He was eighteen. The heir to a notorious, criminal MC. And my student. There was no way I could get involved. No way I could stay involved. Then, no way I could get out alive. An MC student/teacher romance.
How could I fall for an 18 year old biker? I feel dirty and I don’t even care.

This was my first book of Gianna Darling’s as well as my first MC and student/teacher. I have to say i really enjoyed the whole MC family aspect. King was a fantastic hero who completely and utterly worshiped his Queen. He stuck by her even when she was being totally and utterly absurd. King and Cressida had amazing chemistry, and the sex was off the wall HOT!!!!
I did feel that it was a little slow for me to really get going. The first chapter really pulled me in but then it just sort of went to
..meh… but then it started to pick up and then really took off.
Cressida was a character I struggled to connect with unfortunately. Her treatment and let’s be honest, disrespect, was something I didn’t like, but I cannot deny that herself with King was electric, when she allowed it.
Loved all the additional characters, Kings dad, Zeus, seems to be an intriguing man, as well as his sister, H.R. The MC family are the family we all want really, and at times in this book I really felt my heart soar when they would really stick together.
Looking forward to reading more from this author.

This book so absolutely amazing. Giana was a new author to me, so I didn’t really know what to expect. I don’t usually read books where there is an age gap of “older woman, younger guy”. It’s just not my trope. I have to say though, that this book did it right! I was a little worried going in thinking it would be hard to get into, but this story just had an ebb and flow to it that made it so easy to get lost in. It had everything I love in a book: great story, likable characters, chemistry between the main characters, plenty of sexy times, and a good amount of action. I highly recommend this book!!

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this book, I was on the fence about a student/teacher romance but I was going to give it a try because the reviews were good and I love MC books.
Needless to say, I loved it.
I love King, his confidence and his smarts, the way he talks to Cressida about how he feels and how she should let go and be free to be herself. It was a very good story line.
The MC element was big too, which I love, I’ve been through a flurry of MC books that didn’t have ANY MC aspects and I hate that so I was really glad to see they were a big influence.
It was so good and the rest of the series that’s out was equally as well written.

I read this book in the series after I’d read Welcome to the Darkside. So I knew the outcome of King and Cres’s love affair from the get go. It totally didn’t matter I was hooked from the first page. Giana Darling has a way of writing the taboo so you are rooting for the rule breakers. The romance was epic the sex was toe curling. A complete guilty pleasure to be read again and again. Honestly after reading all of Giana Darling’s books I honestly can’t say which couple is my favorite. King is definitely up there as a romantic lead! He’s such an old soul.

I never thought I would say that l loved a teacher\student romance. Giana wrote this in such a way that the 8-year difference did not feel nasty. In so many ways, KIng was the mature one in the relationship.
I quite love the MC family and how they embraced Cressida.
It was good to see her growth throughout the story, from her days with her ex-husband and now her days returning to college to complete her Masters.

Amazing book! This is a super angsty and hot book between a teacher and her bad boy biker student. Don’t worry he is of legal age. This is a great rollercoaster ride that everyone needs to read!

A taboo trope that I hopelessly fell in love with. Again, Giana is a masterful poet with her words and makes normal boyfriends/husbands look like duds compared to her male characters. I adored this book and I bet you will as well 🙂

This was the first book I had read by this author. I had been meaning to read her, but always got sidetracked.. I had nothing but amazing things, so I finally just did it. I’m hooked to say the least. I had never read a book or series with age gaps(more than 3-5 years), but this one reeled me in fast.
King is a hot biker that Cressida, a bored housewife, married to a stuffy man ten years her senior, who is best friends with her father. She feels cloistered, trapped, and is realizing she wants more out of life. That all changes when she sees King Garro, the son of The Fallen Men MC’s leader. She is enamored with him and once home she decides this is it. She has had enough. She files for divorc, buys a house and makes her own life.
She finally meets King, but not under the circumstances she had hoped for. It brings a myriad of emotion but she has a choice to make. Go against everything and everyone and be happy or be broken hearted and lonely forever.
The story is amazing, the characters are amazing, you become invested in them quickly. So glad I chose to read this series. I am loving it. It has it all. The angst, action, steamy scenes, funny and downright sweet moments, and some twists and turns thrown in as well. Can’t wait to read more by her.

I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I started this book. I’ve had so many friends tell me this author is amazing you have to read her work. I didn’t even know it was MC until I got into it, I was SOOOOO excited. And then… my stomach drops. Student/teacher and I’m all like dammit I’m a gross cougar I have kids younger then him and I’m all omg I love king and not so secretly wishing to have King and Zeus!! Needless to say the book just got more and more incredible. So many unexpected twists and turns, with a GENEROUS helping of cavemantic biker brethren. Darling expertly turned my stomach drop to butterfly flip flops and leaves me wanting more!! Well done, now on to book two!

The forbidden is the trope to be right now, there’s something about that Apple that keeps getting juicier and juicier.
Cressida Jones is a teacher and a recent divorcee. She’s trying to live her life in small town and teaching English in a private high school. One of her students is biker protegée -King Kyle Garro, son of the Prez Zeus Garro, of Fallen Angels MC . Hes all of 18, full of sexy swagger and cocky grin and he’s fallen hard for Cress.
I loved the settung but had trouble digesting some unbelievable scenarios.
The story is very hot though. Please check it out and enjoy

Giana Darling did a great job on this book. Lessons in Corruption was a great story. It was well written and had a great plot. King and Cressida were strong characters. Both were great caring people. Loved how they knew from one look they were meant for each other. Even when Cress tried to back off, King still wouldn’t give up on her. Cress and King were made for each other. Their chemistry was off the charts sizzling. I enjoyed their story. They were great together. I highly recommend reading this story. It’s a 5 star read.
Thank you, Giana Darling. Great work 🙂

Oh, this series is just so good. I actually read Welcome to the Dark Side first and then Lessons in Corruption. Two of my very favorites for 2018. This one is a bit naughty as it’s about an 18 yr old student and his teacher, but to be fair they met before he was in class the first time. Anyway, it works…. definitely works. She’s a bit sheltered for her age and growing up in an MC, he is very mature for his age. BIG hotness factor here, wonderful likable characters, realistic tough as nails MC with a firm sense of family. There is just nothing I do not like about this book!!

