He was eighteen. The heir to a notorious, criminal MC. And my student. There was no way I could get involved. No way I could stay involved. Then, no way I could get out alive. An MC student/teacher romance.
Cressida has a life changing meeting that makes her realize that she is not happy in her boring cookie cutter life. She asks her husband for a divorce and moves out to start out on her own at 26 years old. She is a history and English teacher at the local fancy private school where she is starting to make friends and become the new Cressida. When the other teachers invite her out for drinks at the local bar she sees the biker, King, that gave her the awakening that prompted her to leave her husband. He convinces her to go on a ride on his Harley. Great night follow by another great date night and Cressida finds her new student who has been skipping classes the last few days is non-other than her King.
King is freaking amazing. I wish I had one of him when I was in high school. Talk about bad boy swoon. He was heir apparent to the local motorcycle club but genius extraordinaire. Extremely loyal and devoted to his family but knew in his heart that he was capable of great things and didn’t want to waste that. On top of all that he had a heart of gold that he knew without a doubt belonged to Cressida. I loved that he was dead set on what he wanted but didn’t push her too hard. Just kept reminding her what he could offer her and that he was there waiting. Ugh, I loved him so much. Cressida I didn’t love right away and looking back it is only because she didn’t submit to King right away which is dumb. After thinking on it her attraction and turmoil was real. Her struggle with trying to accept her attraction to her 18 year old student, the struggle with his connections to the club and her struggle with trying to break the mold that was so ingrained in her – it was all real and I respected that it was there and it wasn’t an insta roll over and jump into his bed literally and figuratively. I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait to dive into the next one in this series.

I loved this story of King, the son of the Prez of The Fallen and his teacher Cressida. Their love is pushed to the limits and look to the end. Cressida is still young at heart and love with conquer all. King never gives up on her and never will. Loved seeing their story unfold.

Loved reading this. It’s a great start to King and Cress and the empire King is set to inherit. It’s a forbidden romance but you can feel how good they are for each other and chemistry is explosive. I had a hard time being able to put it down that I ended up reading it in one sitting.

King and his Queen
Did I expect to be completely charmed by an 18yr old biker? Um no, but that’s somehow what happened with this one.
Despite this being a student/teacher romance, I found myself understanding and emphasising with the love between King and Cressida. I really did enjoy their story. The only negative I have is not getting King’s POV which I would’ve liked to have seen, otherwise this was a pretty good read and I’d recommend it to those who like MCs.

What a great book! So many things to love. I love the characters the storyline, the quiet confidence and dominance from King, the sassy Cress who is the quiet submissive, the drama, the suspense the twists and turns and if course the HEAT from the connection between King and Cress. I enjoyed the sex scenes too. This is my first book from this author and if won’t be the last. I enjoyed get style of writing. If j could give this book more than 5 * I would. Loved it!! Going to read book #2 right now!!!

This book and author is a first for me and I didn’t know what to expect. This is book one in the The Fallen Men series. ( #1)
Cressida’s is a young woman who feels like her life is going nowhere good, she feels like the daily round of same old is doing her head in abit. She was quite mopey and ashamed to say not really very happy. Life itself feels quite suffocating for her. Cressida one day decides enough is enough and decides to make a change and up and leaves.
Cressida meets a man King and she starts spending alot of time with each other, their chemistry is so strong, their connection even more so.
There is only one small problem, Cressida is his teacher and another thing he’s only 18 years old. She could lose her job and all sorts, them being together could bring a whole host of issues.
King’s forbidden romance with his teacher Cressida is very strong and he wants her badly
He definitely wanted it more than her I feel and was quite pushy, this story is a very taboo situation, very life changing and totally forbidden love.
These characters do have an explosive amount of sexual attraction between each other, but this is a forbidden love story. This isn’t supposed to be happening. They knew it was wrong but couldn’t stop themselves.
This is a dangerous story and someone is bound to get hurt.
I think the author writes brilliantly however I just wasn’t feeling the story line.
I wasn’t really sure about this book and I think that this time that this story wasn’t for me. This book is full of twists and shockers I couldn’t believe some of the shocks.
Thank you to the author and publishers for allowing me to read an early copy of this book.
ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.

Cressida has always been the good girl. She was sheltered growing up and eventually groomed to marry the best friend of her father, William Irons. Cressida always wanted to branch out and experience life but there was always someone putting her down for it. William was much like Cressida’s parents. He was old fashioned and very conservative/possessive. William eventually “allows” Cressida to become a teacher. Mainly because it would still allow her to be home in time to have supper on the table when he comes home from work. Well one day Cress sees this guy at the grocery store and basically falls for him right then and there. They spark up a romance after Cress leaves her husband. Unbeknownst to Cress, this new found love was actually one of her students.
King Garro was this swoon worthy character you couldn’t help but fall for. I will go ahead and say for the record that he was 18 and Cress was 26 during the story. Everyone was legal. With that out of the way, King’s father Zeus was part of a motorcycle club called The Fallen. Like most motorcycle clubs, trouble seems to follow them and that leads us on a very thrilling ride.
This story was so hard to put down. I loved reading it and would pick it up whenever I had a spare moment. The only reason this wasn’t a 5 star to start off with is because of Cress. That woman drove me nuts at times. Sure she’s very naive and sheltered but she was beyond wishy washy. She would say she wanted King and whatever that entailed but the moment things got rough, she was throwing in the towel. I also hated how when she got upset, she would throw King’s age in his face. I felt that was a low blow.
But other than that, I loved this book. I wish I could follow each MC member as they find their Queen (the MC’s nickname for Cressida). I am happy to have at least have two more books in this world. I’ll be starting those ASAP.

