Molly Alcott didn¿t expect to open her mailbox one summer morning and find an old letter stuffed between bills and a supermarket flyer. Penned in familiar handwriting, dated over fifteen years ago, the letter was written to Molly after her first date with the man she¿ll never forget.
Week after week, new letters appear. Each marks an event in the history of their epic love affair. Each heals a … Each heals a wound. Each holds the confession of the man who still owns Molly¿s heart.
The letters are full of promise, hope and love, but truth be told, Molly wishes she could unread them all.
Because the man who wrote these letters is not the one sending them.

Loved this book!! best I have read in a long time! Both characters were realistic, their love was real. I liked that neither ex went out screwing dozens of others out of revenge or a false sense of “I need to scratch an itch”. loved this as it is very rare in modern romances to have characters that are indiscriminate in their sex lives!!
This book is wonderful. I have read it , and reread it several times. Everything about it is good. The characters are wonderful. The story is romantic. It’s got everything. I’ve read all the books in this series.
Very interesting and entertaining
This was an excellent story telling the reader how important communication is in a relationship. It was written well and had a positive ending.
Really enjoyed!
It was different than the average love story. Made you think about marriage and relationships.
I liked the flow of the relationships with characters of this book. It was interesting how the letters were wound into the plot.
It was okay. It started in an interesting manner, but didn’t really hold my attention. The premise was good, but the story seemed to move slowly. The characterizations weren’t bad, but the story didn’t grab my attention the way I hoped it would.
This book kept me engaged and reading from the beginning to end. I stayed up late to read as much as possible.
Great book! This story line was so different from anything I have ever read. It has a great lesson for married couples and engaged couples. It should be required reading!
Loved it!
Such a heart tugging story. Thanks for the great read. I went looking for another of Ms. Perry’s works immediately. Reading “Timid”now.

The letters are full of promise, hope and love, but Molly wishes she could unread them all because the man who wrote the letters is not the one sending them. – This is a bittersweet story. The love between Molly and Finn is one that many never find. The letters brought many emotions and let the reader learn about the struggles Molly and Finn endured. Their children and families were important parts of the story. This is well written and a good book.
Good story. Sometimes communication is lacking. Share your feelings.
A good read!! Unusual. Could not put it down until the end.
Loved the characters. Not complicated but pulled at heartstrings. Not too agonizing but I definitely felt sadness for the main couple. It ended exactly the way it should. Love a happily ever after!
I found a new author! I hated to put the book down as it draws you in and you cant wait to turn the page.
To much use of F word and excessive use of sex.
Loved this book.
Hope there will be a sequel so I can continue to read more letters to Molly. Wonderful story where love does overcome some hard times in a marriage. Wish my husband wrote me a letter.
