I met Luna Marshall when I was seventeen. She was a force of nature that I wasn’t ready for.She was gravity and I was caught in her pull.Powerless while she held me in a world I was desperate to escape. They say you never forget your first love.I believe they’re right.I’ll always remember the sound of her laughter. The way she whispered my name when I touched her, and the taste of her on my lips.… when I touched her, and the taste of her on my lips.
I’ll remember everything.
Including the look of pain as I walked away.
Letting You Go is Book one in the new romantic suspense series Stone Lake. It will continue and conclude with Book 2 When You Were Mine.

Wow! All the angst! I am so in love! Luna and Gavin’s story had my emotions completely out of whack! I am a beautiful mess! That cliffhanger was BRUTAL! I need part two right now!! FIVE STARS!!
Luna and Gavin’s story will have you going on a emotional rollercoaster with them. It ends on a cliffhanger hanger that will have you screaming nooooo I need more! You’ll definitely be rooting for Gavin and Luna and your heart will be bleeding for them. They are really different and have different home lives. But that doesn’t stop them from loving one another. But it does cause people hate on them and cause problems. I absolutely love Gavin. They definitely deserve a happily ever after together and I can’t wait to see what Jordan has in store for us. Definitely recommend.
I received a advanced readers copy and I’m leaving a voluntary review
„Because in that moment, nothing else in the world mattered.
Nothing but us.”
Jordan Marie writes such beautiful stories that simultaneously fill and break your heart that you just can’t resist them. And even though you are aware that the end will be drastic and will probably make you want to throw the e-reader against the wall and pull your hair out, you give in to the spell of this author and you absorb every word like a sponge. And Jordan Marie is a unique enchantress. Her prose is one of the most beautiful I have ever read. And with Letting You Go she confirms that she’s second to none when it comes to playing with reader’s emotions.
Opposites attract. Luna and Gavin are the best example of this. She’s a good girl who comes from a good home, with loving parents. He’s a bad boy who lives on the wrong side of tracks with the drunk of a father and barely makes ends meet. But love doesn’t choose and the world has decided to connect these two with a beautiful and strong feeling. The feeling they have to fight for from the very beginning. But are they able to win the battle that has been doomed from the start?
Letting You Go is an intense story about the power of young love and the sacrifices we make for it. Jordan Marie has combined here sweetness with bitterness that perfectly reflect the realism of the situation in which our heroes are. Feelings are tested, secrets take over, and unfortunately the conclusion will have to wait. But despite the horrible suspension, I recommend this story with all my heart. It will fill you with all possible feelings. I’m completely blown away and I’m waiting for the 2nd book with bated breath!
Bravo, Jordan!
Have you ever waited for something and after finally getting it you go really slow because you want it to last as long as possible…well this was me for Letting You Go. I would read two chapters and force myself to put it down because I knew once I got to the end I would have to wait for book two. Did I tell you I’m horrible with waiting…. so with that said I need book two now!! I need Luna and Gavins HEA, I need to see his horrible father and evil brother get what they deserve and I need to know who….. you get my drift. So please Jordan don’t make me wait too long!!!
Loved this book. You are pulled inti Gavin abd Luna’s story from the start. Looking forward to the next book in this series
Young love, opposites attract, and choices are made.
A YA story with more, with every emotions, decision are made.
This story pulls you in, takes on emotional journey back to your first love.
“Lost to this moment. Lost to this man. All sanity given, offered to his willing hands. Because in that moment, nothing else in the world mattered. Nothing but us.”
I’m utterly speechless when tasked to describe how much I enjoyed reading this story. I was there, with the characters, feeling what they felt, utterly lost to the words and all the feels that came with it. Gavin and Luna circled each other’s orbits until they couldn’t resist, and what came next had all of the beauty and crushing heartache that often comes with young love, and so much more. Coming from different worlds and facing so many obstacles would seem daunting, but the Author ups the ante and swirls in a riveting, and nail biting twist that held me captive until I inhaled each and every word. The Author expertly leads you with breadcrumbs, then throws another jaw dropper at you before you’re even done reeling from the first. I absolutely did not want this to end. Keep in mind, this is a duet, so you won’t have all your answers, but you will not forget the story anytime soon, so you’ll be eager for the next book like you’re starving for air. Fresh, exciting, addictive, and going to the Top Reads of the year list, I am insisting everyone reads this one. I thank the Author for providing a copy to review.
“Pulling back, I gazed up at her face, at the girl who’d been my everything. My greatest love. My greatest sacrifice. Now, I was giving her everything.”

Wow! This is amazing! From the first time we met Gavin I knew I’d love him. Gavin and Luna are special! Even though they are young they share something so intense and true that I couldn’t get enough of them. There are some twists that kept me on the edge. This story has angst and mystery. I cried and I’m anxiously waiting for more. A must read!
So, first off, this book ends in a cliffy. I hate cliffhangers….usually… But man, I freaking loved this book! I seriously couldn’t put it down. So fantastic, and I’m in love with gavin. I cant wait for june!!!
4.5 Stars
Luna and Gavin’s was an deep felt emotional story that had me all over the board with feelings. Attie was a multi-dimensional character that had me wanting to scream throughout this book. Jordan did an amazing job keeping you involved and wanting to flip through the pages. The cliffhanger left me reeling, I can’t wait for When You Were Mine…
Letting You Go- three words that don’t seem like a lot but in reality are huge, absolutely enormous!
Gavin Lodge is infatuated with Luna Marshall and she feels the same way however there are so many obstacles in their way it’s unbelievable, yet believable at the same time. Boy from the wrong side of the tracks with the girl from money in a small town trope is not an easy one, so therefore believable but throw in a mystery murderer and you have one heck of an interesting story.
You can’t help but like both lead characters and want this to be a sweet romance for them…it’s so full of ups and downs it’s not funny. They are a fantastic couple together with great chemistry but more importantly such deep regard and respect for each other.
I felt like yelling, “No!” on the night of their senior graduation! The emotions this story pulls from you are strong and varied. This author certainly takes you on all the emotional rides of the fair; the roller coaster, merry-go-round and helter skelter are just are few where you might feel immense joy one minute then incredible fear or sorrow the next.
Fair warning this is book one
Is it too soon to say that I need the next book ASAP!!! Luna Marshall and Gavin Lodge are destined to be together Luna has been crushing on Gavin from the first time she laid eyes on him. Gavin noticed Luna as well but never approached her due to their social status. Luna lives in a nice neighborhood with loving parents. Gavin and his younger brother lives on “the other side of tracks” with an abusive, drunk dad. Fate and love pulled them together but lies & tragedy will bring them to a crossroad. Will love conquer all? Time will tell…YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK!!!
Oh my goodness…I don’t even know where to start. First this story deserves so many more stars than just 5. I absolutely adored Gavin and Luna. Both as individual characters, they were fantastic and together it was magic. This story has it all… sweet, angst, steamy, and mysterious. There were parts where I really felt the characters emotions and it literally gave me chills reading it. I cried right along with the characters. And then the end…. because there is a cliffy…. but gosh, this story I think is Jordan’s best and that’s something because I’ve loved her others incredibly lol. There’s just something about this one. And there’s more coming from these 2….i can’t even imagine what magic is coming next.
This is Book 1 of 2 books, so fair warning. The second book is coming fairly quickly I believe so won’t be a long wait. This is more of a teenage love story so far, but it looks like the second book will advance 13 years or so in the future. I liked this story very much. The main characters were interesting and Drew you in. The secondary characters were interesting as well so made for a great book. Jordan Marie is a fantastic story teller and although this story is a bit different for her, it was really good. I highly recommend!
