This book was awesome. Harriet Blue is my favorite character. I couldn’t put this book down. James and Candice are a perfect match I love this series. Looking forward to the next release. Everybody should read this series.
Patterson has done it again given us a character that not only interesting but one who is a Detective and also a wanted fugitive looking for Reagan a man who not only killed a family member but also a mother and daughter. Enjoyed the twists and turns of this book. I received a ARC copy of this book.
As usual, Patterson’s/and whomever books are an easy read. I love the short chapter format that he began years ago. Makes it easy to ‘stop’ in a good place without having to back up to remember where you left off.
That being said, this book was a little disappointing to me. Harriet Blue is a very ‘rogue’, unpredictable, hard person to nail down. She gets into many dangerous and unrealistic situations only to persevere and make a way out. If she really was a LEO, that department would have put her down like a dog with some of the things she does in this book. However, it does make for a very interesting premise of a female officer being somewhat over the top energetic, neurotic, almost psycho killing machine. The ending left a hook…..We will be seeing more of Harriet Blue and what seems to be the only friends she has (Pops, Tox, and Whitt) in more stories.
On to the next one….
Harriet Blue is my favorite fictional character. Can’t wait to get the next in the series.
A good read
It was easy to read had a lot action
…another Patterson book. Mildly interesting.
Great book
Really enjoying the Harriet Blue series. Looking forward to the next one!
Not One of Patterson’s best- too many characters to juggle and keep track of . The ending of the book was the best part of the book
James Patterson should be ashamed to put his name on this book. The book is not worth a review and the ending is horrible. I cannot believe Patterson reviewed this book before or after it was published.
I really love this new character. Also the setting in Australia opens a new world for me.
Not very good. Too bad James doesn’t write his books any more.
Almost Boone else writes as good as this author. I’ve read all of his books and look forward to all his new ones!
Patterson is a true genius. A wonderfully imsginative writer that keeps you coming back for more.
Harriet Blue is seeking revenge for Regan Banks, the man who murdered many women – but left clues making it seem as if her brother was the killer. Harriet is on the run from her own police department. The story is dark, and puts Harriet in many dangerous and seemingly unrealistic situations.
The ending is a cliff hanger, so there will be another Harriet Blue adventure.

It was a good book not great book, I did not like the ending
Patterson always delivers a fast paced great story!
Like many Patterson books, it starts slow and builds quickly. Harriet is gritty, determined and relatable to anyone who believes that theiy have been wronged. Crisp and realistically written.
Always great
