Solid 4.5
This is a very emotional read especially with the way Silas says good bye to Olivia as it conveys just how much he loved her and wanted her to find her feet again once he passed and open her heart to love once more. The fact he pushes her outside her comfort zone when all she wants to do is curl up and mourn him is great as it is obvious he knew her so well. We go through the highs and lows with her as she slowly moves through the grieving processes and follows Silas wishes for her to do fun and adventurous things as well as see how much her friends care for her. The only thing that irked me in the book was the village she visits in New Zealand and this is due to the fact I don’t know of any village we have like that here in New Zealand it would be more likely to come across this type of village in the Australian outback as some Aboriginal tribes keep to their traditional ways. I moved on from that easily and continued to read the book thoroughly enjoying it and feel like every book just gets better in this series!

After reading quite a few books by Kelly Moore I have to say I liked Life Goes On the best so far.
It was a great story very well written. I can only congratulate Ms. Moore for writing this book.
I loved the immense love Olivia and her husband felt for each other. I loved how he wanted his wife to be happy. I loved the journey Olivia had traveled to find herself.
It was a great book and I’m glad I read it.
Olivia has been through a terrible tragedy of losing Silas, her husband of 17 years. Her friends help her get through a series of tasks that Silas left her to do to help her move on after he died. This is a need tissues read but so good. A truly wonderful read.

Just, WOW!
It’s not very often that a book can make me really cry, but let me tell you, this one hits you hard! I cried, I laughed, but this book is not a “drag you down and then kick you” kind of story. It’s a total love story. One of the rare kind that the very fortunate few can honestly say that they have or have had.
This is a story of complete and total adoration of another human being that’s not a child. It’s also a very heartbreaking story of a true love lost and the resistance to the expectations of one moving on after such a devastating loss. The reader is definite captured by the intense emotions this story creates and also by the uplifting freedom is brings as well.
I love how intuitive this couple is to each other throughout their relationship, especially at the point of Silas creating the videos to help Olivia adjust to his absense. He knows her so well, he anticipated her reactions from the moment he passed so she could still had a connection to him when she needed it the most.
When I finished this story, I felt like I had run an emotional marathon, but most of all, I felt that I had learned a valuable lesson in human nature. This author has phenomenal insight into human emotions and reactions. This is a wonderful and fulfilling journey! I loved it!
She soon learns Life Goes On…even when you don’t want it to.

A must read for 2019!! Author Moore has a way of shattering your book reading soul and somehow manages to put it back together again to find love and joy. This is the story of Olivia and Silas McDill, married 17 years and still very much in love. Silas becomes ill and dies. Shit becomes real after that and the journey of absolute sorrow and gasping for air grieving begins. This book had me crying both sad tears and also happy tears as Olivia goes on the journey, with Silas’s help, to live again and find love a second time.
Truly emotional, sweetly sexy and engaging romantic journey filled with love, loss, hope and laughter. This story had me up all night, I just could not put it down. The love how beautifully sad it starts out then slowly fills you with warmth and hope. Great read.
The North Carolina Mountains started out as a vacation spot for Silas and Olivia McDill…but actually became a pit stop on Olivia’s healing journey.
This incredibly written, heart-wrenching, deeply written goodbye/love story by author Kelly Moore, was so amazing. Olivia is sent on a journey, with the prompting of her dead husband’s videos, to find peace and how to learn to let go, live, and find love again. He knew he was dying but didn’t want to ruin the time they had left, so with the help of their best friends, he sends her on a mission…once successful, she discovers a new video he has left her…leading up to Silas’s friend, Clay, who he did guided tours with.
This was such an emotional story. There was love, laughter, death, tears, heart break, finding one’s self, just…wow…everything. A very powerful story, during which I found tears welling up in my eyes and flowing down my cheeks, that I feel blessed to have read. The other characters in this story, Noah and Charlie (Silas and Olivia’s best friends), Clay, Silas’s parents, Murphy (Silas’s dog)…they were all such wonderful additions to this story.
Overall, I absolutely LOVED this book and will whole-heartedly recommend reading!
A good story that at times have some sadness to it.great characters and terrific storyline. A must read!
An emotional, raw, intense story. I absolutely loved reading this story. A definite must read. Once you start forward this amazing book you will not want to put it down x

Such an emotional journey! Kelly Moore writes the journey that others have taken. Silas and Olivia have that once in a lifetime love, you can feel their happy ever after. Then one day it wasn’t!
This is a well written book of self discovery, heart wrenching, emotion tearing, how can i go on thinking, and in the end being content with all that has happened and will happen and eventually knowing that, Life does Go On.
An easy to pick up, but hard to put down novel. Grab a drink, a box of tissue, find a quiet place, get comfortable , this is the read of a lifetime.
This read is a hard and emotional one. Olivia and Silas’s Love each other even after seventeen years of marriage. Their Life is like a fairy tale. Every girl wants to live that kind of Life.
But one moment and this ends… just like that. Nothing will be The same ever again. You have to learn to live with that. On that way, Olivia will are Her late husband in Many videos that were supposed to help Her on Her way to make The Life to go on.
It was a beautifully written story about finding Love when you are not looking for it and when you least expect to find it.
Make sure you have plenty of tissues on hand during this read. Kelly Moore takes us on another epic journey of love, loss, grief, laughter and learning to love again when all else seems lost. The story of Olivia, a woman who loses the love of her life as she goes through the stages of grief but she has help through her best friends and an unlikely source, her deceased husband, Silas.
A story that had me crying throughout but I also found laughter through my tears as we get to know Silas and his epic love for his wife and all he did/does to see his wife through the grieving and sets her free to love once more w/o any guilt.
True and selfless love is what I found in this story as well as a woman who had her HEA with one man, gets to experience another HEA with another. A story that gripped my heart, a story that flowed beautifully, a story full of hope that when all seems lost, life goes on, whether we want it to or not.
What an amazing book ! My Kelly Moore’s favorite book now ! Took me days to get over it and still in linger in my mind and heart! This beautifully written book was so emotionally packed that I had to close it a few times to take a breather and stop crying. I was blown up with emotions and I could not just put it away until the end. It’s a wonderful journey in the life of a very sad and heartbroken woman filled with multitude of mixed feelings and humour. Bravo to Kelly; it was one of the best book I’ve read in the past year and it touched me deeply. A must for readers who want to ‘’feel ‘’ while reading and those who need a story that will show them that yes indeed, life does go on !
I absolutely loved Life Goes On and I wish I could give it more stars because it was that great! Silas and Olivia are the perfect couple. I loved the way they met and how much they loved each other after years together. And then I cried…Silas and Olivia’s story brought me to tears. If you read one book this year Life Goes On should be it. This book is about love, loss and life going on. Fantastic story!
The tears won’t stop falling. This was such a sad story but I was soooooo good. I cried sad tiers for most of the book. And then I cried happy tiers for the last part of the book. I loved these characters and I almost wish there was more of their story left to tell.
