Blade McCormick is not a nice guy. He’s pure adrenaline and smells like smoke and leather—the kind of guy you look at and know he’s going to be a combination of nasty and irresistible. The moment I allowed myself to touch his hot skin and kiss his full lips, I. Was. Done.Like currency, I’ve become part of a transaction. Blade took me to pay off a debt. I try to tell myself, Eve, you should hate … you should hate him. He’s a bad guy. But then again, I’m not a good girl. Blade’s the president of the Disciples, the notorious motorcycle club. I should be frightened, yet somehow, he doesn’t scare me. If anything, I think I scare him.
It takes a lot of work to become the club’s Queen, but I’ll stop at nothing to have the King!

I loved this book. I had already read it once but reread it because the author was so amazing at weaving the story together. The main characters started out as enemies but eventually through many trials and tribulations came together I am HEA. While Blade fought his feelings for Eve constantly putting her down he eventually figured out that all her little quirks are what he loved the most about her. Eve had never had stability in her life and believed that to have this she needed Blade to fall in love with her. This is a must read and a page turner from start to finish.
It’s not easy being King!
Blade is the president of the baddest 1%MC in the country. Eve is a Gypsy, carnival kid who only knows life with her dad and druggy brother. When a deal goes wrong between Blade and Eve’s dad Eve is taken for payment.
Blade can’t stop the feeling of ownership and wanting something more when it comes to Eve but he doesn’t like it. In his world monogamy is impossible. Eve is determined to make Blade fall in love with her. Will Eve get her happily ever after? Will Blade commit to Eve? Will the King get his Queen?
This is a must read!
As soon as I finished reading Lethal, my first thought was that I needed more! I quickly realized that Cassandra Robbins’ characters are beautifully damaged as well as insanely hot! The sex is off the charts! Blade will kidnap your heart along with Eve and never let go!
A great mc book! I have read a few mc books that were stale lately and this one blew me away.
I loved all the twists and turns. Loved the alpha alpha bikers and their over the top antics. Gaaaah it was so goood.
The author knows how to write hot hot action packed story.
You really don’t know what to expect as the pages turn.
I loved the bomb at the end. You all need to one click. and one click the next book. It’s MC gold
Brilliant start to work the series, loved it so much that I jumped straight onto the next one!
Wholly recommend this!
A MUST READ FOR 2019 !!!
First book by Cassandra Robbins and let me tell you I AM HOOKED. Holy Hotness, great MC book. Please send me Blade. He starts out as such an ASS but it doesn’t take long for you to fall in love with him. I loved how he fell for Eve when he met her at 16 and then watching him fall more in love with her everyday. He was so hot with being so Alpha, protective and possessive. The way he took care of Eve’s dad was the sweetest. I loved how Eve was his lil badass but innocent also. I loved how much you seen the love Eve had for Bade.
If you want an awesome book that will grab you from the first page and never let you go… this is the book for you!! FLOVED IT!!
Lethal is book one in the series, The Disciples by Cassandra Robbins. This is my very first book by this author. This is a MC romance that can be read as a stand alone.
Eve Smith first met the president of the Disciples MC gang when she was sixteen years old. Eve grew up as a carnival rat. She, her dad and brother were dirt poor and traveled with the carnival. Her brother, who was heavily in to drugs, drew attention to their little family in the worst possible way. Fast forward two years, and Eve is eighteen. Her brother is worse, and owes money to some bad people who have come to collect. Only her brother is no where to be found and her dad is in very poor health. That leaves Eve to be responsible for the debt.
Blade/Jason McCormick is the President of the Disciples MC club. This is the only life Blade has ever known. He knows, he is a very bad man. He has never forgotten the sixteen year old’s beauty that day two years ago. Now he finds himself face to face with her again. And her brother owes him a lot of money and is nowhere to be found. So Blade takes payment in a different way. He’ll take Eve.
Eve finds herself thrust into a world full of sex, drugs and booze. But, more important than all that is Blade. To her he is the most beautiful man she has ever seen. It hurts to look at him at times. Eve has no one else and is determined to make this work.
Eve and Blade’s stubbornness collides over and over again. Blade wants to bend Eve to his will, make her submit. But Eve is stubborn and tries to keep the upper hand. Of one thing she is certain, though. She is falling for this beautiful man and she is determined to make him fall for her right back.
This was difficult to read at times. Blade was so torn between who he was expected to be as the president of his club, and who he wanted to be for Eve. She was an obsession and he fought it every step of the way. He was cruel to her and it hurt me every time with some of the things he said to her or the way he treated her. But it was also clear how torn he was, trying to adjust to all the things he was feeling.
I also have to say that I don’t know how Blade stood the stress he was under every single day trying to hold everything together. There was so much happening, so much going wrong. And on top of it all, he was still fighting with himself over what was happening with Eve.
I also want to mention that I loved Eve. She was no shrinking violet. This girl was tough. She knew she loved him but she was not willing to back down about anything.
I really did love this. I needed a change and this worked perfectly. These two were tough but together there was also so much sweetness. Their chemistry was crazy hot and they burned up the pages.
