I couldn’t resist Lucas. One sidelong glance, one sexy smile and I was his. But before I even knew what was happening, I was in way over my head… my heart hurt every time I look at Lucas?
Why does my pulse pound when we touch?
Why can’t I go a single night without dreaming about him?
Sometimes when he looks at me, I think he knows I’m falling.
Sometimes I think he feels the same.
I worry that he can see straight through me almost as badly as I hope he does.
Pretending that Lucas is mine isn’t hard. Remembering that he isn’t will be.
Lie with Me is a standalone fake-relationship romance featuring a bold alpha hero who’s about to meet his match in a feisty, smart-mouthed heroine.

A fantastic, emotionally driven romantic comedy. Lucas is an app developer that has agreed to sell his dating app to an app company. Rae has been tasked with being the middle person between the company she works for and Lucas. Soo Rae agreed to help Lucas win back his ex girlfriend but as the charade continues, feeling become real and hearts hang in the balance. The storyline of trying to win back an old flame while stumbling into real and true love was so amazing. Add to that the antics of Lucas and his friends and Lie with Me was hilarious but had so much heart. Readers will fall in love with Rae, Lucas, and his friends as well as meet new characters in the group. A must read that readers will not be able to put down. I can not wait to read the next book in the series.

Lie with Me (Lone Star Lovers Book 3) by Taylor Holloway is a Contemporary, New Adult, Romantic Comedy. An enjoyable, funny, hot read with a good story. The characters Rae and Lucas are lovable, they belong together and their chemistry was steamy. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
An inconvenient merger becomes an acquisition of the heart. Holloway has a gift for creating flawed characters with more pride than sense. For Lucas and Rae emotions were never part of the equation. He needed her help to win back an ex. She needed his app to help her business. Their deal seemed a convenient solution until emotions got in the way. Lie With Me goes beyond the foolish pride and delves deep into the flaws that make us human. Holloway makes it easy to fall in love.
Amazing heartwarm well written story. It is captivating from first to last chapter. Great storyline and plot. Likeable characters that have a great chemistry and are passionate. I like she is strong and a woman that gets the things done.
A fake relationship that brings more than the characters expected. It is sweet and has the right amount of steamy scenes to make it an enjoyable and engaging read.
I found this to be a very enjoyable read. An entertaining story-line and great characters keep your interest extremely well.
Watching the evolution of the relationship between these two was a treat. Add in drama and steamy passion and you have a good read.

** spoiler alert ** Rae is determined to do what she can to make it as far to the top as she can. Lucas comes up with a plan to win back his ex-girlfriend, a fake girlfriend. Never expected feelings to factor in. Will Lucas choose his ex or Rae? Will Rae be able to save Lucas’ business?
After reading about Lucas in previous books, I was excited to get his book to get a little background on him. I have to admit half this book I didn’t like him just because it seemed he truly didn’t care about her feelings and was only worried about the best way to get what he wanted. I didn’t blame Rae for being scared and unsure, but determined to get her job done and then loved when she was willing to do whatever to help him despite what was happening between them. Good read!

In this book we meet Rae Lewis and Lucas Stevenson. Rae really needs this buy out to go right. But from the get go things go wrong. She and the team she is working with have their boss drink a soda with a bee in it. The bee stings the boss who is allergic to them. She then has to play nurse on the fly which make her an hour late to the meeting. Lucas can’t help but appreciate the way she is just so personable. However he needs more than just to sell his company he wants his ex back. He wonders if he can kill two birds with one stone, Rae. Can these two really find all they want or will they find the more time they spend together the more their wants change in ways they never expected?
This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don’t want to ruin any of the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
An exciting fake to real entertaining story that is well written and nicely developed. The storyline is interesting and full of little twists and turns for Lucas and Rae. I loved these characters in this engaging story to make an ex-girlfriend jealous.

This is the third book in the series but reads as a standalone if like me you enjoy a good fake relationship romance then this may be for you. Lucas and Rae were wonderful characters and were so good together. They meet when she is sent in to buy him out he agrees to let her company but his firm but on the condition that she pretends to be with him to make his ex-jealous enough to come crawling back to him. But what should be a win-win situation soon changes when they more time he spends with Rae the more he wants her and can’t stop thinking about her. This was a fun sexy read and I enjoyed it.
So awesome! What a great book. I could not put it down! Can be read standalone. I cannot wait for more!

This book is a blast! It starts out with a bang and continues on from there. It was also incredibly well written keeping my attention from the get-go. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
They are both lying to each other and he needs her to pretend to his girlfriend so he can win his ex back. She will do it only because she wants something from him. Easy it should be but easy it will not be. See how it will all go

A very interesting and good story that was well written. A lot of happenings in this novel with a whole cast of characters that were all clearly described and brought to life within the context of the story. The love story and romance of the two main male and female characters was fraught with angst, drama, industrial sabotage, work harassment and sensual scenes. This reader thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel and plan on checking out the other works of Ms. Holloway in this series. The hope is that next up will be Jason and Wendy’s story.

This was such a wonderful story. Very well written with great well developed characters. I really like the romance genre of fake relationships and this one has shot to the top of my favorite list. I was fully engaged from the beginning and loved reading every page of the story. Even though this is a full length book, almost 300 pages, it reads like a novella because it flows so well and you become so engrossed the pages practically turn themselves, making it feel like the story is shorter than it really is. I highly recommend you give this one a spot on your must read list.

The story was great and the characters were so well detailed that my attention was grabbed from page one! The chemistry between Lucas and Rae was off the charts and I really felt that these two belonged together!
