The war for a kingdom has just begun.Battered and battle weary, after dismantling the ruthless Assassins’ Guild, Mercy and Tamriel triumphantly return to Sandori. It is well past time to free the slaves and bring justice to the elves. When their trusted general unexpectedly betrays them and usurps the throne, Mercy, Tamriel and their most loyal allies are forced to flee the capital with little … capital with little more than the clothes on their backs.
Branded enemies of the crown and hunted across the country, Mercy and Tamriel must venture beyond the borders of Beltharos, if they are to have any chance of overthrowing the traitor and reclaiming the throne. Against impossible odds, they must find the strength to raise an army of their own…or lose the kingdom they love forever.
Limitless is the fifth and final book of the Born Assassin series, with over 500 action-packed pages of betrayals, battles, court intrigue, and forbidden romance.

Sorry, short and sweet.
As I’ve said all along , this is such an awesome fantasy adventure series, it’s beyond description.
You need to read this book, this series.
It’s so intense and exciting. I was so captivated with it that often I’d loose track of the time.
I’ll miss it so much.
I totally recommend this.
What a great way to end this series!! I loved every word, every page of it, I just couldn’t stop reading. It’s really well written, with twists and turns and you just have to know what will happen next. I already loved this characters, but I fell even more in love with them in this book, because you get to explore more sides of them and go deeper in their relationships.
Having the perspectives of both Faye and Percival was so great, allowing us to explore their perspectives, their lives and see them finding hope on the midst of chaos!!
Mercy and Tameriel have come such a long way, and I think the way that their relation has evolved is not only just beautiful, but inspiring and true, their love is not just some fleeting thing, is a really powerful being, strong and hopeful, inspiring not just their friends and kingdom, but anyone who reads this books. The way that they stick to each other, through hell and back, the way that they find strength in each other to face all the adversities, is the thing from which great stories and great history are made off. I feel so proud of them!
Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!
After reading this I feel beyond inspired and hopeful.
What a fitting ending to a superb series! After that cliffhanger at the end of book 4, I could get to book 5 fast enough! Betrayed by the very person who swore to help, Tamriel and Mercy are in a mad scramble to flee, to escape from Nicholas and the soldiers he turned against Tamriel. With no more allies, Tamriel has to venture into enemy territory, to try secure aid from his biggest foe. But court politics rears it’s ugly head and as Tamriel tries to navigate through, I’m delighted at how his character has grown. All the challenges, all the betrayal, all the headache that he and Mercy face, they face as one together with their friends. The friendships and bonds are simply sublime, the support and loyalty they both have, bring a warm feeling through my entire body. I love the how Jaqueline gives one a chance to come off the adrenaline high, pacing the battles, the drama and tempering them with heartening normal life scenes.I love the depth and scope of this tale and the characters, from the very beginning, to the very end, so rich and diverse. Their joy, their loses and their pain resonates throughout, so very believable. And a turn around Klaus makes! Totally awesome! I love this side of him, especially with Faye. The final battle was so thrilling I could barely catch my breath. Each character has grown with each book to my utter delight and new characters introduced were just as delightful. It’s such an intricate story, yet easy flowing, full of amazing twists and so well spun, that by the end, I felt just as delighted by their success as did the characters. This is a series not to be missed
