Molly Alcott didn¿t expect to open her mailbox one summer morning and find an old letter stuffed between bills and a supermarket flyer. Penned in familiar handwriting, dated over fifteen years ago, the letter was written to Molly after her first date with the man she¿ll never forget.
Week after week, new letters appear. Each marks an event in the history of their epic love affair. Each heals a … Each heals a wound. Each holds the confession of the man who still owns Molly¿s heart.
The letters are full of promise, hope and love, but truth be told, Molly wishes she could unread them all.
Because the man who wrote these letters is not the one sending them.

Love this author and how she writes.
I just loved this book, beautiful down to earth story. Loved what great parents they were.
Sad but good story, nice for second chances.
I enjoyed reading this book.
Great characters and I didn’t want to put it down.
I enjoyed the premise of the book based on the letters written to Molly.
I really enjoyed this story about a couple who relive their relationship from the start to finish, based on letters written by the husband to his wife, Molly. Although he never gave them to her, someone found them and is sending them to Molly and she realizes things she never knew. After being divorced for 6 years, can they ever get back the love they once had? A great book about family and forgiveness.
I really enjoyed this story. It shows how not sharing feelings and opening up to loved ones can lead to BIG problems in your relationship.
Loved this book. Writer is gifted in telling a story with a Happy ever after ending. 5*.
Really enjoyed this book! So much, I had to read book 1. This books characters seem real life with faults and redeeming qualities. If only every couple could learn from this book! Really enjoyed the storyline.
Where to begin? I knew when I started reading this book was going to be a journey that tugged at my heart. This is more than just a second chance love story. There was no period of time that Molly and Finn were away from one another – they were part of each other’s lives, but as a divorced couple.
I loved this story even as it shredded my emotions. Devney Perry made me feel what these characters were feeling as the letters arrived and they relived formative times of their lives. The time passed without notice while I read this really good book.
I loved this book about second chances. It was about all the mistakes that ended a relationship and the way to correct all the mistakes that don’t seem important at the time they were made.
And I thought the first book “The Birthday List” was great. This one exceeds it. Wish I could give six stars. The only problem with this book is in putting it down.
A good story of love that stands the test of time and trust.
4*
Finn & Molly met when she was invited to dinner by her roommate Poppy his sister.
Shes a romantic and confessed letters were her weakness.
When life got in the way of things the two made unfortunate decisions which cost them dearly.
A wonderful story with true feelings as real to life I felt.
I loved The birthday list and was just as drawn into this book.
Another great story
This was a sweet and steamy second chance at marriage romance read. Finn and Molly’s story was one full of mistakes and regrets but it was also full of love. They had to find their way back to each other but in order to do that, they would have to face the challenges in their marriage they had but never resolved. It would be hard, there would be pain and tears but it would be worth it in the end. Their love was everlasting, they just got lost along the way. I enjoyed all of the characters in the story. I disliked Deb for what she did but I didn’t hate her. However, I was glad when Molly put her in her place. The ending was sweet and funny and I was truly surprised at finding out the person that sent the letters. I look forward to reading more books from this author and I will be recommending this one to my family and friends.
Another solid read by this author. I definitely liked this second chance romance between Molly and Finn. The letters he wrote to Molly, but never sent were sweet and raw with emotion. I loved that part about the book the most and how Molly and Finn were forced to face certain things that brought about the downfall of their marriage. I liked Finn and Molly at lot and it was clear these two were still completely in love with one another and despite the fact that it still hurt Finn that Molly cheated, he knew she was his soulmate. It was just great to watch them face their fears and find their way back to one another. I really enjoyed this book. I still loved The Birthday List wayyy more, but its gonna be hard to top that book.
“Once upon a time.” When my life had been a fairy tale. Before the glass slippers had splintered.
Molly and Finn seem unshakable and completely in love. Fifteen years later, they have been divorced for six years, co-parenting their children politely. Then Molly starts receiving letters… letters written by Finn, but never intended for her eyes. Someone is sending her these letters for an unbeknownst reason, and it forces her and Finn to work through the darkest times of their marriage. Their mutual love has never completely gone away, but is it enough to overcome all of the hurt of the past? Or is it truly too late?
Devney Perry’s Letters to Molly is a sensitive examination of a failed marriage, and a poignant, character-driven story that I did not anticipate enjoying as much as I did. Typically, I read romance as an escape, and so I typically steer away from novels that deal with more serious topics. I am so glad I didn’t let that stop me from reading this book, because it is beautiful. Also, I did not read the previous novel in this series prior to reading this one, but think it works well as a standalone. (Though it would have been interesting to have further exposition on all of the characters before diving into this novel.)
I really appreciate the narrative that Perry has given us in this novel, and think it’s a must-read.
Devney at her best! This is one of the best Second-chance-divorced-couple stories I’ve read. Ever. They are human. They made mistakes. Both of them. And those letters!… The book had me sniffling tears one moment and snorting with laughter the next. After reading “The Birthday List”, it felt like coming home to loved family and friends. A great read not to be missed.
Received a complimentary copy and voluntarily leaving a review.
After reading “The Birthday list” I was more than happy to learn there would be a book about Molly and Finn. They just deserve their happily ever after.
This is the first book I’ve read about a divorced couple finding love again. Once in a while I love a good second chance romance and “Letters To Molly” is definitely one I recommend. Much like the “Birthday List” this is a book full of emotion. And it is written so well. Even though I never went through a divorce myself, I could really relate to them. Molly and Finn’s story really gets to you what makes it even sweeter when they find each other again.
I also much enjoyed it to go back to the Maysen Jar and meet up with familiar characters from the previous book.
