An emotionally evolving romance.
Lucy and Roman have been together for three years now and both are realizing that they are going to have to adapt if they are going to stay together. Eventually, Lucy gets pushed to her breaking point and uses her exit phrase. But neither one really wants things to end between them. They just need to renegotiate their relationship goals.
This is the third book in the Surrender series and needs to be read in the order it was written as it ties up things in the series. (Pun intended)
As with all the books in this series, it deals with the BDSM lifestyle and it’s many, many variations so if that’s not for you, don’t read this book.
I received a free copy of this book via the Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
WOW! Ok so full disclosure, I did not particularly care for the first book in this series, Raising Lucy. This book is basically the part two to that story and I loved it! Seriously did not put it down. There is an inner struggle that Lucy has to come to terms with and Roman has to deal with his little growing up and wanting more. They both love each other very much but Lucy needs more and Roman needs to come to terms with that and re- negotiate their life together…. for better or worse. Oh, there is a surprise (no spoiler) that in a way I saw coming just not to that extent.
This was a fantastic book with great character and storyline development that lured me right in from the very beginning! However, the interaction and chemistry between Lucy and Roman kept me turning the pages until the very end!
Another AMAZING romance – full of sensuous BDSM action and suspense!
Author Becca Jameson, has once again, provided her readership with a fantastic romance full of the suspense, action, and BDSM sensuousness that ROMANCE readers long for! With page-turning suspense, LEAVING ROMAN tells the continuing story of Lucy and Roman a romance from one of last year’s favorites, TRAINING LUCY. However, in LEAVING ROMAN, Lucy who has just finished her degree in business is feeling unsettled. Roman makes some bonehead-man-moves which exacerbate the situation, proving even in the world of BDSM, there is room for growth and a need to keep relationships fresh. If you are looking for a wonderful story and enjoy the STEAM in BDSM style, then LEAVING ROMAN should be your next romance purchase! I volunteered to read a copy of LEAVING ROMAN and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. LEAVING ROMAN is entertaining, easy yet exciting to read, and has easily earned this five-STAR rating. LEAVING ROMAN is too feel-good to overlook and is a great way to enjoy this time of social distancing. Happy pages!
This book is a follow up to book 1 in the Surrender series (Raising Lucy) & picks up 3 years after that book finished. Lucy has graduated college & discovers that she wants more in her life than she has at present, but doesn’t know how to voice he concerns to Roman. If you haven’t read book 1, don’t worry as this is easily read as a standalone & you are given enough information to understand the beginning of their relationship. I really enjoyed this book as it did deal & address what could possibly be issues in this type of relationship. Please, it had a very satisfying ending.
I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Leaving Roman . This is book three in the Surrender series .
Lucy and Roman have a kink roll play relationship . This may not be to everyones
Liking but I have it very interesting and entertaining . It’s well written . I
Emotional and moving and suspenseful . I highly recommend taking the time to read and enjoy .
The Surrender series contains BDSM relationships and Lucy and Roman’s is a Daddy Dom/Little. On top of his normal business Roman also owns the BDSM Club Surrender. This is the third book in the series and the second one involving Lucy and Roman.
When we left Lucy and Roman they had reached an understanding for her to attend college and not remotely. Now she’s graduating, a milestone in her life but she’s also feeling the need for something more. She’s just not sure what.
For her graduation party Lucy wanted to stay in her relatively adult clothing and not transition into her role as a little. Master Roman wasn’t prepared for her to ask that and as a result she faced punishment before the dinner party takes place.
It’s the next day that we get more insight as to Lucy’s restlessness.
The conversation they have is more one sided, with Lucy not contributing all the relevant facts. All this leads up to Lucy leaving until she can decide what it is she wants and can be open and honest about it. Roman deserves nothing less and a BDSM relationship has to be bound by trust and honesty or it can be detrimental to both side.
I really love the way this book shows both Roman and Lucy what they’ve started doing wrong. Lucy turns to Claudia for some help and Julius, Beck, and Levi offer a safe place for her to think. She does however, end up going to the apartment Roman set up for her near the campus, to be alone with her thoughts.
When Lucy’s half brother shows up, things take a very interesting twist.
This is a very emotional book from both inside and out of the BDSM relationship.
I can’t wait to see what’s next in this series.
Lucy just graduated from college in three years with a business management degree and even though she has been In love with Roman and has been his little in a BDSM arrangement that has been the most fulfilling and wonderfully satisfying….she is loved, cared for, doesn’t want for food anything because her daddy Domm takes care of everything. But Lucy now needs more. They are afraid to bring it to the table for fear of hurting the other.. this is The Very Basic Beginning to a suspenseful wonderfully beautiful romantic love story I just could not put down. I was given this and I voluntarily leave this review.
Even Daddy’s little girl has to grow up sometime which results in growing pains for all involved. In truth, Lucy is having an identity crisis. How does she fit into the real world and remain Daddy’s little girl? Roman is reluctant to allow her to spread her wings fearing that he might lose her. It’s time to re-examine and perhaps renegotiate their relationship, establish trust on both sides and communicate openly and honestly. Taking these steps is vital because remaining in the status quo could cause what Roman and Lucy have to wither and die.
