A sexy, swoony romance from New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author Jessie Evans.
Cowboy bikers, fireworks, and romance, oh my…
Wild girl, Mia Sherman, has a secret — she isn’t as fearless as she pretends. Descended from Lonesome Point, Texas’s founding family, Mia grew up hearing tales of an old Irish curse that had followed the Shermans to America. At age twenty-four, Mia is still … America. At age twenty-four, Mia is still terrified of the stories, because they aren’t stories. They are a warning about what will happen if Mia allows love and romance into her life. The curse struck Mia’s grandmother and her great-great-whatever grandmother, and Mia knows she could be next. The first-born daughter of every generation is cursed to lose her husband on her wedding night, which is one of the many reasons Mia has sworn off relationships.
Until the fateful day Sawyer Kane rides his Harley into her life…
Rancher turned restoration expert, Sawyer Kane, can’t believe his luck when the feisty owner of the lingerie shop next to his hotel turns out to be the curator of his latest project, a ghost town he’s been sent to restore. He’s looking forward to long, hot days talking history, and hotter nights with Mia, but the redhead with the killer smile seems determined to keep him at a friendly distance. But when a dangerous man from Mia’s past arrives in town, Sawyer finds himself drawn into her inner circle, and into the legend of Lonesome Point itself.
Can true love conquer all, even a centuries-old curse? Mia and Sawyer may be the first to find out.

If you’re looking for a quick, romantic and with a touch of suspense then this is the book for you. Nothing too dark or intense, just enough to make it interesting.
Pretty alluring story!
Somehow it works. The plot is pretty stand whirlwind romance with crazy ex. The abuse is realistic. I really like Mia and Sawyer. Maybe on another day I’d have given it a three but today it just struck me as really good. I loved the ghost town and the idea of revisiting Lonesome Point is something I look forward to.
Curses
His moved back home after getting her degree and opened her own business. But also after being attacked by her ex boyfriend, he was out in jail. She and two of her friends were out to make trouble when she ran into home. Sawyer is in town to give an estimate to fix up the ghost town
great read
Very fun book, fun characters, entertaining setting.
enjoyed this book.
I read Jessie’s Wild Rush Series and I feel in love with her books. They are different. She adds just an element of mystery to this series that is have never read about before. It is sexy, sweet and add some mystery and that is what I need. This could be real people, in a real small country town with a crazy family history.
Mia Sherman moved …
Excellent read with unexpected twists and great characters. Unexpected romance and just enough quirkiness to make you chuckle. A little mystery as well to make the story outline as a wonderful enhancement.
Good read.
Loved it!!
This was a fun read with some exciting moments and nothing like ghost stories. It kept a good pace. Nice story building up to 45% then it is half story and half sex scenes. Pretty good writers of sex scenes. Then it gets exciting. And it has a very nice resolution.
Great read
A fun story! An enjoyable mix of spirits, suspense, and romance.
Really enjoyed this book. The premise was a little different which kept me interested. The dialogue was witty and the characters were fun and sweet but also steamy. Worth the read!
A refreshing light hearted story full of spirited characters. Realistic, fun, old time curses, heated passion, danger and maybe a ghost or two. It’s a very entertaining story and well worth reading.
I’ll be honest – didn’t get through the first chapter. I don’t think it’s because it’s bad – just that the characters were too young for me – I need something more mature – I couldn’t get into it.
loved it
Enjoyed the characters and the storyline.
Very good, once I started reading, I could put it down
