Joe is in hot water when he shoots an allegedly unarmed suspect. How will Zoe prove that the suspect had actually risen from the dead? It might not be that hard when other former residents of Destiny Cove start emerging from their graves.Lend a Helping Hand is the fourth book in the Wicked Witches of Destiny Cove cozy mystery series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is the story of Destiny cove and how Zoe the a witch and backed owner likes to follow the clue to solve crimes in her town her boyfriend is a cop names joe and the town is still trying to find the demon that Amanda made a deal with now there is something happening at the black well rock asylum.Awesome
Wow a scary old mental institution is certainly the place I do not want to visit. Zoe and Joe are in such deep trouble; it does not look like it will ever go away. This book has it all, zombies, witches and demons. Fall for the magic and wonderful characters. You really have to read this book. Purchased book through Kindle Unlimited and so glad I did.
Lend a Helping Hand #4 – Pretty good ending to a series, but the last chapter was a quickie closing, but it works. Well written and fast paced, Hazel and Grim keep the reader interested in the storylines as they search for Ginger and battle the dead to solve whattheheyishappeninhere. All the characters are there doing their parts and there’s a nice surprise, and a not so bad surprise really, about a couple of the characters. I contacted the author to review her books and received this book through Booksprout. 4*
The Witching Hour #1 – This is my first book by this author and I thought it was OK. There was too much emphasis on her mother’s cleaning and her cleaning supplies. Ginger the guinea pig familiar is adorable; I really like her personality.
It took a while but this quickly read, simple story did get interesting and most of the characters are likable. Not a bad mystery, worth reading when wanting a quick story with humor and good magic. This is a good introduction to the series and I did like the fact the witch used her powers instead of “the too common denying who she is theme”. I found this book on Booksprout.co. 4*
Mummy Knows Best #2 – This is a better story than The Witching Hour. Well written and fast paced, the storylines are interesting keeping the reader involved in the quickly read story. The killer is easily figured out near the beginning of the story but the journey to solving the murder is good. The characters are still likable and Ginger has a boyfriend. There’s good humor and good witchcraft.
Willow has gotten a grip on her cleaning madness, which is something that annoyed me in TWH. The story needs minor editing, but the errors weren’t distracting. I contacted the author to review her books and received this book through Booksprout. 4*
A Howling Good Time #3 – Another good addition to the bunch. Ginger gets a good chunk of the story and the Cookbook is still so cool. BUT the story is very short and it ends in a cliffhanger. Plenty of intrigue with the demons and an unknown darkness approaching.
There’s a new familiar and an old familiar gone, but there is another familiar arriving soon. The pace is constantly moving and the witches have to join together. Interesting series with good storylines and likable characters; better than I expected since I’m spoilt by Nova’s Eastwind bunch. I contacted the author to review her books a while back and received this one through Booksprout. 4*
