A wrong number is supposed to be just that–a wrong number.Delete. Done.Do not continue to text. Do not flirt.A wrong number shouldn’t be the first person on your mind in the morning, or the last at night…and you’re definitely not supposed to talk them into buying a baby goat.Because that would be weird. When Zach Hastings and I get into a wrong-number mix-up, we don’t follow the rules. We keep … wrong-number mix-up, we don’t follow the rules. We keep texting and flirting, because he’s wicked funny and perfectly nerdy and a wonderful distraction.
I’m not looking for love, and Zach definitely had the wrong number.
But maybe…
Maybe he’s the right guy.
Let’s Get Textual is a full-length standalone romcom with a HEA.

Once again if real life would stay out of my way, I would have read this book in one sitting. However, finishing it up late at night was totally worth the loss of sleep. I thoroughly enjoyed Zach and Delia’s story. Sexy banter is Ms. Hunter’s forte and this book is no exception. Zach is the hottest nerd I have ever read, and his family (except his brother) is a hoot.
When a wrong number turns into a real relationship, what could go wrong? Ms. Hunter’s characters are well-developed and a whole lot of fun. While some elements might be a little far fetched that’s what makes this book so much fun to read. Grab a glass of wine and relax with Zach and Delia
This was one funny book. I loved that it was different, and that texting between characters was amazing and Marshy <3 I really adored both characters. The story was witty, funny, sweet and well written!
Omg….this book was amazing. I loved Delia and Zach’s story. This was unlike any book I have read lately and I loved the fact it was written in part text between them (which I thought made you connect more with the characters).
Such a cute, entertaining, light-hearted, funny story about young adult love. It’s an all around feel-good book and it will leave you with a smile on your face.
The only thing that I didn’t like was the very predictable, very formulaic, very avoidable drama element before the happy ending. Otherwise: a fun, quick, nice read!
Let’s Get Textual is super cute and funny. A lot of the story is told in banter through text messages.
It starts with a text message sent to a wrong number. It is an entertaining, light and fun read or listen. I really enjoyed the narration.
-4 Stars-
OMG I’ve finally met Delia and Zack and I’m so happy right now. This book had me laughing out loud and so hard I scared a little old lady that was sitting across from me at the cafe.
I loved everything about this book. The banter was (like said) amazing. How they started their relationship was a bit strange but when it’s meant to be it’s meant to be
I can’t wait to start book 2
Read straight through and loved every minute of it. Can’t wait for more
5 stars doesn’t even qualify for this read… Teagan is an amazing writing, she does a great job at catching your attention early on and an amazing job at the character development.
Zack and Delia met by a text to the wrong number, there conversations back and forth are hilarious. Could a wrong number turn into something more.. well you have to read it to find and If those two don’t win you over Marshmallow sure will… I really want a baby goat now lol. It’s really a must a read.
This was a fun read. The text exchanges between Zach and Delia were just hilarious, sweet and funny. Throughly enjoyed this.
A well-built story about doing the exact opposite of what you’re taught not to do: talking to strangers. Only this stranger comes with sexy nerd humor, sarcasm that will make you laugh, and a baby goat.
this book was great , it made me laugh all the way thru it . amazing book . I love Teagans writing style . You really can’t go wrong with this book .
Easy, funny, entertaining. I loved their witty dialogues (textual and verbal). Most of the time I had a smile on my face while I was reading it. And I will for sure look for the next book from this author.
I’ve always enjoyed books with text conversations in them so this one was perfect. Sometimes that wrong number may not be wrong after all. Just ask Zach and Delia.
************** AUDIOBOOK REVIEW **************
This audiobook was fantastic!! I laughed out loud so many times! Teagan Hunter built her characters up solidly and strong. I adored they sweet, awkward, nerdy amazingness!! Zack and Delia are so quick-witted and that fun and flirty texting has me devouring this audio in under a day. The story brought surprise bursts of laughter from me! I was also surprised when the story turned a bit more serious. I thoroughly enjoyed the route the story took!!
The narrator Emma Wilder was perfect for this book! Her voice with light and fun , flirty and sexy! It was the perfect college lady. I usually enjoy dual POV books with dual narrators. However, I was tickled pink with Emma’s voice on both characters. I can’t tell you how much this surprised me! She wasn’t strongly male but it didn’t turn me off and that’s so very unexpected. I would definitely listen to another audiobook with this narrator!
This book is so witty and mind blowing from the very start. Its so different from everything I’ve ever read it was honestly refreshing. I love text banter, but this was just a whole new level of it.
From having a wrong number and keeping up with it and going on with a friendship to a full on relationship. Watching as their relationship develops and just pulls you in and you hole heartedly fall in love with these amazing characters.
Then seeing that twist and knowing that part of the book that’s just going to rip your heart out and leave you with nothing and make you just want to cry your eyes out!
