Blade McCormick is not a nice guy. He’s pure adrenaline and smells like smoke and leather—the kind of guy you look at and know he’s going to be a combination of nasty and irresistible. The moment I allowed myself to touch his hot skin and kiss his full lips, I. Was. Done.Like currency, I’ve become part of a transaction. Blade took me to pay off a debt. I try to tell myself, Eve, you should hate … you should hate him. He’s a bad guy. But then again, I’m not a good girl. Blade’s the president of the Disciples, the notorious motorcycle club. I should be frightened, yet somehow, he doesn’t scare me. If anything, I think I scare him.
It takes a lot of work to become the club’s Queen, but I’ll stop at nothing to have the King!

Lethal Review
Lethal is a MUST READ.
My first MC Romance read and review and I must say I absolutely loved Blade and Eve’s story.
Blade aka Jason is far from a nice guy. He’s the President of The Disciples motorcycle club and is looks like a Greek god with stunning green eyes. From the moment Eve met Blade when she was sixteen she had a thing for him but he warned her he was a bad guy and gave her a pass. Two years later there paths cross again when Blade shows up to collect and Eve’s junkie brother is nowhere to be found so with no money and Eve wanting to protect her father she then becomes Blade’s property. It starts with Blade claiming Eve and soon evolves into them changing and needing each other. Blade’s a bad guy who can be bossy and obsessive but Eve loves him that way. Eve thought she only had herself to depend on until Blade changed all that.
From the bad boy bikers to the hot moments this book was amazing I couldn’t get enough.
This story is a bit dark and gritty at times but all around 5 star read for me. Loved all the characters. Eve has to be one of my favorite females characters because she’s no fool and is such a strong heroine and you don’t always read that in many books. I’m happy I signed up to read and review Atone cause I got to finish this one and move right on to David and Charlie’s story.
Im not gonna lie.. As my first read, Lethal was an MC Romance with a promising debut story. Jason aka Blade McCormick is the President of Disciples. A man who like to control and want everything including Eve. The stories were compelling to keep me curious.. I saw the trail of feelings between Jason and Eve. It was lust and fire. The dynamics were chaotic within these two!
3.5 Stars.
Okay. Let me start out by saying I love Cassandra’s other books. Like those are some of my top picks of all time but for some reason I didn’t have the same reaction to this book. I couldn’t connect with the characters because I just felt that it was genuine.
One of the big things with this book that didn’t sit right with me was the back and forth in the story. 75% of the book was back and forth between Eve and Jason/Blade. The back and forth didn’t make sense to me because then all of a sudden, they love each other. This progression didn’t feel natural to me and it all happened towards the end of the book. It honestly seemed like there was so much to get into one book, that certain things suffered, especially the progression with their relationship.
I also didn’t enjoy the characters all that much. I thought that Eve was supposed to come across as a badass women to most, but be submissive to Jason/Blade didn’t actually come across that way. Also with Jason/Blade, he was supposed to be this strong MC president that takes no shit from anyone but really he was a total asshole. Personally, I don’t particularly like reading characters that are straight assholes with no reason to be one. Blade/Jason’s background constitutes no reason for him to be THAT big of an asshole that for 75% of the book he rags on Eve.
I had so many other questions towards the end of the book because there were so many other things that developed within the last 25%. Like Blade’s mother? Came out of no where. So many other things also happened that I don’t want to spoil to much of.
Overall I hate putting all the things I didn’t like out there in this review, but this book didn’t sit well with me. I usually look for not just character development or plot, but also how well written the book was. I know Cassandra is a newer author and personally I feel in love with her first Duet, so I was so excited for her next release, but I was disappointed a bit.
Let me start out by saying this is the first book I have read by Cassandra Robbins, but it definitely will not be my last! Lethal was such an incredible book that the story sucked me in from the start and I could not get enough. If you like the anti-hero asshole type Alpha males then you are going to LOVE this book! Blade/Jason fought his feels so hard for Eve that when he finally gave in, it made it that much more amazing to read. The chemistry between Jason and Eve was melt your panties hot. I can not wait for more from the Disciples MC.
MUST. READ. RIGHT. NOW!!!
As my first read from this Author, I am officially obsessed with her words!!!
Not only is this my first read, but this is also the writer’s first foray into MC… Let me tell you – SHE. NAILED. IT. Every aspect that you love about MC is in this book.
The angst in this story is heavy. I wanted to throw my Kindle at times, then I would go back to all the heart eyes.
Seriously, you HAVE TO READ this book!
A dark & gritty, hot & steamy rollercoaster ride. 5 stars & 2 thumbs up!
