♥ A disinherited earl♥ An animal-loving debutante♥ A scandalous love triangle♥ An unsolved murder♥ Steamy romance!
Another heartwarming romance featuring New York Times bestselling author Lauren Royal’s “outrageously funny, loyal, compassionate, and unconventional” Chase family!
Rescuing animals is an unusual passion for an earl’s daughter—but compared to the rest of her family, Lady Lily … compared to the rest of her family, Lady Lily Ashcroft is downright conventional. Though she fell for dashing Oxford professor Lord Randal Nesbitt at the tender age of sixteen, she buried her feelings in deference to society’s expectation that her older sisters marry first. Four years later, her sister Rose has set her sights on Rand. And with two sisters locked in a tempestuous love triangle, scandal can only be around the corner…
When Rand accepts an invitation to stay at the Ashcrofts’ country house, he has no idea what he’s getting himself into. He’s been nursing a secret affection for sweet, compassionate Lily ever since their first meeting. But bold Rose is just as beautiful and shares his academic interests. Now he finds himself caught between two lovely sisters—the one he’s expected to wed and the one who’s captured his heart…

In this delightful historical romance, Lily and Rand fall in love in a matter of weeks (well, technically Rand has been in love with Lily for four years, but let’s not get nitpicky!). While Lily first holds back because she promised her sister Rose not to compete for Rand’s heart (that was before she knew she cared), Rand knows from the very beginning that Lily is the one for him.
Ultimately, this is a love story of two people overcoming outward interference and obstacles placed in their path by others, holding on to their love in the face of great opposition. At times, their quest to be married seems doomed, and it appears only too easy to give up. Still, Lily and Rand also have wonderful allies on their side. Rand’s friend Kit as well as Lily’s family are thrown in the mix, their unique personalities and delightful interference bringing a lot of humor to this at-times heart-wrenching story. Kudos to Lily’s parents! Loved them!
Highly recommended!
Lily Ashcroft & Randal Nesbitt Journey to HEA was Absolutely Wonderful, Amazing & Romantic.
I am so Happy to read how a small Young Lady Lily could handle all the Mastiffs owned by Rand’s Father.
Unfortunately Rown, Lily’s Brother didn’t have much lines on this Story. I really enjoyed his & Jewel’s characters on Violet’s Book.
The Story was still Fantastic.
Great addition to the series!
Enjoyed Lily and Rand’s story. They are so perfect for each other and I really liked visiting with the entire Ashcroft family again. My only complaint is that the story is VERY long and after awhile I just skimmed through the numerous lovemaking scenes, particularly between Lily’s parents which just seemed repetitive and didn’t seem to further the plot.
Lily is by far my favorite book in this series. (Perhaps it is because my granddaughter shares the name of the primary character) more likely because I love the bond the sisters share even if it means denying their own hearts leading.
I find the physical depiction of desire and a shared bed vastly more entertaining than reading about the historical accounts of lust shared with brutality.
Loved it! Named my kitten Lilly.
Liked it enough to buy more in the series. It stirred my curiosity enough to see how the lives of the rest of these slightly eccentric characters evolved.
Found interesting
Love all the books in this series. Great characters and historical perspective
A little Long but good so far.

I enjoyed reading “Lilly”. It was a great romance with lots of wit and great characters. At times it dragged a bit, but overall I would recommend this book.
