Enemies turn to lovers in this bad boy billionaire romance with a twist.I had a plan. Finish law school. Start a job. Stay away from men like Brandon Sterling. Cocky, overbearing, and richer than the Earth, he thinks the world belongs to him, and that includes me.Yeah, no. Think again. It doesn’t matter that his blue eyes look straight into my soul, or that his touch melts my icy reserve. It … soul, or that his touch melts my icy reserve. It doesn’t even matter that past all that swagger, there’s a beautiful, damaged man who has so much to offer beyond private planes and jewelry boxes.
But I had a plan: no falling in love.
I just have to convince myself.

I am unsure of what words to use to describe this book. It was…wow….
Legally yours is about A law student Skylar who has a Chance meeting with a billionaire businessman.
Brandon has a past that he is trying to overcome, and he tends to overcompensate in showing those around him that he is worth something.
Skylar doesn’t come from much, but she has a family that loves her and an education to get her far. But her family does have problems that take their toll.
Together Brandon and Skylar make mistakes but try to work through them as they grow as individuals and as a couple.
What did I love about this book? I love how Brandon isn’t your typical book billionaire. He isn’t a playboy. He doesn’t mess around with games, or lead anyone on. He is slightly awkward but genuine. He struggles with learning how to live differently than he was taught. He struggles to accept that he is loved the way he is. He sees what he wants and he works to get it. I love that is was clear that he just wants to be loved and accepted for who is he, no games and not much pretense.
Skylar is a strong woman with many walls but she stands her ground and won’t accept anything less than what she deserves, honesty and openness. She has her faults but I love that she doesn’t easily accept what Brandon tries giving her. She shows a depth of character and a strong woman who will do whatever she can for those she loves.
This is book one of the Spitfire Trilogy and is not a stand alone.
I really liked it, the issues the characters deal with that are rooted in their upbringing and childhoods. I like the lead character Brandon’s commanding way, yet how vulnerable he really is, as well as Skylar’s spunk, wit, intelligence, although she can be exasperating at times. I can’t wait to read the others.
Liked it so much I got the rest of the series and finished it in a week!
Nichole French is a very lovely author and I love reading her books. the vest are spitfire series and rose gold series. bad idea is another best and kissplot too. don’t miss her books
enjoyed all 3 books in the series. Skylar and Brandon have many issues to resolve stemming from their childhoods.
OMG!!!!! Incredible!!!
It was about the “right love at a wrong time”. Never really thought that Brandon is still married and that Skylar never knew about it till that encounter at the kitchen. The complications in Skylar’s life is also another thing.
The book shows us the imperfections and the hurdles a person faces in real life. That no matter how rich or powerful you are, you still cannot have everything and that even if you are at the top of your class and loved by your family with a whole future at your fingertips, problems still abound and your will, resilience and judgment will be tested.
It was a great story with two other books to complete the series. It was so good that I am reading the second book now and has downloaded the third in order to complete the story of Skylar and Brandon.
Wow what a hot steamy read that will have you on the edge of your seat throughout this story and needing more from this story. This is the first book I read by this author and has been a on going author for me as I love the way you feel like you are right their in the story.
Great series
Interesting and wanted to complete the series
Was hard to put down
Skylar is at Harvard Law and she meets a man named Brandon and there is some intense chemistry. Brandon pursues Skylar until she finally lets herself go and falls for him. But they both have secrets that the relation might not be able to survive. Great characters and storyline. Highly recommended.
This is one of those where the heroine runs every time there’s a bump in the road, and the hero doesn’t want to reveal his past so lots of bumps. It gets old really quickly. She overreacts too many times to count. And then to top it all off it ends in a cliffhanger. Grrrrrr. I will not be reading the rest of the series.
4 stars for Legally Yours by Nicole French. This is book 1 in the Spitfire trilogy. I could not put this book down. I started book 2 right after finishing this one. Skylar is a law student finishing up her internship at Sterling Grove. One night she meets her book Brandon Sterling in some interesting circumstances. An instant attraction develops between these two and soon it turns into something more. I will say that I am not a big fan of Brandon at this point. I am opening he redeems himself in the next book. I do however feel that Skylar is a bit scared and runs a lot. Both of these two have secrets and these secrets could ruin everything for them. I laughed and cried during this book. So many emotions. I loved the characters and the circumstances that each of them is in.
Nicole!?!?!?! The Queen of cliffhangers and angst strikes again. I technically read this out of order since I read The Quicksilver Trilogy first. Although, I feel I have an advantage since Skylar and Brandon have pretty big roles in the entire Quicksilver series. If you are new to Nicole’s books and you don’t want any spoilers, read the Spitfire series before Quicksilver. Either way, you need to read them all! Amazing, heart-wrenching, and over the top romance fill the pages of both series.
On the night Skylar met Brandon, she was trying to get home but a snowstorm blanketing Boston was making it almost impossible. When faced with the choice of walking through the storm to the nearest station or staying in Brandon’s guest bedroom, who knew it would be so difficult. She didn’t need any distractions but fate had other plans.
Neither Brandon nor Skylar could ignore their intense feelings toward each other. Will they be able to figure out how to fit into each other’s worlds or are they too different? Will their hearts or their heads win the war they are silently battling?
Oh Brandon!! Time after time he messed up! Throwing expensive things to a level headed amazing woman! It doesn’t always work like that bud, some girls just want you, not the perks that come along!
Keep tissues on stand by and be ready for your heart to hurt. I can’t wait to start on the next installment. I already know how it all ends but I couldn’t imagine not being apart of the ride!
This was the first book in the series and truthfully, if I hadn’t kept reading I would have missed a true gem. The first 10% or so was hard to read as Brandon was a complete ass, Skylar did give as good as she got, but once the real Brandon started to appear, it sucked me in and I was hooked. Skylar is a Harvard Law student who accidentally ends up in the home of Brandon Sterling, billionaire and named partner with Sterling Grove, the company where Skylar has just completed her internship. With the relationship flourishing, life gets in the way in the form of a crazy family in New York, even crazier wife and parents with imploding lives, Brandon and Skylar have to fight for love. Was thrilled these books were on Kindle Unlimited and I didn’t have to wait to complete the series.
Skylar is finishing up Harvard Law School. A chance encounter with Billionaire Brandon – leaves them both wanting more. A 3 book saga with hints of Christian Grey minus the BDSM. I really enjoyed this first book – but am a little over the drama and lies that make up the start of the second book. I am uncertain if I will finish this series.
Loved this so much I bought the next 2 books to finish the series.
very good read what I didn’t like is that I can’t get the other books in the series in the nook format.
