There’s one thing she’s vowed to never abide in a man… months ago, Jackson Linder left Clayburn with no explanation to anybody. Now he, too, is back. He isn’t sure he’s ready to face the rumors and well-meaning questions of the town’s busybodies. Yet he’s determined, once more, to make his art gallery a success—despite the secret that haunts him every day…

An excellent read – deep insights.
excellent book.
This book is suggested for readers from 12-18. I’m 66 and loved this book! Maybe it should say 12 and older. A wonderful story of forgiveness, dealing with addictions, God’s steadfastness and two wonderful characters who fall in love. I would highly recommend this for anyone.
Loved
Easy to read, if try hard enough you can overcome all your difficulties.
But remember you have circumstances to face concerning the choses you
make in life.
The heartbreak of alcohol addiction; second chances.
Both main characters have a history of dealing with alcoholism. Walking between the obstacles that could ruin their future together makes for an interesting and clean read.
Good story, good lesson. I liked the characters, I could relate. Highly recommend.
Excellent story on dealing with alcoholism. Jack is recovering and Vienne’s father was an alcoholic. Vienne is afraid to have a relationship with Jack after everything her father did to her family. Vienne is also dealing with her mother who just had a stroke and opening a coffee store. Jack is getting his art gallery running after time in rehab. How the two, with dependence on God, overcome is a wonderful journey. I just wish there was more to this story, what happens next in their life?
Vienne and Jack story is wrought with trauma and hope. Their journey to forgive is one we’ve all been invited to join. This is a powerful story of the Lord’s faithfulness to restore His children.
Recommend to readers who enjoy inspirational fiction.
I borrowed a copy from Kindle Unlimited. All views expressed are my honest opinion.
If you like contemporary Christian romance, I think you’ll like Leaving November. I enjoyed getting to know Vienne and Jack and walk with them as they each try to reconstruct their lives in their hometown and fall in love.
good
Another great read from Deborah Rainey! When I start one of her books, I can’t stop reading until I get to the final page!
A light, easy read, but not authors best. Liked several of her other books better including Face of the Earth, Above All Things, etc.
Outstanding and well-written!
A book that touches my heart because I’ve lived through some terrible things and God has pulled me through thank you
A sweet story of misunderstandings and reconciliation.
Love Irene Hannon’s books, and this one did not disappoint
