Awesome read.
Great book. I read it at least 5 years or longer. I also saw the movie, but even though the movie was good, the book is even better. I won’t go into the ending, because there is a ending like no other. Loved this book!
I found this survival story unique and compelling. I highly recommend it. I did like the movie, too, but (as usual) I liked the book better.
An entertaining book you will not be able to put down! I am a avid reader and I have NEVER read anything like this! WONDERFUL Book! I will not reveal the plot as you must read it!
Great premise, well written, entirely worth reading…..
Suspend your beliefs and take the journey. It’s quite a ride!
An amazing, incredible journey. Can really mess with your mind at the end.
All time favorite
This book is unique to say the least, but I do not look back on it fondly.
I first heard about this book from a friend who said it was weird. I read it anyway and absolutely loved it. I have read it twice and listened to it on Audible once and seen the movie twice. It’s an incredible story and full of surprises. Just don’t expect the usual.
excellent, well written
Love this book! Read it years ago and had the audiobook on a road trip with my teens — perfect!
Could not handle the story line re: the animals
I would be surprised if there is anyone who does not know about this tale, either through the book or movie. As a reviewer, I can tell you that this is an amazing story, in the real sense of the word.
Not my favorite genre: allegory.
It’s one of my favorites. An interesting and unexpected thrill ride.
People in my reading groups ended up split on the meaning by the end.
Magical.
Well written but I’m not a fan of fantasy.
I’ve recommended this book and even given my copy to friends.