Usually I don’t like and I avoid reading books where heroine is older than Hero but here I didn’t notice the difference in their age at all. Cress was groomed her whole life to be someone’s obedient wife. She didn’t have any friends and she didn’t experience many things every other girl her age already did. King, although younger, was more mature and experienced than her. At the times she was immature, insecure and ungrateful. And sometimes her behavior annoyed me but I could still understand her and I really loved her character.King is kind, smart and he is so charming. He loves to read,he read Wuthering Heights(my favorite book) and if you ask me he is perfect! I found my new book boyfriend and I don’t care that he is eighteen.
Right from the start they were so adorable together. My cheeks were hurting from how much I was smiling. Every single interaction between them was beyond adorable and I couldn’t get enough of them together. I’m in love with Giana’s writing and I can’t wait to read next book in this series

Yay!! An age gap book that goes the other way. Age gap is a favourite troupe of mine and most you read are older man/younger woman. So I was over the moon to read this one from the other prespective.
I bet I wasn’t the only one who gave a big woohoo when Cressida finally walked away from the boring old coot she was married to. You’d have more fun playing with a wet paper bag than being married to that.
After spotting a hot guy across the parking lot the last thing she expects is him to walk into her classroom.
King is a personality to be reckoned with. He was never going to take no for an answer when it came to Cressida.
These 2 great characters had chemistry from the start and it just got more combustable as the story goes on. From start to the dreaded The End ths book with drag you through every feeling, emotion, twist and turn and what’s more you’ll love every second of the ride.

I didn’t realise but I had got this book over a year ago and then downloaded it again from Bookfunnel at the end of December, why the heck I didn’t start reading it until now is a mystery, anyway I started it and then all of a sudden I’d finished it. I was that captivated, I couldn’t put it down, I loved King and could have smacked Cressida up side her head when she kept saying about the age difference, it’s only 8 years and if it was the other way around nothing would be said. Of course there is the matter of him being her student, though I would say he is the age of consent, it may of been wrong, but I loved it anyway, so much so I have purchased the next two books in the Fallen MC, Zeus and Harleigh Rose’s stories.

WOW! What a introduction that was to the Fallen Men Series.
When i hear MC romance i jumped at reading this book, having the age gap was even more of hook for me!
Cressida had been a child bride to a much older man that her parents had approved of, when she finally got her Independence, she starts living the life she wants to have and that includes risking it all for King Kyle Garro; the smart, extremely good looking student.
When King sets his sights on something he never gives up, bringing a apple every day and being on his best behavior might just get him what he wants.
I personally LOVED this story, i think i read the book at least 10 times. Darling has introduced me to her amazing world and i just wish i could jump in and be part of it.
Bring on book 2!!!

Let’s just say I didn’t read the blurb before diving in to this one, I’ve just heard amazing things about this series and I FINALLY started it. I was a little hesitant once I started reading because of the subject matter, I haven’t ever found the urge to read a student (H)/teacher (h) book (even if he IS 18 so realllly I mean…) where it has to do with a high school student so that had me a little worried. I felt like it was worked through though, since obviously ethically being his teacher it’s seen as wrong and Queenie obviously saw that and struggled throughout the book with it, but the amount of going back and forth got kind of frustrating- same sh*t, different day basically… there’s only so many times you can use the same excuse m’dear! But King was never deterred, he was the definition of a man that knew what he wanted and was persistent. The maturity of King really did make it seem like the two of them were closer in age than they actually were. Last comment, but can I just say that their chemistry was OFF. THE. CHARTS. Whew *fans myself* This was definitely a great introduction in to this series and I can’t wait to read more!

Lessons In Corruption is a sexy and sensuous age gap romance about a newly single teacher that has fallen for her 18 year old student.
King Garro is next in line as President of his father’s motorcycle club, but his passion for poetry and his interest in his teacher are above everything else.
Cressida has lived a lifeless marriage for the past 8 years and becomes instantly captivated by King when they lock eyes on each other in a grocery store parking lot. Their secret love-life is everything I wanted in a student/teacher romance.
What makes this story even more enticing is when King takes the upper-hand of their relationship and becomes everything Cressida has ever needed from a protector to a lover!

I just love him and Cressida together. They’re chemistry is AMAZING! Cressida’s growth from stepford to biker babe was awesome to see. I love when she gets crazy!
As much as I loved King, I am ready for Daddy Zeus! I can’t wait to get my hands on Zeus Garro!

I actually read the 2nd and 3rd books in this series before reading this one. After reading the 2nd, I just kept going, and I don’t regret putting some time between those and this one. King Garros is an amazing book boyfriend. Cressida has some moments where she’s a tad bit melodramatic, but I’ll cut her some slack. Overall, I loved this series. I would recommend to anyone who loves MC romance. Even those who don’t. I started this series not really caring for the MC romance, and now I’m reading quite a few.

King Kyle Garro= King of my Heart
I haven’t swooned over a book boyfriend like this in AGES. But oh my goodness, King was EVERYTHING. Sweet, sexy, loyal to a fault and worshipped his Queen like I’d never seen. I loved watching him chase after her even when she was hot and cold every once in a while. The level of possession (and obsession) was HOT which made the love scenes amazingly sinful and delicious. Definitely one of my top teacher/student romances. I devoured this story in one day and I cannot WAIT for the next Fallen Men chapter!!

This is the story of Cressida and King. A teacher and a student and that tightrope of line crossing.
This couple meet, across a parking lot, and it alters both of their lives. They don’t speak, they just connect, and meet later and realize that attraction that was there in the parking lot, morphed into something else when they are face to face.
This MC story is intense, sometimes violent, and always sensual. The Fallen Men series grabs the reader from book 1 and doesn’t let go!
