When tattoo artist, Liam O’Rourke, meets a hot new ink model promoting a sexy calendar at an LA tattoo convention, sparks fly. Liam admires Velvet like every red-blooded man in the convention center. The way she moves, her sexy pinup look and a body to die for; what man wouldn’t want that? She seems so strong and confident. But it’s the look in her eyes when she meets his that has him … lightheaded. They hold a vulnerability that defy the sexy pose and call out to him. That look awakens a fierceness in him that has him wanting to protect her. She’s the beauty to his beast, and he can’t forget her.
After an incredible night together, she vanishes, leaving him with nothing but questions, only to reappear in the last place he expects to find her. She’s gorgeous and irresistible, but she’s also hiding something from him. Liam must decide if she’s worth the risk if he’s going to save her from her past or lose her forever.
Velvet comes from a family of con artists. She grew up learning all their scams. When she was fourteen, her mother forced her into traveling from town to town, with Velvet playing the leading lady in the longest running con her mother ever pulled.
She’s fought to put all that behind her, until she crosses paths with the one man who left an indelible mark on more than her skin. Velvet remembers Liam, but fortunately he doesn’t recognize her, because there’s something he doesn’t know and she can’t risk him ever finding out.

Liam was another terrific installment to the Brothers Ink Tattoo series. I love these four brothers. Jameson has Ava. Max has Malee. And now Liam has Velvet.
Liam meets Velvet after a convention and is awestruck by her tattooed beauty. Velvet is a pinup girl for a calendar. The two have an immediate connection and attraction towards each other and waste no time in doing something about it.
The thing is, Velvet comes from a whole different world than Liam’s, and her past winds up coming back to haunt her.
I felt bad for Velvet because of the stigma associated with gypsies as being nothing but shady swindlers. Velvet is a genuinely good person despite the fact her family has done nothing but use her. When she was an underaged teen, her mother had forced her to get inked as a way to con tattoo shop owners into paying her off just to shut her up. That very scam hit Brothers Ink Tattoo not long after it was established by Jameson. And now, her brother is using her to move money acquired from his drug dealing and business scams.
Liam and Velvet sure have a lot of anger, resentment, and lack of trust to work through. But when they do, it’s magnificent. Together, they bring out the best in each other. Liam is smokin’ hot, swoon worthy, bossy, and an amazing lover. He’s so protective of Velvet’s well-being and supportive of her dreams.
Liam had everything: sexy times, suspense, plenty of banter between the brothers, and a great storyline. I highly recommend this one.
Liam is book 3 in the Brothers Ink Series by Nicole James. This new series will feature Brothers Ink owner Jameson O’Rourke and his tattooed strong brothers Maxwell, Liam & Rory from the most popular tattoo shop in Grand Junction, Colorado. Nicole introduce a little of this 4 sexy strong Alpha men of in book 4 and 5 of the Evil Dead MC series when Crystal worked in the tattoo shop. This is the story of Liam and Velvet, their chemistry between Liam and Velvet was off the charts. They met at an LA tattoo convention where she’s promoting a sexy calendar. They have an incredible night together but Velvet is gone in the morning without a goodbye or a note. Fast forward and she appear again in the last place he expects to find her. She has secrets! Liam must decide if she’s worth the risk ! NO Spoilers!! A must read!!I can’t wait to read Rory’s book. I highly recommend reading this series from Nicole James.
The O’Rourke Brothers are back and it’s been way to long!! Liam and Velvet are a great couple, complicated, well written, have unbelievable chemistry. This book weaves an interesting tale of betrayal and redemption. I love all these books and this is a great addition. Rory’s up next..can’t wait
When Liam first sees Velvet he knows hes never seen another woman like her. When he runs into her again in a bar he thinks he’s hit the jackpot, but when Liam wakes up alone he knows his luck has run out.
When Velvet ends up in Grand Junction courtesy of her older brother she runs into Liam again and he convinces her to take a chance on them. She just has to keep him from finding out her biggest secret. Sooner than she can imagine Velvet is all alone again and she’s in worse danger than ever.
“I don’t need you to save me—I just need you to stand beside me while I save myself.”
Can Liam and Velvet have their Happily Ever After, or will her brother and his goons keep them apart forever? A definite 5-star read, I was so excited to get back to Grand Junction and Brothers Ink! Nicole Jameson crafts an amazing story with suspense, wonderfully steamy, fun, sexy times, beautiful tattoos, and a loving family that is always there for each other. I’m already itching to get to Rory’s story!!
Liam was a quick and gratifying read. I liked the hero and heroine, his family, and the setting. The antagonists and the conflict they presented added to the story and made the happy-for-now finish very rewarding. My only real issue was the numerous errors: “you’re” instead of “your” FOUR times, horse color described incorrectly, “her” rather than “he,” and “drug” used in place of “dragged.” I really enjoyed the first two books and look forward to the final one, as well.
Another outstanding addition to this series! Liam be and Velvet’s story drew me on from the beginning and pi didn’t stop reading till the end! Cant wait for Rory’s story!
WOW!
I loved this book! I love Velvet. She’s strong and loving, and she over came so much. Liam is the best. This book is my favorite from this series! It’s a must read!!!
