In Leaving Everything Most Loved by New York Times bestselling author Jacqueline Winspear, Maisie Dobbs investigates the murder of Indian immigrants in London.
The year is 1933. Maisie Dobbs is contacted by an Indian gentleman who has come to England in the hopes of finding out who killed his sister two months ago. Scotland Yard failed to make any arrest in the case, and there is reason to … and there is reason to believe they failed to conduct a thorough investigation. The case becomes even more challenging when another Indian woman is murdered just hours before a scheduled interview. Meanwhile, unfinished business from a previous case becomes a distraction, as does a new development in Maisie’s personal life.
Bringing a crucial chapter in the life and times of Maisie Dobbs to a close, Leaving Everything Most Loved marks a pivotal moment in this outstanding mystery series.

Maisie is a student of life. I love how each book involves Maisie’s inner growth, not just an adventure in investigation. Great characters in this book. So glad this was not the end of the series.
Maisie Dobbs is a MUST read series! I am currently waiting for the next book. I have reread all of the books when I can’t find another book to read. Read them!
This is the 10th book in the series. I have enjoyed reading the previous books in this series but I found the story in this book “dragged” a bit for me. Perhaps I was annoyed with the main character Maisie Dobbs and had to keep reminding myself that this was Fiction and what she was doing and thinking in the book was the

Great author, not a cookie cutter novel.
love everything she writes

Fan of author and the series. Good story, based on historic events
Loved it. I’ve read and thoroughly enjoyed every book in this excellent series.
Great series. Wonderful characters. Never fails to both entertain and inform. Because this is an ongoing series, with the first title taking place pre WWI, and progressing with each subsequent title forward into WWII, for greatest enjoyment they should be read in order.
I preorder each new title the day they are available so as never miss …
Jacqueline Winspear is a new author to me. I so nice to find a new author I have not ever read or though try. Her book was refreshing and enjoyable to read.

I loved it but I thought it was sad. I didn’t agree with her decision I hope there is more
