That doesn’t mean he’s not looking for a distraction. After finding himself precariously wedged… naked and at the mercy of a drop-dead gorgeous … mercy of a drop-dead gorgeous construction worker, Carter hires his savior to renovate his home.
When Tanner Grady’s best friend and new niece needed him, he uprooted and relocated without a second thought. His life has since been centered on work and spending time with his family, but when he comes to the rescue of a cute vet, Tanner finds he’s a lot more interested in the homeowner than the house he’s renovating.

Ive just re-read all of these in preparation for the release of book 5. I liked that there Aussie based with believable characters and connections. Carter and Tanner, insta connection, tension and laughs, friendship and HEA
4.5 Stars
In true fashion, I started this series reading books 3 & 4. I didn’t have any issues diving right into them, and it was in those books that I was introduced to Carter and Tanner. I was happy to read their story. While I obviously knew they got their HEA, I had no idea what that entailed. I didn’t feel anything was spoiled, because as with most books in the romance genre, this series has a HEA in each book.
Carter had settled back into his hometown and was pretty happy about it. His family was still there, and he had a fantastic job, but his house…needed some work. This project brought Tanner into his life. They quickly hit it off, and while they both harbored wanting more, they developed an instant friendship. It was fun watching their friendship grow, and change into more. They fought it for a bit, but eventually, the pull was too much. This was a sweet story, and gave me a case of the goofy grins.
I felt like this was a well-constructed story with lovable and engaging characters. We are introduced to the MCs for the next book. Scott doesn’t get a very good first impression, but I feel like he has taken the first step to make things right, and like Carter, I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt for his upcoming book…but he has some work to do. The things he said to Carter was vile. Speaking of vile…I took away a half star because of some of the language Tanner used. I get it, it’s probably true to character, but I cringe when people use the word p**sy—noticeably cringe. I feel like it could have been left out, but that’s just my opinion. I round up, so the book will get 5 stars, but it will be noted. Besides that one, personal hiccup, I really enjoyed this book, and I already know I adore the series. I can’t wait to dive into book 2!

I loved this story! Tanner and Carter are sweet & sexy! And the story about Ken Dolls – priceless moment!! Loved every minute of this romance, already started book 2!
At first Conner and Tanner seem to be such total opposites that I just couldn’t figure out how the author could ever make them work, but before long I was totally sucked into this truly fun and romantic M/M romance. It’s got believable characters with distinct personalities and a unique story. Plus, probably one of the most unique “first meetings” I’ve read anywhere. Definitely enjoyed this one.
A same sex partners storytelling, a veterinarian and a construction worker having some physical chemistry , but for a guy who doesn’t take sh** from others about his sexual preference he for sure let his soon to be boss get him . The “ okay baby “ thing is so overrated , and just for that this story didn’t work out for me as I expected it.
Workplace bullying isn’t handled this easily. I would have appreciated a more realistic treatment. Otherwise entertaining.
What a beautiful romance! I loved every word
Straight up 2 people falling for each other.
Sweet
