Odd but good!
I found this book as well as the movie to be evocative and multifaceted. I loved the varied perspectives it could be seen from – tho my cousin, who all things animals was horrified and refused to read the book or see the movie. I found the movie to be true to the book!
This book show us about clever how we did when we have problems
One of my all-time favorite books, Love it on many levels
Did not like this. Boring.
Loved it.
strange
My absolute favorite book
You’re still unsure of the end choices. Very original
I loved this book.
I really thought that this was overrated
Wonderful story.
The novel leaves the reader with questions that are enjoyable to contemplate.
There is no way to describe this book in any detail without spoiling it for the reader. It’s a “once-in-anybody’s-lifetime” (including the Author) book and anyone with an imagination should NOT miss it.
Very, very, different.
A wonderful, original and life-affirming novel.
I absolutely loved this book. The writing was excellent, and the main idea so implausible: a tiger on a boat with a boy in the middle of the ocean. At the same time, if it never happened, it brings forth an imagination of how it would be, and what tools the boy uses to keep the tiger at bay. I loved the descriptions of the animals in the zoo, …
I couldn’t get into this book. The characters were unrealistic, and the symbolism was irritating.
This is one of my favorite books of all time. I find myself referring to it frequently when I am talking with others about What-Does-It-All-Mean? Jan Martel managed to slip the most profound existential questions into a fascinating adventure story.
A favorite.
