Lethal Wolf by Julie K. Cohen is an amazing story that I have read. This is book number two in this amazing series that I have loved reading since book number one. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about wolf shifters, fantasy and paranormal romances.

Fantastic book
I didn’t read the first book in this series but this book about Slater and Sophia captured my attention from the beginning to the end. Slater is captured by shifter hater community and imprisoned. Sophia is looking for a way to escape so she sneaks into the prison befriending Slater by bringing chicken legs she hides. Each has their own agendas. Can they learn to trust each other? The passion that blooms between Slater and Sophia builds wonderfully in this story along with the drama and action. There is violence in this story by Sophia’s dad and others in the community and twists and turns as the two become closer. This is a well written story which I enjoyed reading and reviewing via Booksprout and the author. ARC
This is the second book in this series and like the first it is a book that flows well and keeps you engaged until you turn that last page
Slater a wolf shifter was taken prisoner by an anti shifter group after been hit by a stun gun. They are slowly starving him to death by only feeding him soup made with veges Shifter need a high protein diet. Even worse torture is the internally spiked collar that won’t allow him to lay down and stops him from shifting as the spikes would kill him.Sophia sneaks some meat and a blanket top him and also a blanket to keep him warm she is also a captive held there by her crazy father who is part of the group. She wants to escape the beatings and she knows she has a far better chance of Slater escapes with her but can he trust her even if his wolf calms when she is near. Once they escape the ponly way his pack will accept her is if he blood bonds with her but can he do that when it could weaken him.
After reading this book I had to take a little time to compose myself and get my thoughts clear in my head before I put them in a review.
Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. You won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.

Book two of the White Wolf series a well written story with a very good storyline the story flowed smoothly across the pages. This is white wolf shifter Slater Novak and Human Sophia Shaw’s story. There is suspense, drama, danger, a Blood Bond, twists, turns, capture,torture, a group of villains, and romance. I hope there is going to be more in this series. Taken down by a stun-gun a week earlier, Slater Novak was being held captive by an anti-shifter group and slowly starving to death. They put a collar with spikes inside of it to torture him so that he could not lie down to sleep and could not shift without killing himself. Although they gave him rancid vegetable soup, it never had any meat in it – and shifters needs lots of protein to survive! He scented a human female who, in addition to her pleasant scent, always smelled of machine oil. This time, he heard her say she had put a little meat in his soup. And he realized that any time she was near, his wolf calmed down from its incessant clawing to get out.
Sophia needed to escape these lunatics. She had bruises all over and a black eye from the beatings. Her father, Dave Shaw, was a cruel man. The children here on the compound had no structure, no discipline, no school or homework, just mandatory time in the woods working on target practice. Michael’s future followers would be uneducated, callous, and steady with a gun, just like the current followers. Sophia finally had a chance to sneak into the prison building. She wanted Slater to escape with her and help her get away, but he didn’t trust her. They both sat on their side of the solid metal door and by the time she had to leave, he was willing to try an escape with her.
Despite the horror stories Michael and her father told her about shifters, Sophia already knew that Slater cared about his friends, his pack, and had an honor that no one else here had. Realizing she could not get the key from Michael, Sophia visited Slater again with the pen he asked for. This time, he wrote a code and phone number on her arm. If she could get to a phone and contact his pack, they could come rescue him. Would she be able to get away long enough to do that? Her punishment would be severe if they caught her. But time was running out for Slater and she had to at least try to save him!
This was a really good story with the tension and danger constantly present. If Slater can be rescued by his pack, Sophia’s life may also be changed if he gets her away from the compound. The future is unclear, but the present is unacceptable on so many levels. Grab your copy and see if a future awaits them, or if it will be cut off before it even has a chance to happen.
I enjoyed this book. The story was well written and the characters were well developed within the story. The brief history given of Sophia was needed to understand her character and Slaters’ history with his pack was needed to understand the ending. I loved how strong Sophia was and how much Slater loved her. The ending was great.

This was an awesome book that I really enjoyed. It’s Slater and Sophie’s story. The story and characters grabbed me from the beginning and I couldn’t stop reading. I loved the characters and watching them grow together, they were well written and went well together. There’s action, drama, adventure, twists, turns, danger, hot alpha male and a amazing hot romance. I found this book amazing with great word building making me feel apart of the story and watching it unfold in front of me. This is an amazing author that continues to bring book that grab you and keep your interest right up until the end!!! A definite must read for any fan and I can’t wait to read more from this author!!!

Slater is the alpha heir to the Novak pack & he’s been captured by a group of shifter hating humans. He’s in a concrete cell with no windows & a thick steel door. There’s a food slot at the bottom of the door & it turns out to be his salvation. Sophia is part of the group, but it’s not by choice. She doesn’t want to be there, but all of her attempts at escape have failed & she’s been punished. She knows the only one that might be able to help her is the captured shifter & once she’s worked up enough courage she learns he’s not what they have made him out to be. She calms his wolf like no other, but there’s a problem. He can’t mate a human. After his escape, he believes that she’s dead until a phone call comes in using a code he gave her to call his pack. He races to rescue her & he knows he has to do everything he can to keep her safe from anyone from the group she was part of as well as his pack. They both have their own demons to face & their time together is not easy, but neither can deny their feelings–well, at least not to themselves. What happens once Sophia accepts the offer of the blood bond changes both their lives.
When I read Defiant Wolf I thought Slater was kind of a jerk, but after reading this one, I think even I fell in love with him. He’s strong, compassionate, & HAF. He’ll do anything to protect those he loves no matter the cost to himself. Sophia has been thru hell & back at the hands of her father & the men in the group he dragged her to. As you get to know her, she’s a determined young woman who refuses to accept the hardships that life has thrown at her. Together they are an explosive couple. Julie’s stories are always so creative with well-developed characters & world building. Lethal Wolf is another hit for her & I look forward to more in the future.

This is an amazingly well-written story of Shifters and a group against shifters trying to hurt them. He is a prisoner and she was only supposed to give him food, water and a blanket and ends up calling his pack to get him rescued, but ends up in danger for helping. He ends up rescuing her also. These characters a very strong and grow through out the story as they fight their attraction until they finally embrace their combustible attraction. I loved this story

I absolutely LOVED this book. I will not give the synopsis since you can read the blurb and others give more detail but I definitely recommend!
The chemistry, sexiness, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things very interesting.