I am in love! This is the first book I’ve read by Ms. Giana Darling and… Oh Em Goodness… It is definitely not my last! I am officially obsessed and all I’ve had is a taste!
Amazing writing! Fantastic storyline! Some of the best characters I’ve met in a while! From the opening line to the last page turn, I was hooked! I devoured this book in one sitting, completely ignoring everyone and everything until I reached the end. Let me just say, I do NOT feel guilty about it at all because I absolutely loved King and his Queen!!

I’m always a tad leery of student/teacher romances, but after reading Welcome to the Dark Side, I knew I had to give this a chance. I’m glad I did, because I loved how this one played out.
I just loved Cressida and her King. Though our lives are quite different, I could really empathize with her. The people who controlled her her entire life made me so angry and I loved seeing her break away from those expectations and become her own person.
And King? I mean, how can you not fall in love with this bad boy biker? He was sweet and swoony and wasn’t afraid to be himself or do what had to be done to protect those he loved. He was just what Cress needed after all she’d been through.

This story drew me in from the very beginning. I loved that seeing King for the first time (when she had no clue who he was) was the catalyst for Cressida to up-end her life and start fresh. I liked how the author chose to begin the relationship without disclosing to Cressida that King was a student so they had a foundation built before that bombshell—to me it felt more realistic than a teacher just having the hots for her student. The push/pull within Cressida between the life she was raised in and the life she was trying to create added an interesting element, but the amount of back-and-forth was almost too much for me. King was an fascinating mixture of MC bad boy and studious, sensitive poet. The combination further helped me understand Cressida’s inability to stay away. Additionally, there were several supporting characters that intrigued me enough to want their stories, so the author left me wanting more of this world she created.

I won’t lie, the trope in this book almost had me turning my back on it before getting to know Cressida and King.
I’m so glad I gave it a chance because reading about Cressida growing through the pain to become King Kyle Garro’s “rough and tumble Queen” made my heart sing for these two.
Never forget that no matter what life is about balance and growth. Sometimes that balance is sweet, but a lot of times that balance and growth hurt more than anyone could ever imagine.
While King and Cressida do find their happily ever after, there is still an entity waiting to destroy Zeus and the rest of The Fallen.

The only thing that held me back to read this book the instant it was available was the age gap between the main characters and the fact that the hero was younger than the heroine because that’s usually what I avoid in books. I’m also not very keen on the student/teacher romance but I loved the author’s previous books and she managed to put my mind at ease with a taboo topic before, so, why not now too?!
It turned out to be a decent story and since the age gap was not that huge because the heroine was only twenty-six years old, I found myself enjoying this book.
Now you’re probably wondering why I rated this book with three stars when I just said that I enjoyed this book. So, let me explain:
I guess it all comes down to Cressida’s character. There were many things that bothered me about her, from the inner voices to the immaturity and her constant outbursts of anger. She annoyed me and I just didn’t like her. At first, she behaved like a teenager having her first crush – it’s not that I mind reading about teenagers, but this just did not fit to Cressida’s very conservative character, no matter how much she wanted to be different, one simply cannot change within a second.
She was rude, judgmental and got angry at King all the time even when he did the loveliest things for her, for which she didn’t even thank him once. Cress also always dug up the same topics when she was mad and threw it in his face without a care in the world for his feelings, just to be sorry for it shortly after. There were too many repeats of that and I didn’t understand how King didn’t dump her eventually after having thrown in his face for the umpteenth time that she wasn’t OK with the criminal MC world he lived in.
It didn’t really feel like a MC novel to be honest, which could be because King was not a member yet. He was only a biker and the son of the Prez but he was involved in everything just the same which had me a bit confused for several reasons. But I have not much knowledge of MCs and it’s still fiction, so anything’s possible, right?!
I didn’t like – especially considering her past and previous lifestyle – how Cressida went into a dark alley with a stranger without second thoughts. It was just so out of character for her and although I know she wanted to escape her strict, boring and safe world, it was still all very extreme considering that she hopped on a bike with a stranger. I just wished they’d have met differently.
King Kyle Garro was a pretty arrogant boy, but hey, he was a biker, you kind of expect him to be that way. He sometimes was even more mature than Cress.
Why Cress pushed a student to open up about his sexual preferences was beyond me. Also, the constant mention of her as a Queen did not sit well with me as it was repeated too often, and the ‘nickname’ did not at all reflect her character, no matter how bad she wanted it to be. Someone who always ran away before thinking about the situation at hand was not deemed to be a Queen.
I don’t like comparing books but it’s just after I’ve read Sinclair and Giselle’s story I was so excited for a new book by this author that I got a bit disappointed with this story because I know she can do so much better. And by that I don’t mean the typos in this book.
Anyhow, there were some very good and some not so good parts in this book, it was a mix of up and down for me. All in all, it was a great read though. I have a feeling that the author’s only warming up and that her next MC stories will get much better. I’ll definitely read Zeus story because he was a very intriguing character in this book.
