Wonderful characters in Buchbinder’s good versus evil novel, where talented spirits battle the worst of the worst. Emma Horserider, revered by her quirky Crow friends, converses with animals; horses let her know drones are out to kill wild mustangs. Bronco Winchester a loner, is skilled at envisioning the future; working with the tight knit Native community is both alien and attractive to him. Enter the brave, strong, and beautiful Emma. The two must work together, stopping the murderous drones and taking down a malevolent cult. Buchbinder easily ties in unique characters, humor, romance, and suspense. A fun read!