I read a lot of genres of romance novels. MC books, for me, has to have a great storyline for me to consider reading it. Cassandra Robbins knocks this story right out of the park! Blade is the hot, sexy, blond hair, green eyed, bad boy President of MC Disciples. He arrives on the scene to collect a debt but when the person in not there, he claims the debtor’s sister Eve as payment. Eve is beautiful, young and strong minded. The angst and the sexual tension will have the pages of your book or Kindle in flames ! Super hot love scenes and roller coaster ride of excitement! Excellent read and 5 stars all the way!!!!
Fantastic book. I really enjoy this book. I’m new to this author but I’m glad I gave her a chance because this book was everything I love about reading books. It kept me entertained with the push and pull dynamic between the two main characters (Blade/ Jason and Eve). I was truly impressed with the original storyline and how events unfolded. It kept me on my toes and turning pages to see exactly what happened next. This book is full of emotion grabbing surprises. Just when you think you got the plot all figured out, the story would surprise the hell out of you. I so enjoyed it. It’s made me laugh out loud and may have jerked a few tears out as well. I loved it and would recommend tjis book to any book lover, it’s so worth the money.
Let me start off by saying I LOVED this MC debut novel from Cassandra Robins. There is just something about this kind of genre that I love. From the start you can really sympathize with the characters and really feel the sense of brotherhood that the characters have toward one another.
Blade/Jason, is the ultimate alpha male that is cocky, possessive, and he is used to getting what he wants and that includes Eve.
Eve is not your typical heroine she definitely knows how to hold her own when she comes face to face with such a commanding presence. From the very beginning you can see that these two have a very strong chemistry and when they interact with one another it is instant fireworks! It only takes that one special type of woman to bring the best out of a man; this is what Eve does for Blade. You see that they are made for one another and bring the best out of each other. Love is not always easy but once you find it, it can and will change you for the better. Do yourself a favor and read this book. You are sure to enjoy it as much as I have and look forward to reading about the other members of this MC Club. Bring on book 2!!
When you decide you are ready to read this make sure to have a block of time available as you are not going to want to put it down once you start. I always have a soft spot for the tough brooding alpha who finds something he never even knew he was missing and Blade/Jason did not let me down. I loved Eve’s character although I had a difficult time believing she was as young as she was with all her street smarts. I loved the story line between these two characters and the gripping MC story line the runs parallel.
I cannot wait for more books to be released in this series
Lethal is my first book by Cassandra Robbins and I’m honestly shocked at how addicted I’ve become by this amazing author! Lethal has every element checked off for me when it comes to a fantastic book! From the hot as hell bad guy who will move heaven and earth for his brothers and for the woman he adores, to a storyline that not only grabs the reader’s attention but is able to hold it throughout the book! I loved every word of this book!
Blade/Jason is the king of the MC and runs his club with an iron fist. His brothers are loyal to him and to the club. He’s not looking for love, but when he meets Eve nothing will stop him from making her his. The MC code of life is that he’s allowed to have other women but Eve won’t stand for that and once Jason makes her his he doesn’t want or need anyone else. Their connection is instantaneous and burns hotter than hell! Can they survive and grow stronger or will club life and outside forces break their connection? Jason swears Eve is his and he’s not letting her, but can he give her the stability she craves?
This is a must read and I’m so excited to get the rest of the series!
I Loved this book.
I was completely submerged from beginning to end with this story and reading the life of Blade/Jason and the girl he claims as his own Eve.
Young and Naive Eve was taken as payment for a debt her Brother owed to Blade and his MC, although Eve found Blade as Hot as Hades and there was a scorching attraction between them, she is reluctant to exist in the new world he is forcing upon her. So she tries to defy him at every opportunity she has, but Blade takes no crap off anyone, he is All Alpha and not even the girl he is starting to have unfamiliar feelings for can break down his walls….. Or can she?
This book was Raw,gritty and didn’t hold back, packing punches from all sides it portrayed the life in an MC so perfectly. It assaulted my senses, my thoughts and feelings and attacked my inner biker obsession. Cassandra has written a magnificent story that will feed any MC fanatics appetite.
Brilliant.
Blade and Eve could be a modern day Bonnie and Clyde!
Cassandra Robbins first foray into the world of motorcycle clubs starts off with Blade, the Prez, taking Eve in payment after her brother steals from him.
While there are definitely parts of this book that call for a complete suspension of disbelief, it’s a sexy ride into hell with a motorcycle club president who learns that he’ll do anything for his Angel no matter how many times she lies to him.
The club eventually rallies around its’ new Queen, and after one particularly close call they realize their president would die for her.
The end surprised me with the emergence of someone who might be an enemy, but definitely has answers Blade has been seeking for years.
A solid 4’s I’m excited to see what will happen with The Disciples next!
There is something so special about the story that has left me wanting more! I loved it so much I can’t stop thinking about it! Eva was quite young. She grew up in a carnival family moving from place to place doing the best to survive. After losing her mother she had her sick father and drug addicted brother to deal with. She wasn’t naïve by any means and there was something about her I really liked. She was a survivor.
