There’s one thing she’s vowed to never abide in a man… months ago, Jackson Linder left Clayburn with no explanation to anybody. Now he, too, is back. He isn’t sure he’s ready to face the rumors and well-meaning questions of the town’s busybodies. I love all of Deb Raney’s books and have never been let down by any of the many I’ve read. She deals on everyday subjects that are difficult and always comes to the perfect conclusion. I would never hesitate to buy one of her books, sight or description even unseen. She’s one of the best!
Christian based book investing alcoholism through finding God and love.
Great book, can’t put it down!
Love this author have not read a bad story yet !
I enjoyed this story and couldn’t wait to see what happened in the end on all story lines. It easily kept my attention.
Enjoyed it. Kept my interest throughout
A great book. I couldn’t put it down. I had been selecting not so great books, this was one that I enjoyed reading
Well written and entertaining.
I really enjoyed this book. Deborah Raney is such a good author.
This was a very good book with romance and some twists. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it.
I never got more than a B for a book report in school so don’t expect too much. This was a very good book, well written, few editing errors and the characters were likeable and well developed. I enjoyed some of the minor characters very much as well. Figures that the flaw in the hero was the one thing the heroine could not handle. Of course they do overcome this and though it was a little predictable that didn’t detract from the story for me because it really was well written.
Rated as one of the best.
It was entertaining and easy to read. I liked the fact there was no explicit sex.
I love Deborah Raney’s book. This is a book about struggles. It was so good and very inspiring. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is struggling with any issue.
Enjoyable read. I like this author’s books, as she tends to weave in real-life struggles in an uplifting manner.
I thought this book was very true to life.
A little slow but a good story
Great characters and inspirational struggles. I loved the insights Vienne gained in how she treated people and that Jack was solving his problems through prayer. It did feel like “book 2” and I wished for some insight into what Mrs. Kenny was feeling and experiencing. The ending left some relationships hanging with no resolution and that was disappointing.
Both my husband and son are recovered alcoholics and this book really helped me understand their struggles a bit more.
Realistic characters and circumstances which includes disappoint/failures in life, alcoholism, family issues, and struggles with forgiveness. I enjoyed the story and characters as they turned to their faith and prayer in making their decisions and world of mistakes. An inspirational read for me and I will it will be for others.
