He has to rule a Shifter Kingdom he doesn’t want. She has to break all the rules to protect her unborn baby. After one passionate night, will Fate bring them back together?Korrin just wanted to drink whiskey and get away from his family. He didn’t want the prestige of being the Romani Traveler King’s son, to say nothing of the responsibility. But where there is power, there are people willing to … people willing to go anything to keep (or steal) it. And soon he wouldn’t have any choice in the matter…
Kris couldn’t believe she had a one night stand with the tall, dark and handsome guy with those gorgeous golden eyes. They couldn’t have really been golden, right? No matter that now, all that mattered was the tiny life she was now carrying, and how that would turn her world upside down.
She had no idea how right she was.
This full length bear shifter paranormal romance novel has all the action, steam and true love that only a Fated Mates story can deliver!

Can something good come out of tragedy
Kris and Korrin hook up in a one night stand with more than the typical complications. With danger coming from every side, will they stay together or even survive? Only time will tell if they are able to reach their HEA and what is in store for the clan next.
It was okay for me, I kept losing interest in this book, the main characters , they just didn`t seem to be in love to me.
I wanted it not to end
good
Definitely a lot of action but not much character development. I didn’t feel attached to them
Enjoyed the story and the characters. Consistent story line but good stand alone.
Although I do prefer to read standalone books, I did like this first book in the trilogy. By publishing all three books at the same time, Ms. Fanning did ensure that her readers did not have to wait to read subsequent books and that’s something I appreciate. The storyline is somewhat different in that the bear shifters are members of a nomadic Romani Kingdom. Korrin is the reluctant King by default after the death of his father and his older brother’s assassination. He and our heroine, Kris, have a one night stand which results in an unexpected pregnancy. The possibility that there is another heir in the wings puts Kris in the assassin’s crosshairs. Under attack, Kris is rescued by Korrin. Throughout the book, danger seems to lurk around every corner, testing Kris and Korrin’s relationship.
I feel that I got to know the characters well and became invested in their stories during this first book. There are plenty of twists and turns and enough action in and out of the bedroom to keep me interested in finishing the second book in this series.
Legacy is an enjoyable read. It has vivid imagery that grabbed and held my attention throughout. It offers drama, action, romance, and intrigue that kept me thoroughly entertained. I adored the the strength and vulnerability of Kris and Korrin; it allowed me to become invested in their success and happiness. I also appreciated Tawni role in the story, and hope to see more of her. Definitely worth the read. Looking forward to the next installment.
This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.
fun read
The story was decent. The villain was a surprise. The story technically wasn’t a cliffhanger but the villain did get away so part 2 will probably have him reappear. My rating reflects my opinion of books published in parts.
DNF. the story had some editing issues I couldn’t get past. From the very start Kris is upset about something that happened “a few days ago”. Hmmm? It was a few days ago but she’s pregnant!?! Then when Korrin is talking about his room in the castle he says the word ‘room’ about eight times in a paragraph and a half.
Ultimately, I did not connect with ANY of the characters enough to want to continue.
Great story with excellent characters. I enjoyed the storyline.
I only gave this book a 3 because the story was good, but I spent a great deal of my reading time correcting the spelling, and grammar. Who ever edited this book did a horrible job., it really took away from my reading experience.
The writing was awful, but the story wasn’t bad.
Story was muddled and confusing- the timeline made no sense and location even less.
It was just ok
Unrealistic characters. Simply wasn’t well developed. Grammatical errors sucked the life from the story
Terrible read. Cardboard characters, predictable storyline, poorly edited, I can’t recommend this book.
This book didn’t need the shifter cliche. It seemed like an add on to the story.
This book had so many grammatical errors it was very annoying to read. The storyline had potential, but it was very choppy and the characters were not developed. I would find a different author to read. I do not recommend reading this book.
