Wow! This was such an emotional book. I haven’t read many books by this author but I am amazed at how well she portrays her character’s emotions. I think I went through an entire box of tissues. Both the characters were grieving for a loved one with the holiday season upon them. Charlie Evans had recently learned he had a six year old daughter named Grace that was living in Scotland. He was a photographer who traveled a lot until he learned his father had cancer. He had to hurry to get Grace then get home to Pecan Grove to be with his father. He was devastated by the news and wished he had come home more often to see his parents. Cleo had lost her husband a few years ago but was still grieving for him. She had a young son, Harris, to support but she hated her job due to the harassment see received from one of the law firm’s partner. She tolerated it because she couldn’t lose her job and be able to support the household. They meet at an ice cream store where Grace smashed an ice cream cone into Harris’s face. The two kids did not hit it off very well, but they became friends after causing a few more incidents of trouble. Cleo wasn’t sure she was ready for a relationship and had to make some tough decisions in order for them to have their happy ever after. I loved the characters and could relate with them. The book was well written and had a wonderful story line. I would definitely recommend reading this book (have a box of tissue ready) and I will be reading more from this author.

This book told a wonderful story about finding love after tragedy. Knowing when to move on during emotional disarray. Cleo believes herself undeserving of affection, in part, but doesn’t truly know what it is until Charlie. Their growth together is perfect for the season.
This was a very sweet read, with wonderful characters!
Cleo is a widow with his 6 year old son Harris and her father. They live near Pecan Grove. She is still grieving her husband’s death in Afghanistan and trying to make ends meet with lost of sacrifice. Bu things are hard.
Charlie Evans is also a single father with a charming daughter Grace who also lost her mother. He’s a well off photographer.
The part of their meeting was delightful. Harris and Grace fight over an ice cream cone and Cleo and Charlie end up arguing and defending their children. It was funny and sweet at the same time. This ignites a fragile friendship that will soon grow into something else. But when Charlie realizes how much Cleo is worth and tries to pursue her romantically he will find that she has her heart protected with a big wall. Will he be able to melt this wall and her heart and show her that real love is worth the risk of losing?
This was a sweet christmas story I recommend! It’s perfect for this season!
I fell in love with Cleo and Charlie, there was real character development here, and they both were broken souls that needed mending. You’ll have to read it to find out if they will mend each other’s heart!
The children were a sweet part of the story, and Natasha did it in a wonderful way. They were so cute and charming, that you couldn’t help not falling for them too. They also gave the story a humorous light.
A worthy read for this season!

Chloe is a young military widowed mother trying to make ends meet working as a legal secretary. World traveling photographer Charlie found out recently that he had a 6 year old daughter. He returns to Texas with her upon learning that his father is ill. The relationship between these two characters is incredibly sweet and tender. The story deals with loss and recovering from it. It is a well done story that has a few kid antics that make you smile.

This story is an emotional rollercoaster. I enjoyed it very much. Letting go of her former husband was very hard for Cleo. Charlie had never been in love before. As they navigated the ups and downs I couldn’t help rooting for them. I highly recommend this book.
Cleo was a widow and raising her young son she worked in an office but so wished she could find something else, her boss was horrible and wouldn’t stop making her feel scared. Charlie was a single father to a little girl her her mother has died and charlie had no idea until he got a phone call that he was a father. Charlie had come home his father was sick and his mother needed him he was close to his father and he so wished he would be around forever. Such a sweet story about a second chance of happiness will Harris and Grace bring their parents together, can Cleo finally move on with her life. Highly recommend this wonderful book

This is a sweet Holiday romance about a woman who closed her heart to love after the death of her husband. When Cleo meets Charlie it doesn’t start out great but as time goes by they grow on each other. I loved both children in this story and their interactions throughout the story. The writing is great and the story is a great addition to the Wedding Series.
Letting Go This Christmas is a well written second chance at love romance. The characters will steal your heart. Cleo Mason a widow and single mom of 6 yr. old Harris and Charle single new dad of 6 yr. old Grace. The story takes place in Pecan Grove Texas and is the 3rd story in the Wedding Series. The children are adorable and the plot wil hold your attention from start to finish. Charlie and Cleo are both trying to deal with the loss of a loved one and yet can’t fight their attraction. There is also some laughs along the way to their HEA.

Comparison is the thief of joy.
Cleo is a young widow with a son, Harris. She has a thankless job at a law firm and when Charlie and his new found daughter Grace cut in line, it’s not a meet cute at all.
At times preachy, I did like that both characters are dealing with loss. Her if her much loved husband, him of his father he never spent any time with. Charlie is very immature. He traveled the world and missed out on raising a daughter who he just now has to be responsible for as he father is dying.
I did enjoy the little moments and how they are connected by her husband Tanner.
4.5

Charlie and Cleo meet during an ice cream debacle where his daughter tosses her cone in Cleo’s sons face. Coincidence has them meeting again when her son is moved classrooms to even the numbers. What starts out as hate amongst the kids as well as the adults gets turned into friendship along with love. Cleo has to first move on from the loss of her husbAnd Tanner and Charlie has to find a way to overcome that wall. Do you think Charlie can do it? I am all team Charlie so I rooted for him all the way, the kids interactions were quite funny as we with the storyline.

I loved everything about this story. I absolutely loved the interactions between the kids. I loved the spunk and the loyalty of the parents even as they tried to teach them. This is a clean and entertaining read. You won’t be sorry!
