ONE EXTRAORDINARY ADVENTURE
Hopping harlots homer! Emily unleashes one incredibly tantalizing, ground shaking, rock-my-world tempest with this tumultuous, highly combustible rollercoaster, busting down walls and bringing the heat, winding this baby up and letting her fly, catapulting this jewel to staggering heights. Shenanigans and mayhem descend in a flurry of heart pounding maneuvers and clever observations, cracked perimeters and obscured barriers solidify as limitations are amplified and enforced, secrets confessed, revelations unmasked and promises made, exhibiting the fierce quirks and defying bents, blasting this baby to life brilliantly. The deep undeniable attraction and high octane chemistry ignites with such intoxicating intensity and ardor, exploding with boundless emotions and infinite affection, drawing our characters closer, uniting them together flawlessly. The characters are complex, genuine and realistic with traits and qualities that balance and blend, adding amazing depth and diversity and enough spice to for one explosive ride. Throw in 100% on point realism, raising the stakes with such graphic scenarios that are so colorfully descriptive and vividly detailed its like you’re living it with them instead of on the sidelines, feeling everything the characters feel. Incredible job Emily, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.
This was an easy to read story with a lot of action, betrayal, a love and steamy scenes.
Beth is sure someone was trying to kill her when her friend was pushed onto the train tracks. She enlists the help of her old friend Wyatt who works for a security firm. While they search for the truth, they find each other.
The characters came across as believable. The story kept me bound to the book from beginning to end.
The speed with which the story is told is pleasant
Highly recommended

Lethal Peril is the second book of the Stealth Security series. I enjoyed the first book and this one also did not disappoint. Beth and Wyatt have been friends for a long time. Whenever she finds herself in trouble, Wyatt has always had her back. Now she finds herself in need of Wyatt’s help and protection more than ever. She is not only accused of embezzlement, but her life is also in danger. Wyatt works for Stealth Security and Beth decides to contact him and hire him as her bodyguard. They not only have to work together to keep from being killed, but they also need to find evidence to prove her innocence. This is an action-packed, romantic suspense story that will keep you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages. Great characters and a thrilling story, I enjoyed this book very much and look forward to reading the next installment.

I liked that Beth and Wyatt had a history, a friendship, and it was nice to see their relationship evolve and how they both dealt with that change, and their thoughts and feelings. I believed in their connection and chemistry and I liked the respect they had and showed each other as well as the support they gave one another. Family drama, friendships, twists, wrong doings, suspense, danger, passion and love are all mixed together in this good read.

This is book two in the Stealth Security series. Another great book in series. This book has it all, action, suspense, betrayal, love, and steam. It’s exactly what I’m looking for in a romantic suspense story. This series keeps getting better with each book. You can read this book as a standalone but they are connected so you will have some spoilers to book one and come across previous characters but none of this will cause issue with understanding what’s going on in this book. I can’t wait to get started on book three. Wyatt and Beth have known each other for years. Even though Beth hasn’t seen Wyatt since he left for the military he’s the only person she trusts when she realizes someone is trying to kill her. The longer they’re together the harder it is to keep their hands off each other. Will the survive all the danger after Beth? Is it possible for these two to make a relationship work? If you enjoy steamy, entertaining romantic suspense story you want to grab this book.

There’s plenty of action to go around. When Beth’s friend is murdered, thinking it was her, she knew she needed help. She called the one person she knew who could protect her, Wyatt. Afterall they were from the same city New York, but he lives in LA now. Once he was hired as her bodyguard they went back to New York. So get ready for intrigue, mystery and danger in the Big Apple. HEA. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is book two in The Stealth Security Series and it is Elizabeth and Wyatt’s story. Elizabeth and Wyatt have been friends since childhood so when Elizabeth knows that she is in danger it is Wyatt that she goes to for help to protect her as he is the only one that she trusts. Wyatt is a ex navy seal and he now works for Stealth Security but when Elizabeth comes to him for help as she is in danger Wyatt knows that he will do everything in his power to keep her safe and help her find out what is happening and who is targeting her. I absolutely love this book with all its twists and turns along with the strong connection and chemistry between Elizabeth and Wyatt and I couldn’t put this book down as I had to see what would happen next and who was after Elizabeth. Emily Jane Trent is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader’s attention and I definitely look forward to reading more of her books in the future.

I genuinely enjoyed the introductory novella to this series, but then struggled with the first in the series with finding the characters hard to get to know or like. Despite this, the blurb for these books drew me in again.
Unfortunately I feel rather the same about this book too. The premise and the way it plays out is mostly well written, but the characters in both voice and actions seemed “off” and I found it difficult to care about their safety or happiness.
Beth has this aura of entitlement and almost childishness about her. She gets ridiculously riled up over nothing, even when it’s just Wyatt trying to understand what’s going on – and all this despite the fact she actually went to him and hired him. She holds a grudge against Wyatt, but excuses her own behaviour for their last interactions before he left for the navy and judges his actions without really caring enough to understand his point of view.
Wyatt seems a little blasé for a bodyguard, with both a stabbing and robbery happening within the first few days of him taking over her personal protection and seems content following Beth around allowing her to delve into the embezzlement despite her nearly being killed for it.
There are good parts to this book, the storyline is great and there are lots of characters brought in to explain the story and be introduced for later books in the series I’m sure, but for me personally this book just seems to miss something character wise.