I completely just wanted to shut the world out and just read this book cover to cover it was so amazing and wonderful. The banter, one liners, crazy conversations, and just things you could just see your self awkwardly blurting out! So true to form!
I absolute love this book! Every once in awhile, you find that one book that just gives you all the feels. I loved the plot, the characters, the goat, the roommates, heck, I even loved the ex-boyfriend.
The wit and banter between Zach and Delia is cute, sexy at times, and charming. The ‘meet cute’ is unique and the author gives a fresh take on the whole wrong number plot.
I love the texting, but when these two meet… oh mylanta! I was laughing out loud in so many spots. The sexy times were pretty awesome, but I love how it fit the characters and their personalities. Have you ever read those over the top virgins who suddenly go from shy to brazen in two seconds, and you’re wondering what the heck happened? Here you get more real scenarios.
I also love how Delia interacts with Zach’s family. You get to see where he gets his cute and quirky personality from. This book is by far my favorite for the year/the past year and on my top five list of favorite books ever. If I ever get stranded on a desert island with one book for life – I would choose this one!
I’m slowly downloading the authors other books and devouring them when I can. I’ve started the next book in the series and so far I’m liking it a lot…. although Zach and Delia are still my faves 🙂
I read this on Kindle Unlimited and if I didn’t read another book in KU all month reading Let’s Get Textual was worth my monthly fee.!! I loved this book, it was smart, it was funny, and the love story between Zach and Delia was sweet and tender. This was a well-written book with a great cast of characters.
Absolutely Loved this book!
Can a wrong number lead to romance?
Zack works from home and needed to meet a client unfortunately his friend got the wrong number and he ended up texting Delia not his client. A few wrong messages and then some for fun turned into a awesome friendship.
Delia is just trying to get through college and maybe find love some day. She’s dating the perfect man but there is no sparks just two best friends trying to date.
After a breakup and some wrong number texts the mysterious guy seems to put more of a smile on her face and a spark in her life than anyone ever has.
Can Zack and Delia make this a relationship or is it just some fun texting.
Zack is the perfect boyfriend Delia is just fun I loved this book! Such a fun story!
Orginal review: https://myshelfbooks.wordpress.com/2018/08/18/lets-get-textual-teagan-hunter/
Have you ever finished a book and wished there were some kind of big brother reality show about its characters just because you can have enough of them? In Delia’s words: how much pizza is too much pizza? There is not such thing as too much pizza!! That’s how I feel about this book. If there were an extended version about 200.000 billion pages long I would still crave more. Yes, I have loved every single word of this book.
The story of this book is told from the point of view of Delia, a college student that one day receives a call from un unknown number. The person calling was Zach, an app developer who wanted to contact a client but has a wrong number. After the first weird conversation, they start texting each other. Little by little (or not so slow) their friendship turns into a romance.
The blurb itself is nothing out of the ordinary. Nothing that caught my attetion there (except the goat!!). Besides, according to Goodreads (and I will trust them) this is a New Adult book… genre that doesn’t make me very happy if I’m being honest. But the reviews about how funny it is convinced me to give it a chance. My initial scepticism became absolute love in a matter of pages. Is it weird if I say that more than a book I consider it a friend? Too creepy? Honestly, I have no word to express how happy this book has made me feel!!
Out of the question, the sense of humour is one of the best I have read in my life. The nerd jokes, the never ending banter, the witty retorts, the adorable cockiness of Zach… Everything put a smile on my face and, very often, made me laugh hard. It felt SOOOOOOOOO good. All the good guys characters (which are all except one) have earned a special place in my memories as a reader. They are a bunch that I would love to consider friends… even though they follow a really crappy diet. Someone must explain me how Zach keeps in shape eating SO bad!!
The story is sweet and the author takes her time with the best part of the Romance genre: the couple getting to know each other. It’s usually the funniest part of those books and most writers tend to rush through it. But not in this one. Small steps but sure ones. The relationship that is built between Delia and Zach is lovely and really well written. An absolute pleasure to follow them in their best and worst moments. I’m going to miss them so much!!
The book is perfect, but it would have been heavenly if some of the chapters were told from the point of view of Zach. Don’t get me wrong, Delia is awesome, but sometimes I was dying to know what was going on in Zach’s head. I would have loved some chapters from his point of view after the goatnap to really enjoy his reaction, but I guess I will have to use my own imagination :).
As I said before, the worst part of this book is that is finite. Even though this is a standalone, there is a similar book by Teagan Hunter to tell the story of Delia’s best friend, Zoe. A third one will be published later this year, but I still don’t know the main characters for that one. I guess Delia and Zach will make a cameo or two in those books, so it’s not the end. I wonder why the author doesn’t group those books in a saga. It would help many readers to read them in order.
