Let’s Be Just Friends is a fun and romantic read…it had several jaw dropping moments as well as ‘oh no he didn’t!!!’ … It flowed nicely, it was an enjoyable read, and most importantly, I giggled. Kaisha Holloway – The Writing Garnet
Let’s Just Be Friends is an enjoyable and fast read. All of the characters are really believable. While reading this book it made me reminisce about the past and I’m sure this will be the case for many of you out there when you’re reading this book. Anniek – With Love for Books
Camilla has taken the rule book for love triangles and old friendships and rewritten it which, like I said earlier, was so refreshing. Ninnie – Bookaholick Babe

I loved this! Finally somebody in a book did what I wanted!! At last! Rose was AMAZING she was strong, smart and owned her sh*t and stood up for herself! She made the right choice! She chose the right man and I was SOOOO happy! It felt like Camilla Isley had been sitting next to me while I was reading when I would say “uh I hate this guy” and she said..me too, let me fix it! Loved it, read it in one sitting, and immediately got the next one…
Let me start by saying, I love Camilla Isley’s work and will continue to support this awesome author. This book just wasn’t my cup of tea. I tried reading the second book as well but had to stop. I appreciate flawed characters, but every single character (except Ethan) was unlikable. There were also too many points of view, which prevented anticipation and predictions for me as a reader.
Let’s Be Just Friends: A New Adult College Romance by Camilla Isley is a short New Adult
romance story and is told in the third person. There is a lot going on in a short amount of
time. There is lust and betrayal, jealousy and hurt, cheating and dishonesty. There are a lot
of poor choices and mean girls, cheating and backstabbing, confused feelings and unhealthy
relationships. The characters are not perfect and it is not always a bed of roses. There are
also a lot of emotions running high, so come prepared to be shocked and bit confused anda
lot surprised .
If your into new adult college romance then give it a go
1.5 Short review with some spoilers.
I have never read a book that I didn’t want a happy ending for any of the characters until this one. Since this is a short review let me tell you the main problem with these characters NONE of them should be in a relationship.
Rose- Is supposedly “in love” with her best friend Tyler the player. She’s waiting for Tyler to quit his player ways and notice her, she gets upset at the fact that Tyler ‘The Player’ hasn’t cheated on his girlfriend Georgiana once until he does with her. I didn’t think that she loved Tyler at all she never comes out an tells him that she wants a relationship with him and wants him to quit his player ways.
Tyler- I gotta say for a guy who is suppose to be player who has string girls along and kicked them to curb when he know longer wants them he sure is weak. He doesn’t want to be with Georgiana but wants to be with Rose but never has the balls to actually pull the trigger and break up with her. He’s sudden turn of hearts about wanting to be in a committee relationship with Rose would have been believable if he actually ended the relationship with Georgiana instead of promising to.
Georgina- She is an insufferable witch who is desperate to hold on to Tyler she goes to the soap opera lengths to do it. Clearly she has never heard the saying if you to go to extreme lengths to keep him he isn’t worth it. There was so many times throughout the book I wanted to slapped her and tell her to grow the hell up but then again I wanted to slapped all four many characters.
Ethan- I tried like him but like the other three characters I just found nothing likable about him. He’s way to possessive and on one hand I get he got burned by his ex and his best friend but he was insufferable just like his sister.
All four characters needed to try celibacy and figure out what and who they wanted to be with and stop all the bed hopping and whining.
