Let Me Go is the fifth book in the Eva Rae Thomas mystery series. It was my favorite read in the series. An excellent story and apparently based on real events. Eva Rae is searching for a serial killer that no one believes exists because he performs the perfect murder. He phones the police reporting people threatening individuals with guns. The police arrive ready for trouble and it becomes ‘murder by police.’ A very intense, excellent read.
A powerful writer of suspense thrillers.
It took me a while to finish this book, but I attribute that to the subject matter and the sensitivity of the material to the times at hand. At times it was disturbing and for those of us that have lived in a protective bubble for most of our lives it opens doors to our world that most of us would rather not venture through.
Well written thriller.
Clever plot, good detecting and very well written.
No idea why it was called Let Me Go, that sounds like a kidnapping tale which this was not. A lot of people die during this book making it a bit harrowing for me, but true crime thriller lovers will really enjoy this.
Loved it and will looks for other Willow Rose books
There is a serial killer on the loose–but only Eva Rae realizes it. She is bound and determined to figure out who it is and stop them! Her obsession gets so that she ignores her boyfriend and her children. When she figures out who the next victim is–she tries to tell the boys father. Of course he does not believe her–and the boy is murdered. Even worse–this killer is using the police to do the murdering!!
The boys father teams up with her in hopes of catching who ever is behind all this.
More people die via the police—finally the FBI begins to believe Eva Rae.
The twists and turns in this one will leave you gasping—and I did not guess who the culprit was until it was revealed!!
Excellent!!
This book shows our heroine Eva Rae Thomas struggling to balance her two lives, that of her family and that of her law enforcement career. Her two lives can’t stay separate in this story and sometimes clash and even overlap.
Recommended page turner, but police/swat teams may not like it as it shows them as trigger happy. It is written similar to James Patterson books – short chapters, many cliff hangers. A short, quick to read page turner about an ex-FBI profiler who devotes all her time (her poor kids and boyfriend) to tracking down a suspected serial killer. I could follow along despite not reading the first 4 in the series, but am curious as to what happened in those.
Was a surprise to me who the culprit was.
This is so interesting and a page turner. You can never quite figure it out. Surprise ending. Very good book.
everything by Willow Rose is excellent

I love every book by Willow Rose I have read. They grab me from the start, and are hard to put down.
Was a little slow in the beginning and difficult to follow. Improved and was a good read after that
