It’s never too late.
Father Tim Kavanagh has been asked to “come up higher” more than once. But he’s never been asked to do the impossible-until now. The retired Episcopal priest takes on the revival of a mountain church that’s been closed for forty years. Meanwhile, in Mitford, he’s sent on a hunt for hidden treasure, and two beloved friends are called to come up higher. As Father Tim finds, … higher. As Father Tim finds, there are still plenty of heartfelt surprises, dear friends old and new, and the most important lesson of all: It’s never too late.

I really love the characters and their relationship to God and how they follow the truth of the Bible!
5 star. I love these series of Father Tim.
lol of the Jan Karon books are terrific, I can’t read to read the next!
I will read anything Jan Karon writes and am always waiting for her next book.
Father Tim and all of Mitford feel like family and the stories within the story are all heartwarming and just make you forget about your troubles for awhile
Love these stories. Love the characters. I want to live in this world.
These Father Timothy books never disappoint! I love how he and his wife Cynthia so effortlessly change people’s lives. The stories always have everyday situations in the lives of people that they seem able to turn around. Their joy of everyday life is contagious and teaches us to appreciate every moment and experience.
If you have read any of the Fr Tim books you will enjoy this book. Some new entertaining characters, slightly varied locations and many friends from the past. Just not for a first time reader of the series. Lovely visit with old friends is very nice during Covid when we don’t get many visits from friends.
I just reread this Jan Kroon book. I have read the whole series through the years. I plan to reread all of them as I enjoyed Light from Heaven so much! This series is lightly, but realistic and potent Christianity, woven through many stories that all resolve and flow together.
I love all the characters in the Mitford books.
Fabulous book!!! You must read the whole series once I started I could not stop till I read every book. Then I still wanted more!
A definite must read but start at number one!
I love this author’s books. I love the characters especially Father Tim! Is is easy to read and hard to put down.
I love the story and the recurring characters. Very wholesome and uplifting. Good to find people you can identify with and enjoy.
Jan Karon never disappoints with the Mitford series. The characters, every one of them, come to life in each book & you feel as though you know them.

This is a re-read for me
This one is all about finding peace, being content (BLOOM where you are planted!!) and trusting completely in God and trusting the prayer that NEVER fails (Thy will be done). And believing in the answers that come your way no matter if they are what you wanted or not!!
Still made me …
It is a “feel good” book. I always hate for them to end.
It is always a pleasure to visit my friends in Mitford.
Love these books!
This Series is warm and endearing with a set of characters you’ll love. Jan Karon’s books are best served with a cup of coffee and a cozy blanket.
My wife and I listened to the entire series together as audiobooks.
