He keeps his emotions on a tight leash, but she can see the desire burning in his eyes…Timur Amurov has one purpose in life: protect his family at all costs. With lethal skills honed from a violent upbringing, Timur is a leopard shifter who sees any newcomers as possible threats–and the petite blond barista who his sister-in-law, Evangeline, has hired to work in her bakery is definitely hiding … definitely hiding something. While Timur still needs to determine if Ashe is an enemy, he does know that she is the only woman whose presence has ever truly calmed the beast roaring inside of him.
Ashe Bronte is well aware she has a type: sexy, gorgeous and dangerous as hell. Despite the fact that Timur is all those things and more, Ashe is in San Antonio for reasons that do not involve getting wild with a ruthless leopard–and she cannot afford to make any mistakes. But Timur has ignited something deep within her, and even though she knows she should keep her distance, every move he makes has her craving a taste…

A lot like Lora Leigh’s breeds. Enjoyable read.
I love it. It has everything you want in a book.
All her books no matter which series you read are “WONDERFUL” In my top 5 favorite authors.
I always look forward to the books in this series and Leopard’s Run was worth the wait.
Timur has always been the emotionless, guarded enforcer for Fyodor; ice in his eyes and running in his veins. A man/leopard on the edge. A borderline psychopath.
Ashe is on the run seeking “refuge” with Evangeline. She is definitely more than what you expect. She calms those around her, and for Timur, she answers in him the bloodthirsty leopard raging to be set free. Her own leopard is emerging and when she mates with Temnyy, both humans and leopards set everything afire in the vicinity.
He’s going to protect everyone around him even if it drags him further the darkness. It’s who he is. She is a spitfire and will not tolerate being controlled. She learned to protect herself as a child, and that instinct is dead accurate.
The world of leopards is easy to get lost in. And having all of the characters I love come together makes this another winner.
I enjoy all of her boks
I read all of Ms. Feehan books love all her characters.
As always, she has written a book I’ll be reading more then once
Whew! Steamy and dangerous and just what I love in a Christine Feehan novel! If you haven’t grabbed this one yet, it a perfect steamy read for a chilly holiday weekend, just sayin’… 🙂
I love this Leopard people series! Everyday people doing everyday things but there are people trying to kill them! When Evangeline gets a new girl at her baker Ashe, Fyodor and Timur are not happy about it as someone is trying to hurt Evangeline. When Timur gets a look at her he can’t believe she may be a spy out to destroy them but when Timur leopard get near her he finally calms for the first time in hundreds of years. When Ashe explains to Timur why she came and that if it would harm Evangeline she would go but neither Timur nor his leopard would have that so they stay and fight together.

I love all of the books in the Leopard Series and never want the series to end. This is the story of Timur, Alonzo’s brother, and Ashe. In common fashion, Timur is a bossy leopard who finds his mate in Ashe. Christine weaves a wonderful story filled with love and a lot of action. Luved it!
I love the Amurov leopards!
Another Amurov leopard has found his true mate. Timur has lived his entire life shrouded in darkness, his sister-in-law gave him hope that he would find his light. But he didn’t really believe until Ashe Bronte joined the bakery. She brings her light to his darkness and unleashes the Timur he buried to protect himself and his leopard. This book is a wonderful addition to the leopard novels. It gives us all hope that there is a light in the darkness for all of us. I can’t wait to see which of the leopards find their true mate next!
Protecting his family is Timur’s one purpose in life until he has to determine is Ashe in the enemy even though she calms the beast roaring inside him. Ashe Bronte can’t make any mistakes, but Timur has ignited something deep within her.
This pulse pounding and explosive shifter romance is wicked and wild with strong, bold characters that demand readers’ attention and refuse to let go. The romance between Timur and Ashe is hot and spicy as her inner leopard awakens but the relationship has a few obstacles to be overcome, some of which are emotional which brings these characters to life as it gives depth that readers can easily connect to and some of which are outside influences that cause lots of chaos and strife. Readers can’t help but fall for any of the Leopard shifters in this series as they are dark, alpha men with hidden depths that tugs at heartstrings and Timur certainly fits that description with a capital T while Ashe is a feisty and daring feline that has lots of appeal.
The Amurov brothers’ enemies are closing in from all directions and if they don’t discover just who they all are they just might lose not only everything they’ve worked for but those they hold dear and Readers won’t want to miss a thing during this fast paced and smooth flowing plot that is full of explosive action and thrilling suspense. The story is further enhanced as betrayals are revealed and surprising twists keeps the characters on their toes. Once again, this fascinating and pulse pounding series entertains readers and ensures that they want to re-read these books often.
