good read
This is women’s fiction. An affair. Lost friendship.
An intriguing story about the fragility of friendship and marriages and the consequences that choices and actions have on them. It begins with a mother leaving the hospital without her baby, and is told from the perspective of the two protagonists, who are best friends.
I enjoyed this book! It was unpredictable! I definitely recommend it!
Enjoyed the novel except for the ending. I don’t really know what I was expecting of the ending, but it seemed to end too quickly, as if the author had no more to say so she just quit writing.
This book bothered me. And it has stayed with me for days because it bothered me. The main character, Georgia, grabbed my heart in the first pages, and she didn’t let go — even on the last one. I thought the story was brilliantly written, with layers upon layers of emotion, pain, rage, betrayal, love, regret. Everyone in the story is touched by …
I felt the ending was weak.
What would make a mother walk away from a hospital without the child she fought so hard to carry? This suspenseful family drama circles eloquently around truth, loyalty and commitment — a complex examination of temptation and choices, and of facing the repercussions of our actions.
Was occasionally frustrated trying to follow the timeline. Skips around a lot, but otherwise a good story.
Loved this book. Well written.
Couldn’t put down!
Somewhat predictable but I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Had to keep reading to find out how they would deal with their situation. Made one appreciate their own life for good or bad.
Loved it!
The author did a nice job letting you know the characters. It was just a good depiction of the baggage we carry with us and how it effects life.
Unpredictable page turner.
I didn’t care for all the skipping around in time but otherwise it was OK. Not one of my favorite books.
Would make a great reality TV show …I did find it entertaining and touching
Very interesting plot, enjoyed it
This novel is primarily about the loving bonds of friendship and the consequences of betrayal. The author shows us that betrayal does not mean true love did not exist; the act of betrayal arises from unresolved core issues not yet dealt with. And while betrayal doesn’t discount the love, there are always consequences…and those too will have to …
This book had me at page one………… i wanted more after it ended. first time with this writer. going to look for more .
