Together, they dig into her family’s secrets. The closer they get to the truth, the closer they grow to one another. Can Chelsea save the legacy her parents fought to leave her? Can Dylan save Chelsea from the enemies determined to see her dead?

This is a great book full of suspence and romance. I could not put it down and when I did I had to get back to it as soon as I could. Plenty of action and twists. I really enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to the next one. It was well written and easy to read. Thanks for a great suspence.
This is a very good CLEAN read. Hard to put down once you start reading it. Good Plot and great twists and turns in the book.
I received an advance ebook and I am voluntarily giving my review.
The whole Legacy series is wonderful. In Legacy Reclaimed I really fell in love with the characters. There is so many caring people you just can’t help it. My favorite character in this book is Dougie – Read and you will see why! There are also the characters to learn to despise…..which adds twists and turns to the story. The descriptive way Robin describes the scenery and mountains and such make it all come alive. There is suspense, small town, love and family. What a great book.
Great suspense and mystery!
Chelsea Hamilton has finally returned home to New Hampshire, but it isn’t the joyful reunion she had envisioned. Instead of hugging her mother, she is burying her and now she has no one left except her Uncle Frank and HCI, the clothing company her deceased parents left as their legacy. She will need to hide her grief and assume leadership of HCI as soon as possible because the once-prosperous company is struggling to survive under Uncle Frank’s leadership and rumors that she is relocating HCI to Mexico have earned her the employees’ animosity. Chelsea goes on the run when she finds herself targeted for murder. She must place her trust in God to provide for her and protect her.
Dylan O’Donnell is now a private investigator following his retirement from the police department. When he isn’t working he volunteers at the local food bank where he has seen all manner of people in need, but the blonde who showed up today carrying a Louis Vuitton purse surprised him. She is not the type that needs support services, but the walking cast and the bandages on her hands plus the pain in her eyes told him that she needed help.
Then Dylan found out who Chelsea really was and heard the story about the murder attempt on her life. Now if he could just keep her alive until they found the killer!
This is a good crime mystery but it is also a story of faith with a little romance thrown in. This is the second book I have read in this series and I enjoyed it as much as the first one. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys well-written, clean stories.
LEGACY. RECLAIMED…Robin Patchen
Chelsea felt safe on the mountain, the mountain she climbed as a child, last time she felt normal. When her father had been murdered. At the top, then a hooded man came, and she careened over the cliff. An Old Fishing Cabin of
her father had, to hide and heal, needing food she goes to a food bank.
Chance meeting Dylan.now a PI, her’s is not the type of case he takes.
She has been out of the country for years, does this go back to her father, maybe something with the business. Good clean, faith based story, of God bringing the two together to help keep her safe and find out why.
Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
Exciting story – will keep you guessing…and maybe holding your breath!
Legacy Reclaimed is an exciting, suspenseful, don’t-want-to-put-it-down story! Robin Patchen is excellent at giving us a story just intense enough to keep you reading, and believable enough to make you feel like you are a part of the story. She weaves in the romance in a lovely, gentle way. And she brings out the faith of her characters in a way that is just a part of who they are, not preachy – just encouraging and a natural part of their lives.
The story has a few twists & surprises, which might keep you up late just to finish it, because who can put down a story when the heroes are in a tight spot?! And just when you think you know who the villain is…you are surprised at who it really is. I highly recommend this book! And while it is book three in the Legacy series, it can stand alone – reading the first two books isn’t required. But of course, they are recommended!
I would highly recommend this book to anyone! Great characters! Suspenseful kept my interest and I couldn’t put it down
Wow, I finished this ebook in two days…(if I hadn’t needed to sleep it would have been one day)! A gripping story with strong faith filled characters. The suspense had me literally biting my nails. (I needed to go with Chelsea and Tabby for a manicure.)
Chelsea comes back home after thirteen years abroad in school. Her mother’s untimely death has her grieving and wondering how this accident could have possibly happened. She now feels the responsibility of running her parent’s clothing company. But attempts are being made on her life and she has no where to turn until God brings Dylan into her life. He’s a private investigator and is drawn into her story and realizes she needs his help.
This was a fast paced story with a very surprising ending. I had my suspicions but was not totally convinced until the last few pages. (Don’t peek, it will ruin it for you!) Adding to the beauty of the story was the friendship and romance blossoming between two people in dire circumstances. You will find that your time has been well spent as you jump into the pages of this novel.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author through the publisher but was not required to write a review positive or otherwise.
This is a new author for me. I was delighted with her way of having a backstory for each of her characters. This book had Christian beliefs in play. There were no explicit sex scenes to scroll through. The language was pure and understandable. Her mention of the Perfume Charlie was one of those moments that took me back in time. It made me smile. There is still room for more mystery in Chelsea’s and Dylan’s story. If you are looking for romance, mystery, and intrigue, this is for you
Legacy Reclaimed read like a suspense movie, the kind where you settle into your seat with a big tub of popcorn and enjoy the show. It’s smartly written with
whiplash action, nail biting suspense, and subtle characters who may or may not be quite who you’d thought they were.
Lovers of both suspense and romance readers need to read this book, you won’t be disappointed. Glad there’s another one in this series coming from this talented author.
Chelsea returned home because her mother had died in a car accident. Chelsea was to take over the clothing business her parents had started years before. When she got home strange things began to happen. Why did someone push her off a cliff? She hired Donovan as a private investigator to find out.
Legacy Reclaimed held my attention and kept me wondering what was going on and who was out to get her. I don’t think you will figure it out…..