I love the interaction between Timur and Ashe. They burn up the pages with scorching passion and intense passion. Their acceptance of each other and how opposite, yet similar, kept me rapt with interest and curiosity. I never really knew what would happen next!
Leopard’s Run was HOT! Christine Feehan is an excellent storyteller! This is a must read!
The Leopard series has always been one the harder ones for me to read, just due to their solitary nature. The men work together but after the job they pretty much go their separate ways and due to the lairs being so spread out it doesn’t foster that family type atmosphere that is so present in the other series. However, Leopard’s Run changes all that with the second family member in the lair finding the one. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a new read or that has read the Leopard series in the past. It can be read as a stand alone but reading Leopard’s Fury will give you a better understanding of the primary characters.
Timur and Ashe are both stronger characters and this readily apparent in there first meeting, where her sass quickly is made apparent and he realizes that she is not what she seems to be.
Ashe is there needing help and when she saw that Evangeline had married, she hoped she had found the one that could help her avenge her parents. Little did she know that she would be finding something that she wasn’t looking for, something that would give her more than she ever imagined
As Timur finds out more about Ashe ‘s past, he also had to contend with his Uncle’s messenger arriving on the scene but is the messenger seeking the males or is the messenger there for Ashe. Lots of twists and turns, family secrets come out, family ties will be revealed. Leopard’s Run
LEOPARD’S RUN is the eleventh instalment in Christine Feehan’s contemporary, adult LEOPARD PEOPLE erotic, paranormal, romance series focusing on the supernatural world of the leopard shifter. This is leopard enforcer Timur Amurov, and barista Ashe Bronte Mostafa’s story line. LEOPARD’S RUN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary although Leopard’s Run continues to follow the author’s latest series arc focusing on the Russian Mob.
NOTE: LEOPARD’S RUN contains scenes of graphic violence and implied abuse, that may not be suitable for all readers.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Timur and Ashe) LEOPARD’S RUN follows the building relationship between leopard enforcer Timur Amurov, and barista Ashe Bronte Mostafa. Timur was not impressed that his brother Fyodor’s mate and wife Evangeline hired an unknown female leopard to help out in her bakery and café. Not one to believe in coincidences Timur attempts to ferret out the stranger’s secrets only to discover the stranger is the other half of his leopard’s soul. Enter Ashe Bronte Mostafa, and the woman with whom Timur will fall in love. What ensues is the building relationship between Timur and Ashe, and the potential fall-out as Ashe and the Amurov family are targeted in a takeover attempt of power and control.
Ashe Bronte is about to enter the Han Vol Dan-the leopard female equivalent of going into heat-but her pheromones attract all kinds of trouble including the unwanted attention of every shifter male. Already the target of a vengeful man Ashe needs the help of the local Russian mobster but believes her presence is a threat to Evangeline and the Amurov family. Timur knows the pain and suffering of torture and abuse, and in this, he believes he is unworthy of a mate but Ashe’s presence is the only thing that calms his raging beast, a beast that is willing to kill to protect his family and mate.
The relationship between Ashe and Timur is one of immediate attraction but Ashe is on the run, desperate to contact Fyodor, in the hopes of procuring his criminal experience. Timur’s leopard knows that Ashe is their mate but struggles with the knowledge that his abusive past is but a grain of sand in a long line of sins and violence. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Evangeline and Fyodor Amurov (Leopard’s Blood #8), cousins Gorya and Mitya; Jake Bannaconni, Eli Perez, Elijah Lospostos, Jeremiah Wheating, and Drake Donovan. We are introduced to Evangeline’s brothers Christophe and Ambroise Tregre, their father Beau, and Uncle Gilbert. The requisite evil has many faces.
The world building continues to look at the brutal and sexually aggressive world of the leopard shifter. From abusive males to power and control, the leopards are a people who fear their own kind when past experiences have shaped the violent tendencies through cruelty, threats, anger and pain.
LEOPARD’S RUN is a story of family and betrayal; power and control; violence, killing and brutality. Christine Feehan pulls the reader into the volatile and explosive world of the leopard. The premise is raw and gritty; the romance is spirited and provocative; the characters are flawed, colorful and energetic. LEOPARD’S RUN is an intoxicating and imaginative entry into the world of the supernatural genre.
Love! Love! Love this book! Couldn’t put it down
A great paranormal romance series
I usually prefer the leopard books that are set in the swamps, but this one was pretty good. Set in San Antonio, TX, It felt like it had more of a plot than the last one I read. This one follows Timur and Ashe, while also featuring Evangeline and Fyodor from Leopard’s Fury. This had some good battles too. As this series goes on, it tends to focus more of very graphic sex scenes and less on plot. I wish we could have more of a plot because when we do it is very interesting.
Anything by Ms. Fehan is a wonderful read.
Awesome book. 6 stars
