of Weston, and she would make sure he paid for it. When she confronted him, she pulled out a pistol as they moved to the balcony. He tried to grab it from her as a shot rang out. At the same moment, he pulled out a knife and stabbed her. He went over the balcony and, as she was caught up in the curtains, she also went over and passed out.
Callista’s fall brings her forward through time to Zane Rossington, the Marquess of Seabrook, on the night of his charity ball held in memory of his mother. But Zane was getting tired of the balls and hosting the annual fundraiser. He headed to the conservatory for some peace and quiet, but a bedraggled woman stumbled toward him, her gown torn, her hair a mess. Limping, bleeding and obviously hurt, she needed his help. Her accent and more formal speech caught his attention. Zane had been reading his ancestor’s journals and eventually suspected she may have possibly time-traveled. Does he know who she is? Will she be the one to remove his boredom and give him a reason to enjoy life again? But when will they discover someone else was thrown forward in time as well, someone who could be a danger to her?
I absolutely loved this story and the characters the author brought to life for the reader. The signature touch of humor that I love so much was there in the dialog, and it draws the reader right into the story and into caring for the characters. Grab your copy and enjoy the three stories that are well-written and full of intrigue. There will have twists and turns to entice you – but will our heroes and heroines find a HEA or a bad ending to what may have begun 100 or more years before?
Love Across Time
Surrendering to My Spy —May contain SPOILERS so you may want to skip to next review.
I felt sad for Rosanna, Dominic I believe should have handled the situation differently. I can’t marry you now because I’m a spy for the war office so I’m gonna lie to you to keep safe. And by the way I’m not going to share this with you. Then to have her brother die due to the same danger. Only to have her get mixed up in said danger he was trying to keep her safe from. Honestly I do enjoy this trope and Dawn Brower has done a great job of it. Loved how Dominic and Rosanna’s love came full circle.
Spellbound by My Charmer
I read this one a few months ago. I enjoyed the storyline but I stand by my opinion of Callista
I didn’t like her the first time and I still didn’t like her this time. Knowing what I did from reading it before I really tried to like her. Knowing she was from the past and she was a spy. Nope I just couldn’t like her. I liked that she came from the past to present day. I think she was just to full of herself.
Stolen by My Knave
This one was also a repeat read for me. Captain Jack and and Elizabeth are two of my favorite characters. I liked the use of the mirror for both her vision of her future and the hint at someone else’s. Good read.

Surrendering to my spy
An exciting mystery. Lovely characters. Ties to a previous book, characters out of time, great backstory for the next book. A steamy scene.
Spellbound by my charmer
I was very happy to see that Callista was getting a happy ending after experiencing so much pain and getting her revenge in the previous book. This book was unlike anything I was expecting. It was shorter but still good and added a lot to the previous book and built up a lot to what I’m hoping the next book will contain. A steamy scene.
Stolen by my knave
This 6th book wasn’t the story I was hoping for, but know when we finally get Trenton and Eve’s story it’ll be worth waiting for. I have not read her first book of the series that this Captain appears in, but I think that the prologue does a good job of giving us a brief summary. I definitely wasn’t expecting this story to be about Alys’s daughter. Definitely a surprise And I wish I had read the first book before this one. There is mug I feel that I would understand better about the interactions. However, all that aside, I really did enjoy this book. It built a lot on the past and gave hints to the future.

Love these interconnected stories about time travel. A twenty first century woman goes back in time to the 1800’s. A pirate goes into the future to the Nineteenth century, and a Nineteenth century lady goes to the twenty first century. These stories are all inter connected as they deal with two neighboring families. The Duke of Weston and his family and the Marquess of Seabrook. Married into each family both past and present. Fun romance with a mystery to solve. One man in the twenty first century is trying how time travel works so he can find his lost love, and couple in the 1800’s might be able to help him.