This book is wonderful. If you’ve ever read any of Robin’s books you know they always draw you in on the first page. This one starts out with a bang. A beautiful heiress loses her mother in what she thinks is an accident. Someone tries to kill her, and with God’s help she gets away. And the race for her life is on. The cast has an older friend of her mother’s, Lauren, her Uncle Frank, and some other really evil people. The best part of this whole book is that God shows up when He’s most needed, as He always does!
I really enjoyed “Legacy Reclaimed” by Robin Patchen. This is Book 3 in the Legacy series. You don’t have to read the first two to understand what’s going on in this book. I haven’t read the first two yet.
This book has a lot of action and suspense in it. In fact, the first page starts with it! There are some twists and turns along the way.
I highly recommend this book. Robin Patchen is a great romantic suspense author, and I look forward to reading more books by her.
I received this book from the author for my honest opinion.
Another enjoyable story by Robin Patchen set in the vicinity of the fictional town of Nutfield, New Hampshire. Several of the characters are familiar, having appeared first in one of her previous books. Chelsea is the heroine of this story. The story opens with her having just returned home from Paris for her mother’s funeral. Although she has lived a life of privilege, she has truly missed home and her mother. After getting pushed off a cliff the morning after her mother’s funeral and being left for dead, she tenaciously finds her way to safety, gets medical help, and leaves town to hide while the police search for her would-be murderer. Meeting Dylan O’Donnell, a private investigator, is providential. The action ramps up quickly from the first chapter and continues almost non-stop to the conclusion. I appreciated the strong faith shared by Chelsea and Dylan. I think the story would have had a different ending without their faith. The suspense was tangible and compelling, grabbing and holding the reader all the way, never knowing what would happen next while trying to figure things out. Even though I thought I was starting to figure out the guilty party two or three times, I had to wait until the end to get the answers to the who and why questions. I never want to meet any of the bad guys in Robin’s books, but I think I would enjoy spending some time visiting a place like Nutfield. I received an advance copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review. All opinions are strictly my own.
Legacy Reclaimed starts out with nail biting, heart pounding suspense. Chelsea has returned to America for her mother’s funeral. Little does she know the danger that awaits.
Dylan is intrigued by the young woman he sees outside the food bank. Wearing expensive clothes, with a designer handbag, she isn’t the typical client. His instincts spur him to help her.
Can loss set your life on a course of action that cannot be changed, or is that the direction you were always meant to go? Do things happen by coincidence, or is God at work in every circumstance?
These are questions that Chelsea and Dylan must ask themselves as as they navigate their growing interest in each other, and search for the person who’s trying to kill Chelsea.
This book has the perfect balance of suspense and romance. The characters are real and well written. A great read!
Chelsea Hamilton is heir to a clothing manufacturing company. Her mother has died in a car accident and she is coming from Paris to take the reins of the company. Someone tries to push her off a cliff while hiking. She survives and tries to buy food and finds her credit cards are locked. She runs into Dylan O’Donnell, a PI, who helps her buy food. Her jeep will not start and he takes her to her cabin, only to be greeted with a gun shot. This is a suspenseful thriller with some romance. A page turning novel to keep you interested.
Chelsea is back in New Hampshire for her mother’s funeral. Her only relative alive is her uncle Frank, after her father died thirteen years ago in a robbery in New York. Since then she is been living in Europe. Now she is going to inherit their family’s business and is going to run it. But when someone tries to kill her, is she safe at home? When she meets P.I. Dylan in Nuffield, while running to stay alive, they feel an instant connection and they will work together to find the truth even if it will dangerous God help.
I love a good mystery & this one fits that criteria. I didn’t want to put this one down-so much suspense going on. Had me on the edge of my seat (& I wasn’t sitting down all the time!). I have read all the books in this series but I think this one is better than the others. Wonder what the next one will be like-can’t wait. I do love Ms. Patchen’s writing. I received an ARC. This is my honest, voluntary opinion.
Robin Patchen does it again! Another spectacular romantic suspsense novel that you won’t want to miss! This is the 3rd book in the Legacy series, but can definitely be read as a stand-alone. Fans of the series will be glad to see Angel and Donovan again, but their history is not important to the story-line of this book. Also, fans of the Hidden Truth series will be glad to see Eric and Kelsey Nolan again as well (again, their history is not important to this story, but it’s fun to see some “familiar faces”).
In this story, Chelsea Hamilton returns to Coventry, NH after her mom’s death to take over the family business. When an attempt is made on her life as well, Chelsea hides at her dad’s old fishing cabin in Nutfield (another “familiar” place to fans of the author). It’s in Nutfield that she meets PI Dylan O’Donnell and feels the Lord’s prompting to trust him to help her figure out who’s targeting her. Every answer they obtain raises more questions and Chelsea’s circle of those she can trust continues to dwindle. Will they be able to find out who has placed a target on Chelsea’s back before it’s too late?
This is another intensely suspenseful story line by Ms. Patchen. Though I thought I knew the bad guy pretty early on, there were several twists and turns that threw me off. And though I was kinda sorta right about it, there was a lot more than met the eye going on. The action kept me on the edge of my seat. The characters were well developed, compatible and likable. I found Dylan to be endearing and I’m pretty sure Chelsea and I would have been great friends. There was also a strong faith thread as both characters relied on God to guide them and bring help. While the romance element of romantic suspense is not my favorite part, Ms. Patchen always does a great job of keeping it realistic. I loved how Dylan handled expressing his feelings to Chelsea and the freedom he gave her in responding. The suspense and romance were well balanced in this one, I felt. Overall, I would strongly recommend this one to fans of inspirational romantic suspense.
Special thanks to the author for an advanced ecopy of this book. I was under no obligation to write a review and the thoughts contained herein are my own.
