I always thought that opposites attract was a load of crap. Until my biker boots led me straight to a gorgeous, polished suit. His fancy University was a far cry from my Trade school. We couldn’t be more different if we tried. His smooth balanced out my rough edges. When my world was turned upside down, and all was lost,He took me in his arms… promised to help me find my way. Unfortunately, my … find my way.
Unfortunately, my journey was tougher than he had imagined.

Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations…
Will that destination be in Ian’s arms? God, I hope so.

Some say that opposites may attract and in this case, it happens with Leo and Ian…even if it did take many years for Ian to finally realize what was in front of him all long but at least he opened his eyes, yay!
Leo has been secretly in love with Ian since she was 5 years old; I know what may be thinking, “No kid at that age even knows what love is”, well she did and as years passed by, her love grew but Ian never noticed so she decided her love to be hidden. I loved Leo’s characters so much! She was a strong and at the same time, vulnerable, but she always stood for her friends and who she considered her family. She was loyal, passionate in what she loved to do, which is being a mechanic and she would change that for anything in the world.
I especially loved reading her thoughts because you can see through the rough facade she puts in front of other people but inside herself, she can’t hide and that includes her unrequited love for Ian. Destiny saw it was time to put these two together and that it was time for Ian, the businessman, complete opposite from our tomboy, mechanic Leo, to open his eyes to what was in front of him all along and in their friends/siblings wedding, he did and after that nothing was going to stop him in getting Leo. At first, he was confused to what he was feeling, seeing as he’s never felt either protective nor possessive of the women he’s been with before but with Leo, it was different but after realizing how Leo is, how genuine, passionate, caring, he decides that he’s staking his claim on her and when he did… well their intimate scenes were HOT as hell!!
Of course, there are some nefarious situations/obstacles that these two have to overcome, especially Leo since it seems she’s the one being targeted. The events that start occurring after Leo and Ian officially get together, makes me believe that someone doesn’t want them together and I was right but I can’t spoil who it was but I’ll give you a hint, it’s no ex for either Leo or Ian but someone obsessed with one of them… Luckily at the end, the culprit is discovered and apprehended and these two get their happy ending <3
I absolutely loved that Danielle Norman gives us almost two decades into Leo & Ian's future and it was awesome! It was also funny, the scenes with their kids, it cracked me up reading it 🙂
But I most loved about the epilogue, was Leo and Ian's love showing in the writing and it was a beautiful thing to read <3 <3
Trouble leads our tough lady mechanic Leo to lose her job, be kept from her friends and to feel like she is losing her mind. One bright light on the horizon is Ian, her crush since age 5. They find a connection at a wedding that neither had thought was possible.
Enjoyed this story.
3.5 stars.
This book was my least favorite so far. I didn’t like how Ian just all of a sudden started “seeing” Leo. I also found the mystery a little predictable. Leo had been in love with Ian her whole life, but Ian never really saw her as anything but a friend of the family. At his brothers wedding he starts to see her in a different light. Soon after that her life starts to fall apart. I figured out the real cause of Leo’s problems from the beginning. It was a good book but I felt the others were great.
This book was realistic. I could see this story happening in real life. It was a very satisfying read. It tricked me on who was the true bad guy.
This is the fourth book in the Iron Orchids series by Danielle Norman. It was just as fun, sweet, and entertaining as previous books in the series. Ian Christakos is a rocket scientist. No, really, he is a rocket scientist. Leo, technically Leonora, is a Harley mechanic. Opposites, right? They’ve known one another since they were kids. Leo is already part of Ian’s family. She’s crushed on him since she was five. He just discovered her. Too bad someone has it out for them. Why is it that no one suspects the obvious manipulative biotch? It always takes them too long to figure it out! Well, ok, in all fairness, there’s a little more to the story and you’ll really enjoy reading it. So, if you haven’t already, I suggest you start at the beginning of this whole series so that you can truly experience the Christakos family in all their Greek glory!
Great read!
One of my favorites of this series! Definitely a page- turner from the beginning, the plot was tight and the characters were very well developed. Leo was “like an M&M, hard on the inside and soft on the inside” and Ian proved to not just be the literal rocket scientist but a romantic one. Romance with a side of suspense.
Amazing book, I recommend it immensely.
Loved the chemistry, romance, mystery, and history of the characters! Especially loved thr HEA!!!
Another Great
I love how the stories bring friends together and show that there are strong women out there and love comes to all.
It had humor. I had a real life situations. And just the right amount of reality. I enjoyed the book and read the series.
I really, really enjoyed it
Ok so I got first two books free they were really good and I have to say they hooked me LOL. I have now bought remaining books in series. Each one has not disappointed me one bit. I will get more books from this author. At least get one read it and enjoy and I bet like me you will get the rest.
I read the whole series.i couldn’t put it down and loved every character in this series.
This is a special story with two dissimilar people finding each other. I loved the believable story arc. Danielle Norman is one of my favorite authors.
The suspense and love in this book is great!
Leo has been best friends with Sophia most of her life. Because of this she has been a part of the Christakos family for just as long. She hasn’t has it easy. Her mother was overly religious making it difficult or Leo to have a normal childhood, and made her the “weird” girl in school. All her life Leo has been in love with Ian Christakos but knows that he doesn’t really see her that way.
When Leo and Ian finally get their chance to be together it seems that someone else is setting plans to get in their way and set Leo up for crimes against the motor police jeopardizing Leo’s reputation and livelihood.
I love this series. I feel like I am one of the girls, part of their “gang”, a next door neighbor in their small family-hood, and even part of the family. I can’t get enough of this series.
Love the characters and watching them work things out. Another strong woman who has a lesson to learn. Steamy and funny = an A+ read.
I fell in love hard and fast for this story!
I really enjoyed Leo’s character! I loved how she tried so hard to be independent even not wanting to accept help when she needed it, she was so stubborn at times. So when she let people help her it was so good! She was such a strong female character and I loved the fact she was a biker and didn’t feel the need to dress in girly clothes or feel the need to try and justify who she was especially to her mother who just irritated me so much through this novel.
I loved Ian, he was so funny and just his reaction to falling in love with Leo and sleeping with her and some of his comments was just quite funny. I loved his character. I loved how he just wanted to help Leo and then when she kept refusing his help he just went ahead and did it any way I loved it.
I loved their relationship and their story! It was honestly just so sweet and cute especially knowing that Leo had a crush on Ian since she was little. It was just sweet how he just wanted to be there and help also be a shoulder that he could cry on. It did make me laugh how awkward Ian and Leo are with each other, the night after they sleep together it had me proper laughing, it was so funny!
I loved the greek family. I think I’ve said that in every review of Danielle Norman’s book! Either way it doesn’t make it any less true! I love how supportive they are and it’s just amazing. I loved seeing the other Iron Orchid’s again, also just I loved seeing all the other characters from the other novels. It just it’s great to see them and see them progress from their story from when they appear in this one. I love it.
The story is very suspenseful! The plot was different to the other stories as it was more suspenseful and you kind of had to suss out who was framing Leo for the crimes (trying to be vague). From the moment it all happened I did guess who it was and I was right. Although I guessed it, I still loved it. Such an amazing plot!
