I’m currently reading this book and I can see what most of the hype was about. It’s pretty good.
I found this novel several years ago. It was so original I couldn’t put down. A young boy finds himself on a boat with a tiger. Needless to say this book kept me entertained.
One of those books that stays with you long after you finish reading it. Belongs on the bookshelf of all who appreciate great writing and unique stories.
You need resolution, but don’t want the story to ever end. An unlikely, yet essential relationship builds the most surprising story of survival
Well. I don’t know what I feel about this book. It was interesting. It took me a FREAKING long time to read it (for me). I had trouble getting into it at first.
It is a grand story though. Makes you believe 1. in the impossible and 2. when the reality is presented, makes you not only believe but EMBRACE the impossible.
I think this one will …
Like everyone else, I loved lIfe of Pi. Loved the boy, loved the tiger, loved the scary little boat world. And the movie was the most beautiful thing ever, with the best use of 3D imaginable.
Loved this book so much that I read it again and again just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. I always find something new to think about!
Amazing story that brings you into a world unlike any other. The characters come to life in this thrilling book of raw survival. Have read it many times and will read again.
Very imaginative and colorful adventure of a young boy. The question remains: What adventure was it?
Unusual story but very well done. Highly recommend.
It took me forever to get through the first 100 pages. I trudged. I trudged. (Right or wrong, I finish 99.99% of the books that I start.) Once I got to page 100, the book was a breeze to finish. I later understood. The first 100 pages were the foundation for what followed. A good, if tedious, foundation. It was worth it. Who would want a beautiful …
I don’t believe that my reviews should rehash the plot of a book.
That info is easy to find. I spent a lot of this book confused, but the writing and story was such that I was willing to go along for the ride. The last third of the book was a bit of a let-down, but I still think the book is well worth reading.
Loved the book. It was interesting and thought provoking

I had trouble at first. Contained words and animals of which I am not familiar. However, it grew captivating as it went along. Because it was gross in parts, I would not recommend it to a teenager. All though, I liked that it was a good read without sex and violent hatred.
I absolutely hated this book. I finish reading every single book I read knowing they could always get better, but I could NOT do it for this one. I would give it zero stars if I could
I couldn’t put it down. Great story.
Original, adventurous,imaginative,exciting,etc…
This book was a revelation to me. Truly one of the wildest feats of literary imagination that I’ve come across. So the main character ends up in a lifeboat with various exotic animals (which is a bizarre enough situation on its own). But throw in the fact that one of them is a grouchy tiger named Richard Parker and it becomes a book that’s very …
The end is a shochet
