When a veterinarian and a construction worker connect, it takes mishaps, mistakes, and a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Rex to show them they’re made for each other.Dr. Carter Falon is content living a quiet life in a small town caring for his animal patients. That doesn’t mean he’s not looking for a distraction. After finding himself precariously wedged… naked and at the mercy of a drop-dead gorgeous … mercy of a drop-dead gorgeous construction worker, Carter hires his savior to renovate his home.
When Tanner Grady’s best friend and new niece needed him, he uprooted and relocated without a second thought. His life has since been centered on work and spending time with his family, but when he comes to the rescue of a cute vet, Tanner finds he’s a lot more interested in the homeowner than the house he’s renovating.

This book made me laugh so hard…especially at the end. Loved the characters. I was rooting for them. I wanted them to fall in lust and in love. I think Carter’s Mom was actually the surprise star. I wanted like an entire book of just her being hilarious. True story.
I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest opinion. So here goes; I truly fell in love with Carter and Tanner. Individually they were great but together they were amazing; sweet as pie, hot as fire. It was so much fun to witness their relationship grow from a strong attraction to an even stronger love. I also loved some of the supporting characters. Carter’s parents were a hoot, especially his mom. Their relationship with their son was believable and oh-so loving. And let’s not forget Rex, the dog. Loved the humor, the love and all the feels. Great job, Ms. Seymour.
This is my first book by the author and I really enjoyed it. The angst is low and the character development is great. There are some really funny parts, too. I’m super curious about Davis and I’m dying to know what happens to Scott. This is a good ensemble story. Totally recommend.
Sweet love story
This was very enjoyable to read.
The storyline is good and progresses nicely to a happy ending
Well written characters that’s developed in to realistic personalities
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Great chemistry between the main characters that builds in to a sizzling love.
Great mm romance. 4 stars.
I’ve read this author before. This is a mm contemporary story with Carter and Tanner as they main characters. Both new to a small town in USA they find love with one another. Loved these characters, a vet and a handyman/ construction worker. Off to re read book 2. I would recommend reading this series in order.
Loved this book and just bought the next in the series!!

A compelling, cute and heartwarming story!
This was a new to me author and Becca’s style of writing is so easy to read, authentic, witty and heartwarming. I loved the opening meet-cute between Carter and Tanner and their story and connection just gets better from there!! As both characters adjust to life in a small town and take on some life changes along the way they are drawn together more and more.
I loved all the characters Bacc has created and really enjoyed the back and forth between Tanner and Carter and the hilarious medaling of both of their best friends. When Carter is unfortunately bullied at work, Tanner is there for him and while I hate the bully I loved the character development and growth of both Carter with his big heart and caring nature and the bully, who was lashing out, out of fear.
This is a feel-good read with great characters the perfect made family and so much heart you can’t help but all in love! I look forward to many more stories by Becca and just love these characters so much!!!

I was drawn to this book because Carter is a veterinarian. I’m so glad that I did read this one because the story is a heart felt one. Tanner and Carter are just too cute together. You can feel the chemistry right away. I mean their first meeting is quite memorable even though it’s slightly embarrassing for Carter. It made my heart happy that Carter has someone like Tanner in his corner. Things are a little tough for Carter, but someone with the heart like he does you know karma will work out for him. There is one part in this book that shows you how truly genuine and kind Carter is. This book delivers on the heat because things get quite steamy between Carter and Tanner. It’s a book I gobbled up quickly.
This book was everything to me I just couldn’t put it down.
The connection between Carter and Tanner was amazing they flirt so well together then their sexual banter had me chuckling …
They met as strangers which changed to friends that then in turn went to lovers .
The solid writing showed then moving forward slowly then into a beautiful relationship.
Both guys had different jobs but their closeness bought a slow burn to a heat.. That neither wanted cooled ..
It was a beautiful read with beautiful characters a wonderful story line.
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.
Carter finds himself stuck, and naked, when construction worker, Tanner comes to price up some renovations on his home. Tanner immediately takes a shine to the sexy but very shy vet. When Carter has problems at work, and when they go out, Tanner goes all alpha-male-MINE on Carter, and Carter thinks FINALLY! Tanner’s best friend needs him though, it’s why he moved to town. Can Tanner commit to Carter the way Carter wants, and needs?
OH, SO very stinking cute, this one! AND warm and fuzzies! I really kinda fell into this one, and it was SOOOOO good!
Carter isn’t looking for love, it kinda finds him and knocks him for six. Tanner is a breath of fresh air, and after weeks of flirting they FINALLY get down and dirty. I mean, I was waiting, and waiting and bloody WAITING for them to get their act together and give in to the attraction but it takes them FOREVER!!!
BUT!!!
I LOVED that it did! The tension between builds over time, and I really did appreciate being made to wait for the main event.
It’s not overly dramatic, with no real drama, just a guy in a bad place taking it out on Carter at work. It’s not especially explicit, but it IS so bloody sexy. It’s not too complicated a plot to follow and there is no real violence.
There is, though, a lotta love! A lot of people love Carter and Tanner, together and separately. And they make no bones about what they want for their friends, which is for Carter and Tanner to be together.
It’s well written, from both Carter and Tanner’s point of view, in the first person. Each voice is clear and distinctive, and each change of voice occurs as the chapter changes and is clearly headed. I saw no spelling or editing errors to spoil my reading.
It’s one of those books you just FALL into, you know. You can lose a couple of hours on a wet and windy Tuesday morning, after all the chores are done, you sit down with a cuppa tea, and read a bit, and before you know it, the book is finished!
It really was far too stinking cute for its own good, and you know what?? I wrote four stars at the top of the page, but I can’t figure out why, so changing my mind, and giving it the full..
5 stars