Jason/Blade grew up in an MC world and he was older, an ex Navy seal and President of the MC. He was a bad boy and never stuck to just one woman but he had redeeming qualities and he evolved over time and made me like him very much!
The connection between Eve and Jason/Blade Was strong and palpable. I really am at a loss for words about Jason/Blade and how he felt about Eve. I loved him! And the steamy, sexy times! Swoon!
I love your writing Cassandra Robbins and I can’t wait for what’s to come in this series!
More please!
Holy cow! This is the first book I’ve read by Cassandra Robbins and just like that, I have a new author to watch. From the moment I read, “Now wipe that schoolgirl crush off that pretty face. I’m a bad guy, Angel,” I was all in on this new MC series. I loved watching Jason (Blade) and Evie’s relationship evolve. It starts out as a payment for a debt, but becomes so much more, with Blade fighting it every step of the way.
“You’re not good or bad Jason. You’re Human”
‘Maybe for one night, I can be human.’
There was plenty of action and suspense going on throughout the book to keep me eagerly reading. The supporting characters were great too. The ending sets us up quite nicely for book two and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. Loved this and highly recommend it to anyone who loves MC romance.
5 LETHAL STARS!! Blade/Jason is so sexy and amazing…..he is my new book boyfriend. Jason and Eve’s story is phenomenal and different from most MC stories I have read and I loved every word. Their story as all the feels, drama, tenderness, sexiness, crime and of course love. This author is quickly becoming one of my favorites, her writing style pulls you into the story. I can’t wait to hear the other MC guys stories. This should definitely be a 1-Click for you.
#bookworkdown I REPEAT #bookworkdown after reading Lethal…
It’s been quite awhile since I’ve read an MC book that grabs my attention and keeps it; I might be a tad picky when it comes to this type of a read ::don’t judge me:: but Lethal checked all my boxes.
Hard to love Alpha
Badass Female M Character that knew what she wanted
Extraordinary Secondary Characters
All the Swoon
Chemistry
I could not put this book down..from beginning to end I was hooked. Blade & Eve were just everything. The push and pull between these two kept me somewhere in between wanting to slap them both and swooning all over the place. GAH! So Good! Lethal is a definite must read recommendation from me and I cannot wait to find out what’s going to happen next with the Disciples MC.
I have been anxiously awaiting this book and…. It. Did. Not. Disappoint! MC’s are not my usual trope, but the blurb for this one had me craving it. As the President of the Disciples MC club, Jason AKA Blade is not a good man. He is everything that your Momma warned you about. He is an ex-SEAL who grew up in the seedy, gritty, violent world of the Disciples MC. He is ruthless, he is a killer, he is a completely possessive alpha hole who plays by his own rules. Eve is a gypsy, a carnival rat. Survival is her main priority. Her only family consists of her father, James, who is in poor health and her brother, Benny who is a druggie. When Benny screws over the wrong people, Blade comes to collect. He takes the one thing of value that this family has and that is the young, beautiful Eve. While the connection between Blade and Eve crackles and sizzles like a live wire, Eve is no innocent girl. She has grown up fending for herself. She is a bad ass, a survivor and will bow to no man. But will this King eventually claim his Queen? “I keep telling you I’m a bad guy, Angel.” Our faces are inches apart, but I need her to believe this. Dropping my hand, I lean back and reach for my glass. “Don’t get confused and think I am some kind of hero”. Lethal will have you hooked from page one. It is sexy, dirty and will leave you begging for more. Well developed secondary characters add to this read. Looking forward to the next installment in the series. This is one of my top reads of 2019
This was my first read by Cassandra Robbins and I was completely swept up from the first page! Lethal is a great start to The Disciples MC series! It introduces you to not only Blade and Eve but also to quite a few other characters that I hope we see books for in the future! Blade is, by admission, not a good man. He’s the President of an MC. He kills, he runs drugs and guns and he takes what he wants when he wants it. Eve is a good girl for the most part except when it comes to her survival. Thrust into a world that is completely unknown to her, Eve struggles to stand her ground, adapt, and claim the future she wants despite what Blade says.
I finished this book in just a day but I was thrilled that the author didn’t rush the story. It was a nice length, indulging the reader with a full story, well thought out and had many likable characters while leaving just a little bit of intrigue to leave the reader wanting more! I am now anxious to see what comes next in this series!
Hawt and Dirty!!
I just found another MC author that I will be one-clicking!! What a fantastic book that gives the hardcore biker lovers everything that could want with a one percenter club. Hawt and dirty!! Eve was a carnie kid who is without a mother and working in this world with a dying father and a drug addicted brother. Blade/Jason is an ex-navy seal who is on the top of his game as Prez of the Disciples MC. One of the most notorious MC’s who live by the rules and where only the brothers come first.
This is a book that I couldn’t put down until the very last page was turned and has me waiting on pins and needles to see when the next books comes out. I’m totally hooked.