Book two in this series is already out and is called Atone. It is Blade’s cousin, David’s story. I can’t wait to pick it up!
“Angel, my Angel.”
Most MC novels are going to be violent so going in you have to have an open mind which is what I did when I read this duet. I am not a fan of abuse against women(emotional or physical) so some parts were a little hard to read. Things I liked were the author’s writing, I think she did a good job and there were some very steamy scenes. Toward the end Blade’s character gets a little better but at times I felt that his character was unredeemable. I think it all depends how you feel about books about MC’s, if you are a fan the I think you will enjoy this book.
Balde (Jason) and Eve are the IT couple for me… they made me have all types of feels lol. Of course with any MC book it comes with action, drama, push and pull between, and sexy times! Eve sure did give him a run for his , it does en with a cliffhanger but the story line didn’t feel rushed and it was well written
This was my first book from this author and what a book to dive into! MC books are often hit or miss for me but I really enjoyed this one. Jason/Blade is everything I’d expect from an MC Prez…commanding, gruff, and lethal. Eve left a little to be desired as an h, which is why I put this at 4 stars instead of 5. I feel like as the new “old lady” for the President, she was just not gritty enough and got annoying at times. Regardless, I definitely enjoyed the book and look forward to the next one!
Blade and Angel had a wild story. I couldn’t decide if I hated them or love them throughout the book. Blade is the ruthless prez of his MC and he kidnaps his Angel. This book was so wrong, but amazing too. This was my first book by this author and I will definitely be reading more of her work.
I received a free copy of this book for my honest review.
Oh my word!!! This book gave me so many feels. I read this book within 3 days and let me say I cant wait to read more from this amazing author!!!!
I love when a woman’s love brings a man to his knees! Although this is filled with drama, suspense and intrigue, it’s still a sexy & hot love story. All the elements are here to make this a great page turner! I received this book at no cost in exchange for my honest review
Lethal was the first book that I’ve read from Cassandra Robbins and now her second book in this series, Atone, cannot released fast enough. She absolutely nailed the MC vibe. She gave us danger, adrenaline, angst, an alpha male, and out of this world sexual tension. Eve is a free spirit who is all of a sudden forced to be caged by Blade (the leader of the Diciple MC) to pay off a debt. Jason is not used to anyone questioning him and his orders and our heroine tests his limits every chance she gets. If you enjoy MC romance you definitely do not want to miss out on this book!
I completely loved it!
4.5 Stars for me. New author for me. I read a lot of MC romances and this one was one of the best I’v read in a while. Great writing skills with characters that suck you in and make you look forward to reading their stories. The h, Eve, is 18 years old when Blade takes her as payment for a debt owed. Yes, that’s a usual theme for a lot of MC romances but the author made this story different than the others. Blade initially comes across as a callous SOB and you want to choke him but the story evolves and he redeems himself in the end. There are certain triggers that some readers may identify as cheating and there will definitely be ones who don’t like Blade. For those MC romance lovers who like strong alpha males, a strong heroine who never stops fighting, some grit and violence and a good love story, this is one for you. I’m definitely reading the next in the series. (l
I would definitely read another of this author’s works. She crafted an entertaining story that flowed well. I enjoyed the relationship between badboy Blade and his innocent, yet bit of a wayward delinquent, Eve and how they progressed from distrustful attraction to full blown love. Have to say, their s*xy times blew me away. I loved Blade’s dirty-talk! My only complaint is it seemed some characters and events were sort of glossed over. I wanted more about Eve’s brother Benny, and more back story about Blade’s mother. Will these issues be covered in the next book? Eve and Blade’s story in “Lethal” ends on a HFN for them. I learned the next book will describe Dolly and Edge’s story, but will Blade and Eve also play prominent parts? The ending scene in “Lethal” shows Blade mentioning “vengeance” to his MC brother Ryder, then entering a room to greet someone named David who we haven’t yet met. Can’t wait to find out more, so please write quickly Cassandra! 4.5 stars.
Gah! This is one of those books you don’t want to end. I dragged my heels reading.
Eve and Blade’s story was so addictive. She’s a gypsy and payment for a debt, and he’s president of the Disciples MC. Both characters are polar opposites. Yet the chemistry between them is SMOKING HOT. Really enjoyed this book and hoping for a book 2.
Cassandra Robbins has been highly recommended by friends for a while now and I finally sat down and read her and all I can say is YES YES YES! Lethal was everything I hoped it would be in an MC book, but also so much more with a unique and captivating storyline and entertaining as hell characters. That includes the two main characters, Jason (Blade) and Eve, where I alternated wanting to strangle each of them—him because of his refusal to suck it up and admit his feelings and Eve because of her naivety to the situation she finds herself in! I love when an author does this though—makes you love and hate the characters at the same time. In the end though, it’s all love for the dirty sexy MC badasses and the young stubborn heroine in this story, as well as the suspenseful gripping plot. 5 stars for Lethal and I can’t wait for more Disciples!
Loved this book great writing can’t wait for the next one YES PLEASE
