Took too long to get to the main plot and wasn’t particularly interesting once it got there
I like this because it is fun
don’t let anyone tell you anything about the book before you read it; the surprises are a big part of what makes it so enjoyable
One of the best books I’ve read in the past 25 years
wierd
Loved this book until the end. End ruined the whole wonderful experience.
This was a story I have never, ever forgotten.
That’s a good thing.
a great read that keeps you interested all the way through. The young Pi is cool kid but has a lot to learn.
Amazing book. We especially enjoyed listening to it being read.
Interesting story that kind of went in circles, with dreams and reality mixing , leaving you wondering which was which.
I loved this book. A great commentary on life.
I could not put this book down. I became so involved with Pi, and NEEDED to know what happened to him. The ending was bittersweet, but I felt like the author did a good job of tying up a lot of loose ends and questions I had. I also liked how the author interspersed his own experiences among the story. HIGHLY recommend.
Couldn’t put it down. Much better than the movie.

Throughout part 2 there are other representative movements of a loss of innocence, besides the symbolic one of bringing Richard Parker onto the lifeboat. The most …
I Absolutely loved Life of Pi.
Very well written. Something you would not expect that would actually happen.
It’s been so long since I read this book, but I do recall enjoying it. I mean a tiger in a boat? What’s not to like, after the tragedy, of course, of how they got stranded…
Life of Pi does exactly what I abhor, it tries too hard to be deep and profound and fails spectacularly. This is the only instance for me where I have preferred the movie over the book.
Excellent, hard to figure it out.