If you love your romance without a lot of angst (which I do most of the time), Seymour delivers beautifully. Tanner and Carter have a fun first meet that kinda makes it hard to ignore their attraction to each other but they do try. Once their feelings overcome that whole contractor/client thing though, it is pretty much a done deal.
Tanner & Carter complement each other quiet well and work to create a nicely-developed relationship. There is a little trouble at work for Carter but he does his best to handle it, with support from Tanner & friends. It adds that little bit of drama to an otherwise smooth read of strangers becoming friends then becoming even more.
If you prefer warm fuzzies (and some heat) to commotion and hullabaloo in your romance, Let Me Show You is a perfect choice. With characters to pull for, a romance to give you feels, and enough steam to keep you turning pages, Seymour’s latest has it all.
**Review given honestly and freely after receipt of a reader copy. This opinion is completely my own and was not influenced in any way.**

“Let Me Show You” by Becca Seymour spotlights veterinarian Carter Falon, who is renovating the house he inherited from his grandfather, and Tanner Grady, who has uprooted his life to support his best friend who has become a single dad. A memorable first meeting gradually develops into a sizzling relationship, but it seems that life in the small town of Kirkby may not be as peaceful as they would like.
This contemporary gay romance is a sweet celebration of multiple facets of love—between best friends, adult and child, human and pet, friends, family, and lovers. Although there is a conflict, for me, it seems a little forced and the resolution is even more awkward, but that doesn’t detract from the warmth that is evoked by the love and affection that the rest of the characters share with each other. One can’t help but be charmed by the darling Libby and sweet Rex, touched by the blossoming relationship that develops between the main characters, and amused by Carter’s irrepressible mom. I was a little disappointed that someone with the drive to become a veterinarian would fail to be his own advocate, especially with the support system he has, but I understand that something was needed to provide a bit of angst and possibly lead to a sequel. This is a quick undemanding love story that gives the reader a warm fuzzy feeling and a reason to cheer for two bighearted men who find that missing piece in their lives.

If you’re ever at a darker moment in your life and you need an emotional uplifting, this is the book you need to read. You’ll meet Carter and Tanner, gentle and caring, all around good guys, that finally get their chance at a happily ever after.
Let Me Show You is a sweet and funny, angst free love story with delightful characters and exactly what I needed.
So I loved Carter and Tanner. I loved the dynamics and how well they work together. Sure their first meeting was awkward, I mean being naked and stuck isn’t a cool way to meet the first time. It’s obvious that Carter is dedicated to his job. His has a following that comes back time and time again. Things get weird after a night out with Tanner and this is when the story gets off a little. I get that the author was trying to introduce a new character for another book but it took away from Tanner and Carter I think. Yes Carter was able to help him out and Tanner got to go all Alpha male, which is always fun. Tanner is committed to his friends and jobs. He came to this small town to help a friend raise his daughter and then fell in love. He’s a fun character and loyal. I liked this book and honestly can’t wait for the next book by this author. It was my first from her but I don’t think it will be my last.
Liked the characters and their story. A good read. But not interested in the rest of the series.
This is a low angst, sweet read. Carter is a vet and Tanner is a carpenter. When Tanner get a job working on rehabbing Carter’s old house a relationship slowly develops.
This is a sweet friends to lovers story with a sub-plot involving bullying. There’s also a meaningful theme of various forms of friendship.
Loved this amazing story!!! Could not put it down…stayed up way to late to finish it..especially loved the mom character…I could relate to her…overall recommend this TBR added to your book reads!!!
This was such a sweet comfort read. It was also one the best introduction of the MC’s to each other. It was lighthearted and hilarious and just wonderful. It also just fit these two perfectly. I loved that Carter was both shy about his feelings and about voicing things to Tanner and at the same time he still was such a great communicator. Also, the ending with Tanner’s surprises was hilarious as well. I wish I could see their house, because it sounded idyllic and I know I would have gladly lived there. I also loved the addition of Rex and that Scott was able to share his struggles with Carter. I loved Dennis and Libby and cannot wait to read their story next! Great start to the series. I listened to the audio narration and I thought it was done well. Chris Chambers is one of my favorites and I have not heard that many by him so that was nice. John Solo narrated Carter’s part and thought he brought him out well. Definitely recommend this series and am going to move forward with it.
This was a good overall romance with minimal tension. The characters were my favorite part of the book. Seymour does a wonderful job of constructing interesting personalities.
I usually prefer more action and angst, but this was a nice break.
The narrator, Chris Chambers, is one of my favorites, and he added a bit of flavor to the story.
This a great read if you are looking for a low angst book with some sweet moments.
I loved this low angst, no break-up story between Carter and Tanner! The sweet Vet and the no nonsense Contractor made a perfect pair. And while Carter did have to suffer through a horrible situation at work, Tanner was always there to support him. I’m excited to see what the rest of the series holds!
