I am glad that even though it wasn’t great when it happened that Lily was able to leave her previous relationship and living arrangement and find something so much more. I liked that Sam was watching Lily and there to help her. I also liked their relationship it made this a good read.

This story was about a young lady named Lily who had this lovely voice but she needed encouragement from her BDSM relationship to help her grow. Lily had been in a relationship with this man named Trent who was a Daddy Dom. He was not a very good Dom and she knew from their time together that he was not the right Daddy Dom for her but she didn’t listen to that voice inside of her telling her, he wasn’t the one. She was working as a waitress in the restaurant and she didn’t make much money and so she lived with three other people to make rent. She use to sing at this club called the Burgundy and she stopped because she had lost confidence or the will to do it. So her Dom breaks up with her over a text, that tells you something about him. So after she finishes her shift at the diner she goes home to change because she had schedule for herself to sing at the Burgundy that evening because they had open mics. She goes into the apartment and finds the two of her roommates in the living room drinking with a hint of smoke in the air. She decides then and their she was not going to spend the night in her own apartment because she didn’t feel safe. She gets her items she needed to do her gig and decides she is going to find somewhere else to spend the night. Her other roommate Ashley had left her a note saying she would help her out. She goes to the Burgundy early and finds out from Jordy who runs the entertainment that she was scheduled to go on early instead of 10 p.m. like she thought. This is where Sam comes in. Sam is rather wealthy and is a Daddy Dom and had come to the club looking for her. She didn’t know that he had been watching her and that he wanted to get to know her better. His excuse for coming to her tonight is to help unite her with her friend Ashley. So the story continues. It turned out to be a pretty good BDSM story.

Lily is a little one. She needs someone to help her back on track after her daddy/dom dumps her on a text. She lacks self confidence and is willing to be exploited with her boss Donny. She decides to move out of the apartment to get her life back on track. She needs a place to crash but never
believes that Sam would be her new Daddy/Dom. This is a great read.

This is loosely connected with the other books in this series in that the girls know each other and the men do too. Definitely a stand alone. Lily has had some hard times recently. Her roommates are awful and the man she thought would be her daddy dom dropped her via a text! But her luck is turning around. She meets Sam and he is very interested in her. This is cute novella and I recommend it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
